All-wheel steering, a great design, 53,000 euros for the most expensive version, but a small engine. I see it as a good deal
First
I've found all Renault Espace ugly as night so far - this new one suits my taste perfectly and would suit us in terms of space - BUT - why only 1600kg towing capacity?
The engine... Given the weight, the engine has to deliver far too much for the displacement, adding more towing capacity to it would have killed the car. I don't expect the car to last long when driving it with 7 people and towing something behind.
I drive the E-Space and am completely satisfied with it apart from one thing. I didn't want a sporty car but a comfortable one that's what it is. It's also not noisy and the way the engine system generates electricity is the same as others. It's a nice car, but the "only 3-cylinder" engine is noticeable for me. Given the weight, the engine has to deliver far too much for the displacement.
