The stock tank of an exhaust has a CAT in it, which creates a ton of heat but also quiets the sound quite a bit. A straight through pipe has to have a pretty restrictive DB killer in it to keep the sound level down as it doesn't have the sound reducing qualities of a honeycomb CAT in there. The other thing with these engines one has to recognize is they have a narrow band O2 sensor, and the ECU is set up to keep them as close to a 14.7:1 air fuel ratio as possible in "closed loop mode" which is at the part throttle and cruising RPM zone used the most while riding. More aggressive to full throttle is "safely rich" from the factory, but the bike hardly gets operated at those settings, 14.7 is lean as Hell and like Hell itself, it creates a lot of heat. Just adding a can doesn't hurt anything but it also won't do much for power although it is still beneficial as it sounds much better, and it gets rid of a good amount of weight and that furnace like heat from the stock exhaust's CAT. Tune these big singles with an O2 sensor eliminator dongle, a PC6 with a good map with a proper 13.2 AFR in mind in combo with a can like this and they run much cooler, the bottom end fills in nicely, they become much more creamy and responsive to part throttle inputs, and they make truly epic amounts of power. So what I am saying is don't stop now, a beast awaits if you keep on going down the tuning rabbit hole that you entered with this nice exhaust here 😆
Wow thank you for all this really valuable info I will definitely look into it and see how it handles, looking at how it can be further improved! Its going to be sick!
This is the best one I've heard yet for any exhaust. It sounds 1000 times better and it looks 1 million times better!!! Bravo!!! So if I do this modification and absolutely nothing else, do I have to tune it? It sounds like no from reading the comments. Thank you for anybody that can confirm this.
Good to see you are enjoying modding your motorcycle,,pipe definitely improved the sound 👍☘️ from northern Ireland,, good quality products,Arrow produce
Hi there! I will check what the part number is however when it comes to this exhaust at least it is capable of being used on both the KTM and Husqy as well. The link pipe was bought separately however in it's instructions it says it can also be used on both the KTM and Husqy counterparts.

Thanks man i really appreciate it
Sounds awesome. How loud is the Arrow? I like quiet-ish pipes and keeping neighbors happy.
Hey! It is awesome and isn't too loud if you keep the db-killer in. Definitely useable in neighbourhoods and won't upset anyone too much.
Great vid, where would you get the exhaust from?
Hey! The exhaust was ordered directly from our nearest dealer however it can also be purchased online and delivered depending on where you live!

Which model of exhaust is it?
Great video!! Awesome sound!!
Im glad you enjoyed! It is great. I will try find the documentation of the exhaust.
Thank you!
Ich interessiere mich dafür, um welches Modell es sich handelt 😁
Am I right in thinking you had to buy the link pipe in order to make it fit on the 700? Or did you remove a piece from the stock setup that I missed?
Hello! At 2:30 you can see me inserting the unboxed link pipe which is purchased separately. Hope this helped.
Did it make any difference with power delivery or just sound?
very helpful! what was your seat of the pants performance result? I am also adding the fueling dongle
Can you tell us the part number for the silencer and link pipe please. The KTM 690 and Husky 701 have different part numbers

@@myxchine thank you. I'll wait and see the part numbers
What is the part number of the exhaust and link pipe please?
Hi there. Please feel free to send me a DM on Instagram @myxchine and I’ll get back to you as soon as possible! 🔻
what is exhaust weight difference?
The stock exhaust is around 6kg and from what I've seen this exhaust is roughly a kilogram or two lighter. It looks a lot smaller and I love the look!
Sounds like a sexy lawn mover (i have the 701)
Its the sexiest lawnmower haha!
Bet you could rent the old pipe out has a 1 bedroom apartment it was that big Lol
Haha I like that one if you’re looking for a place to stay hit me up!
@@myxchine way things are going bud we'll be all moving in Lol 🤣
Arrow is too loud, I prefer stock exhaust , but too heavy
Sound bad, performance worse...-6ps
