This is one of my favourite takes on a Transformers Combiner. Not only does it manages to look almost identical to its G1 source, but it's also dump this idea that I hate that combiner specific pieces should be separate pieces from the combination team members, without any other functions other than combining, and instead integrates these limbs directly into the bodies of the combination team members themselves, which is something that I really like, even more so than keeping the combination specific parts separate from the combining members, while giving them functions like turning into firearms, or into additional entities to aid the team. Sure, additional team members of turning into firearms is cool, but if you lose some of them, you can't can't form the combination, so it's best to integrate the combination specific parts directly into the bodies of the combination team members. Anyway, thank you so much for bringing up this video about this specific take on the combaticons, Touch Toys, as it's one of my favourite videos of yours, keep up the good work!😊
That is the Mastermind Creations Assaultus. And I bought mine from Big Bad Toy Store. They are making 3 versions of him. G1 colors, G2 colors, and Runation. I hope it helps
Debateable. Devastator as a 6 Bot team would theoretically be more powerful given the extra member adding his power to the gestalt, but his components (Hook, Bonecrusher, Mixmaster, Long Haul, Scrapper and Scavenger) are all built for construction purposes. Bruticus' components (Onslaught, Brawl, Swindle, Vortex, and Blast-Off) are all built specifically for battle. As we see at the end of the episode, Menasor, who is also a 5 bot team (Motor Master, Wildrider, Dragstrip, Dead End, and Breakdown), easily over powered Bruticus with one punch. Probably due to Megatron designing forcefield tech into the Stunticons so they could out manuever the Autobots and take more punishement from their crazy driving. Still, the Combaticons would have the advantage of superior firepower and fighting ability. Going by that thought, I'd rank the original three Decepticon combiner teams; 1) Bruticus (Sheer Power) 2) Menasor (Versitality and Speed) 3) Devastator (Overall utility) Now, if we add in the other teams from later seasons? The ranking changes too; 1) Abominus (The Terrorcons, Brute Strength, Firepower, and ferocity) 2) Bruticus (Sheer Power) 3) Predaking (Intelligence, skill, power) 4) Menasor (Versitality and Speed) 5) Devastator (Overall Utility) Not sure where we'd put Piranacon/King Poseidon/God Neptune/Riptide (my name for the character, much better than Piranacon - no imagination for that one...), another 6 bot combiner. Adding him in potentially screws up the list, as his components are fiersome creatures like Abominus and Predaking, but limited as their best in undersea battles and not as strong on land or in the air. Tough call, really... But that's just my opinion.
Always struck me as odd too. My headcannon usually has him as a Stealth Bomber, and renamed Silence. Specializing in covert opps/assasinations. When combining into Bruticus, his long wings then become a Reaper Scythe for Bruticus to use as a weapon. Thoughts?
Good to see this one back up, this combiner always impressed me with the way all the combine-mode parts were built in!

my favorite video is back! thank you! 🍻
i discovered lucky tapes thanks to you! excellent music taste
All the modes look G1 accurate. Amazing!
Blast off is always the oddball IMO. I mean a dwarf space shuttle among military vehicles 😂
True, they need to just Retcon his alt mode into a VTOL jet and rename him 'Lift Off', he'd fit so much better with the team.
Welcome back touch toys ❤️
I have to wonder, what toy company designed these G1 Transformer toys to have such an amazing transformation gimmicks?
The first and original Combiner force
