Spike choosing to take coins from Dan instead of Mario just because Dan was within Star buying range is one of the few actually smart moves the hard AI have pulled off.
It’s game grumps, it’s either they endlessly drag a series to exhaustion or briefly play it than never touch it again despite it being what everybody wants

In fact, I find it to be the easiest indicator of any system, considering that it has nothing to do with a letter or number or color but instead a static position. Arin had no reason to use the creepy die on Dan, there was no way for Dan to reach the star. If he'd used it on Mario, Mario had a 1/3 chance of landing on the Bowser space AND not using Boo. Fantastic. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
To go one step further whether that worked or not, without the creepy dice, Dan could have then used his item shop warp box to get a 50% chance of landing at the far shop and then he was a short dice roll away from accessing Boo and stealing a star himself. It was his only chance at getting a star in the last turn at that point.
You've forgotten about Mario's Custom Dice (which they probably did as well) If he used it on Mario, Mario would've had a ZERO percent chance because he'd probably use the item to negate it.

I could tell from two rounds away that Mario was going to steal Dan's star. The only thing that could've saved him was actually losing the mini game against Spike. But even then, Mario would still win. Only way to actually stop him would be for Arin to curse him instead of Dan.
Them both not paying attention and Arin not cursing Mario to even try to prevent him from getting to Boo drove me crazy. No forethought, no strategy, just only looking 2 feet in front of themselves.
It wouldn't have worked, anyways. Mario's Custom Dice block would have canceled out the Cursed Dice Block's effect. Mario kind of checkmated them with that one.
I find it funny in the first episode they were like “there’s no way 10 turns will take 90 minutes.” Episode 1: 28 minutes Episode 2: 28 minutes Episode 3: 25 minutes Total 81 minutes.
And even if you take out the time they took to set up and the “last time on game grumps” segments you’re still at like 75 minutes. Mario Party is not a quick game.
Not only did Dan beat Arin at a golf minigame, but then Arin started spamming a voiceline with the reactions. It's like they're playing a golf game all over again.
Dan putting the watermelons right up at the top of the apple conveyor belt so that Mario couldn't possibly grab them in time was such a...well, it was quite an oblivious Arin-style moment for him, frankly. XD

Arin's Toad voice is so convincing that it's one of the few where I genuinely forget it's him talking. My brain just sort of determines Toad to be his own third entity, going off-script just because he can.
Two Classic Game Grumps moments: -Arin negging Dan for not knowing which turn it was after not, himself, knowing the turn earlier the same episode -Arin not playing the game because he was thinking about dough efficiency and waste That's my boys!
I liked this stage. It ended up being funnier than I expected it to be and I like the options for the easier boards as they're often quicker experiences but just as funny even when my family would play them we often never played the more difficult stages as there was too much for all of us to keep track of and I don't remember individual moments but Mario party I recall fondly since the N64 days. I really like the second one and my sister and I played that a ton and Mario party 5 is the other one we all played as a family with my dad.

Arin being SO mad when he didn't get coins from the lucky space when he could've gone to the right, landed on the blue space to get 12 coins, then gotten literally just 3rd place in the minigame to afford the pipe that way... better yet, he could've bought the double dice to try and roll high enough next turn to make it back around to the shop that way, thereby also getting 10 coins for passing koopa. then he'd have an even better shot at affording the pipe AND the star when he uses it
Last episode Dan said he was happy in a tone that sounded like a man just got the, “you’re going to be a dad” news. Are you Dan!? Are you going to be a dad!? Will this finally be the time Arin kisses a dad!? A Dand if you will
I know he probably won’t share a pregnancy until after the fact (if his wedding is anything to go by) and I fully respect his privacy with his personal life but man he wants to be a dad so bad I really hope he gets that wish 🥰
i find it very interesting that Dan can't remember which button is which on any controller produced after 1994 but he's an absolute wizard at a tilty joy-con motion control minigame
I mean in the last two Mario parties I think they had like some cutscene where an enemy comes out and kills the people in 4th and 3rd place. It then looks at the last two people and acts like it’s about to kill person who got first place, and then actually kills the 2nd place person. Kinda gets tiring so I’m glad they got rid of it.
