  • This week we introduce the newly designed ‪@RPMPowersports‬ blow off valve V2. It works on the Rzr Pro Xp, Turbo R and the Rzr Turbo Xpt. It's an updated version of their already great blow off valve.

What happens when the filter gets wet or submerged

Nothing happens when it’s wet (both versions) I’ve never had it submerged, I think the clutch housing would take on water before the bov does. If I remember right rpm claims it would be fine. You could always re-circulate if water is a concern.

Does it leak under light load like the original one does?

      Yes

The springs will dictate that. The new kit has 3 springs. But keep in mind the “leak” isn’t a leak. It’s just vacuum lifting the valve while the machine is under vacuum, no boost pressure. You do not want to overcome the vacuum pressure otherwise you’ll be forcing the valve closed before it expels all the boost pressure.

If they made a new one! It’s got to mean the first one sucks! Or they just getting our money!

Nothing wrong the first one, they just redesigned and improved. They’re not telling people to get rid of the original and get this one.
