    Fantastic!! Can't tell you how long I've looked for a video like this. Your explanation of the "heavy" 12k front is EXACTLY what I've been looking for!! Thank you very much!!!

    i make my most money on inoperative trucks. so many people give up on them because of high shop repair costs. we do all our work our self. so we can do a lot more. i am so happy i found your channel. you do a lot of the same things we do. look forwards to seeing more! subbed!

    Drove a truck eith a Chalmers. Extremely stable. The ride was actually pretty good. The other drivers said the same thing. Prefer it over most air rides

      @@AJ-zg7sc ya it's weird....I drove some four spring Reyco that were great and drove some that would put you thru the roof....guess there are many factors......I didn't expect the truck I drove with the ,Chalmers to be good at all..but it was

    Cool build. Hey that Blue /green cab in the background looks like a Peterbilt 579. What is that cab extension on it?

      @DaycabDaycabs  Год назад

      Hi Tony . Yes that cab was a prototype for Peterbilt that our company built. It is being released in 2022 as the Extended Cab across all Peterbilt models. It is really cool gives you 10” more cab room and move the seat back 2” at the base. There are some photos on our Facebook.
      I’m about to finish that charmers project.

    Just curious if the Cummins spun the front drive gear? My Pete 388 tow truck blew its x15 at 65k 😭

      When I got it the motor was full of antifreeze this motor was probably the worst of them. It’s getting a Detroit in January.

      @@Freedom37854 I never noticed. But then again all my trucks are Macks Kenworths and Western stars.
      I am curious about that bracket Mount and the torque rods that you put on top of the housing.

      Got to get those walking beams some how. Way better than spring. There is some nice system available but you can’t get retro kits.
