I have a bit axe already running 24/7. I want to run that to my own node if possible and also home mine the btc. I know if I use the Apollo in solo mining, my chances are slim to hit an actual block. How are you using yours if you don’t mind sharing?
@ I also have a few bitaxes, I have the ultra, nerdaxe , supra, , hex and suprahex, I skipped the gamma , and might get the gamma hex if they make one all solo mining to my own node 💪🏽
@@bimao84 no , once you turn it on and connect it to the internet it will stay working once its on , it will give you a IP address so you can check on it anytime
@ I would get one….. if you live alone..why? It can get loud if you don’t have proper air flow, the sound of the fans can get annoying honestly, I keep mine in a spare bedroom with the window open so it stays cool and the fan won’t ramp up because the room is hot ,💪🏽
Hey thanks for this. is exactly what I wanted to see. can you please show if while using it on ECO there is any resources left to browse the web, email.... Please show the full node in another video and how that can be integrated to a wallet, ledger for example. that will be the full "ecosystem". Can you update the underlying OS Ubuntu? can you install software / apps? Thanks again.
Hello ,it only has 4 gig of ram and it jumps up to 3.4 gig sometimes, so I would not use this as a pc ,,, but you still can if you want , I just uploaded another video showing the full node ,check it out , yes you can update in the software and or flash the sd card ,I think you can instill apps because its a full linux desktop, thanks again for watching and asking questions , much love..
@@RandomRomanTV hey, one more question if I can. how difficult is to update BTC Core node? I see in the video is running an old version. who will be updating the BTC core node? thanks again.
@ hey it’s easy , you can do the update from the dashboard over the internet or you can flash your SD card , I have a few Apollo 2 and I kept this one with the old dashboard because the new update removed some info , anyways there’s a new update that came out yesterday maybe I’ll make a video on it 🧐💪🏽
One more thing is that once it’s connected to the internet and the blockchain is synchronized it will work , the update is just stuff to the dashboard and bug fixes and stuff like that
Hi what os you use on your computer? Tails or ubuntu?
Linux, I think it’s Ubuntu
Can you see the data running from your phone when you're not at home
If you can remote into your internet router then yes you can see all on in and get the ip address and log in
Do you need to turn on the lan switch for ethernet cable or just run your cat6 or cat6a to the router
@@Sal.Ruiz426 once you plug in the Ethernet cable it will work automatically or wifi will work also right out the box
Appreciate the info
How much electricity do you think you use each month running NODE? I paid 23 cents a kilowatt
@@brettsiciliano2037 I honestly don’t know but it pulls , about 185-200 watts in echo mode/low power mode at the wall if that info helps
Is this strictly a lotto type miner, Or will it actively mine btc?
@@jimdarby419 you can pool mine as well , if you don’t want to solo mine

Can it run on wifi? And does it run on 2G or 5G?
@@brettsiciliano2037 it works with wifi and Ethernet, on 2g wifi not sure about 5g
