Brings back the Feels! I played this back when it came out early 90s! Later got the JPN version online… my roommate and I loved this game so much! Can someone explain why the hanging skeletons are so huge?!

Encerio el mejor? Lo haz jugado sin sensura además los gringos lo censuraron por ser violento y en japonés solo compara el intro con el mismo pero en Version japonésa y te va a gustar más además en el intro le pegan al príncipe y en este lo censuran como el final con el jaffar

Too bad the western release is censored. I remember the japanese intro showed up the guards beating up the Prince too
European version got censored too. Why would they censoring in US version? There's barely any blood on torture scene.

@@alanwake1105 eu acabei esse jogo agora aos 30 pela primeira vez e posso dizer q esta muito a frente da maioria dos jogos modernos de ps4 ps5 etc fizeram com muito capricho jogo.muito revolucionario para epoca. so tinha jogado o remake do ps2 tmb otimo jogo

I wonder how Konami got the rights to make a game by Brøderbund
Konami didn't make the game, they published the western versions, which were secondary releases.
Arsys was the developer who made this, and it's an improved version of their PC-engine port done earlier. Masaya published the original Japanese release.
TL;DR Konami has nothing to do with any of it.
