    Very rugged area. Many years since we were there. Weren’t any ATVs or Ziplines then. Accommodations were lovely. Great to see all the area gain. Thanks for the video.

    When we lived in Calgary we visited the Radium Valley often and in all seasons. One of the more beautiful areas of BC. Retired to the Island which isn’t shabby either. Great video and narrative.

    Diving into the cold water before going into the hot springs is referred to as Making a Swedish Snowball. It is usually done jumping into the snow.

    I don't think there's any part of the Kootenay region I've been that I didn't find overwhelmingly beautiful. Did you see any of the bighorn sheep wandering around town in Radium? When I was there the main hot pool was closed as they were repairing support walls. Everyone was using the secondary pool. Had a good laugh at the plunge pool - Matt's done in a few seconds, while poor Karla is there closer to a minute. Should you get the chance to try out Halcyon Hot Springs you'll probably find that to be gorgeous, although it's a bit of a drive to get there.

      Yeah its true. Such a beautiful place. We did see some hanging out on the edge of the cliff. Where is Halcyon?

    • @robatsea2009
      @robatsea2009 2 года назад

      @@MustDoCanada Halcyon is on upper Arrow Lake, between Nakusp and Revelstoke. It's an extremely scenic location. Not sure if they are doing it in 2022 but Radium had a "Headbangers" festival each November that was all about the bighorn sheep ramming into one another lol. When I was there I went for a walk in town, and passed a couple of them out strolling around a side street.

      Just south of Fairmont is a small town called 'Canal Flats' If you keep driving south a few kms past Canal Flats, there's a turn-off to Lussier Hot Springs. 5 rock hot pools 'out-in-the-wild'!!!!! SURREAL! Pls go!

    Why did you skip over the fact that Columbia Lake is the head waters of the Columbia River. It built the north west USA and the water powers the Grand Coulee Dam?
