Yes, the ACS-64 monitors all doors, including the its own doors. "Traction Blocked" is indicated to the engineer. The engineer will check the doors of the locomotive and request the Conductor and all Assistant Conductors to check the consist doors. When all doors are properly closed, then "traction blocked" indication is removed and tractive effort is restored. Good video.
