Thank you sir.. did not even think of looking there
Thank you for this!
Thank you so much
Thank u very much!!
My 95 Suburban K1500 has Rear AC has the Y-Pipe in the left front just below the battery. Never had to change it until now. Took a week researching. Wish I had see this first. The comment and your video would have saved me a lot of time. Thanks
Front AC only, in front condenser, like the video. Suburban's, Tahoe's and Yukon's with rear AC systems have the orifice tube in the Y-pipe (not found on front only vehicles). Do not put an orfice tube in the front condenser location on dual AC systems in these vehicles. Doing so adversely affects the cooling effectiveness and may cause other system issues.
Is there only the one orifice in the y even for rear air? I don't know why info seems so hard to find for the late gmt400's. Thanks.
Wow this is exactly what a tech did to my dual air Tahoe, he installed the orifice tube right behind the grille. This has to be the reason that I haven't been able to get my front air to cool below like 68 degrees. Thanks!
Thanks dude. Cool. I broke half truck before see your video. Thanks from Russia
Right on. Already took the grill off LOL.
Keep on, keeping on brother.
I can confirm, I own a c1500 single stepside and I checked and it was there, replaced with the whole unit and peaked inside and poof another new orifice tube was installed already!
Thank you man saved me alot of time great video
You're welcome. Glad this video helped.
Thank you very much for the information.

Thank you, I'm replacing my compressor, and wanted to change the orifice too.

You're welcome.
Thanks ur video helped a lot. I’ve got a ‘94 GMC Sierra. Also where did u find or get that brush guard at?
I'm glad it helped. I found my brush guard at a salvage yard. You can find alot of good stuff at a salvage yard.
The Mad Hillbilly Customs thx much. I find a lot at the salvage yards as well. Did u have to do any fab work for it to fit right or was it a direct fit?
I had to drill into the bumper to bolt it on.
The Mad Hillbilly Customs ah ok thanks much
Do you recall what size these nuts are? I’ve already tried about a half a dozen open ended wrench’s, both standard and metric, and none of them seem right?
Hey where’d you get the bull bar?
I bought it at a salvage yard.
