This is great for Ahmed Best. He was almost bullied and harrassed in to commiting suicide. Glad he is now immortalized as the Jedi Master in charge of training younglings is the one that saved Grogu.
Order 66 is the scene with the most gravitas in Star Wars history except maybe considering Luke and Vader and Darth Sidious on Death Star II or Luke vs Vader on Bespin. So any time that we go back to something related to Order 66 and what happened at this time... it really affects me and I believe most big Star Wars fans. Amazing episode.
Tbh I had no idea who that was initially & was kinda underwhelmed… then I saw the credits & realized who that was & was like, okay… that’s pretty damn cool. Happy for him after all the shit he got for Jar Jar.
Well she said: "One sees many visions when they walk the way of the Mandalore". I'm almost sure that's the reason she even has people watch her forge. I bet she does that regularly, she's like a shaman or a priest for her covert, since armour is a major religious component for them and she's literally the Armorer. It happened with Din, it happened with Grogu, she probably thought that's what happened with Bo Katan and that's why she was talking about the Mythosaur
@@duck-ew5zs well she didn't actually see any flashbacks right? Maybe it's because she's not actually walking the Way, she's just kind of there for the time being. She's not a full convert.

"I thought Carl Weathers did an amazing job of telling a character centric storyline through multiple characters within seconds for this half hour episode" - well, you were wrong
I think the Armorer response was basically her saying, "YOU need to figure out what that means to you". The Armorer already believes that the Mythosaur will herald the rise of their people, and she knows who Bo-Katan is. This is something Bo needs to figure out for herself. She failed before because the answer (Darksaber) was handed to her and not earned. This time the needs to earn the answer for herself, and in doing so, she will learn the IDEALS that truly unite their people.
yeah, she was kinda like "Of course you can use the mythosaur.... now... can you do what you want to do WITHOUT the mythosaur?" it's like a layered subtext.

For the shortest episode in the entire series (so far) they did a good job packing a lot of action in-between showing the Mando lifestyle as well as the super important Grogu flashback.
The episode was a lot of fun. I'm intrigued by the use of the Naboo starship and what it might mean for where Grogu ends up, but loved how that reused the same flashback trigger as we saw for Din's childhood in S1. Feels like the father and foundling situation could be a reason for Vizla and Din to have a less tense relationship which may have significance later, but that's possibly where the story moved too quickly and needed some breathing space.
I love how they are focusing on the growth of the creed. From the beginning of the show, I feel like it is so similar to an open-world video game. They are doing some random quests and meanwhile becoming stronger, smarter and relationships are getting more complex. It's such pleasure to watch it.
Loved the set up that Grogu can't get a helmet until he can speak the creed aloud. With the unsubtle hints that he is trying to speak, I would not be shocked if Grogu gets his helmet at the end of the season.

Paz Vizsla landing dick first into that boulder was one of the most unintentionally funny things I've ever seen in Star Wars 😂 Great episode Thanks for the reaction
They completed their rescue of the poor Kid, THE NEXT DAY. When Bo said around the campfire, we'll get going in the morning, I practically fell out of my chair. 😂

I go back to where we see Bo Katan first in the Clone Wars, which btw it took 2 seasons for some one to even acknowledge Bo's name and relationship to Satine. It took a while to realise that was Ahmed Best, I knew it was an important person because they focused on him but I had to think about it and then I screamed "Jar Jar Bink's!!" at the TV. I honestly started crying my eyes out because I was 10 years old when Episode 1 came out and I loved Jar Jar Bink's as a kid but I remember the intense abuse the character and Actor was getting in the past (Actually, Hayden Christensen and young Anakin got a lot of abuse aswell) , I saw the documentary where Ahmed Best explained that he got so depressed that he considered suicide 😭😭😭😭💔💔💔, I am so happy he got to play the Jedi that saved Grogu! We love you Jar Jar Bink's, I am so happy for you ❤️❤️❤️.
This episode was SO GOOD!!!!! I swear The Mandalorian is the only Star Wars Show that I am fully committed to watching. I should catch up on Bad Batch, and I still need to watch Andor. I’ve got a lot to watch.
A grogu flashback was inevitable, interesting direction that Bo is going in. Sorry if i keep on bothering you guys about this, but are you planning on reacting to superman and lois season 3? The first 2 episodes are out.
Jar Jar Binks definitely saved Grogu, and I don't mean Ahmed Best as Kelleran Beq. That Naboo cruise ship belongs to a Senator from Naboo, and the guards along with it. There were 3 people from Naboo elected in the Senate at the time of Order 66. Palpatine, Padme and Jar Jar. Palpatine obviously is not the one, Padme was too busy following Anakin to Mustafar right after the attack on the Jedi Temple and Jar Jar was the only one who could be around helping Jedi, after he signed the Petition of 2000, placing himself against the formation of the Galactic Empire
Like the Methasure and others from the time of the ancient Mandarins to the Mandalorian wars, those 3 raptor chicks are to be trained as the new generation of Mandolorian war beasts.
I’m thinking now that the Armorer is more of the “Merlin”-type character, one that Bo-Katan can confide in rather than be a rival to the leadership of the Mandos. The A has the wisdom and knowledge of mandalorian history/culture but has no aspirations to lead. So it may be more a question of who is the “Arthur” of this story, Bo or Din?
To be honest, I think The Armorer knows the Mythosaur is in the Living Waters and is wink wink, nod nodding Bo Katan. The few times she has poured water into her quench for crafting armor it did the mystical glow of the Living Waters and was the confirmation Din and Bo had bathed in it. It stands to reason, she's visited the ravaged Mandalore, went to the mines and also bathed/saw the Mythosaur and has kept this secret.
Grogu has serious PTSD and the inability to communicate it. I worry for his mental health. Big things being eaten by bigger things is a favorite Star Wars visual trope and never grows old. I have now seen everything I need to see about the forging of Beskar for a while. Seriously. Great job by Mr. Weathers.
I love this episode so many good character moments. It's so weird, but I was weirdly happy seeing all the different Mandalorians when they were training. Just seeing all their different unique colored armors made me smile. It truly is a Boba Fett fan's wet dream haha
Once the elevator opened and I saw it was Ahmed Best I was hecka pumped! I knew who it was right away. Dude deserved to have an awesome role like this after all the crap he went through as Jar Jar.
You guys actually trying out the products at the beginning of the video was hilarious😂😎😎 definitely going to get it on paid day. I’ve been looking for a new trimmer
Awesome episode. Loved seeing Ahmed Best as Keilleran Beq. Not sure of the spelling. Now we need to learn how Grogu got from Naboo to where Din found him in season 1
I, 65 years old long time fan, had a blast, it was a fun episod and my 5 year old grandchild thought it was soooo exciting and a little spooky but afterward we had a verry good feeling=Star Wars😅😍😂
I just love Greg aggressively shaving John 😂. This episode was amazing, respect for Ahmed after all these years!!! Epic chases and order 66 was very emotional. Din being an encouraging father while Grogu trains, wholesome😂. I think temura voiced the clones, if so, brilliant. Was it just me or was that Mando’s helmet eavesdropping on Bo at the end, like barely visible in the last frame, if it’s Mando there’s definitely gonna be some tension next episode
Kelleran Beq. Amazing action sequence, loved seeing him dual wielding lightsabers to defeat half a dozen clone troopers. Hope we will see him again, either on Mandalorian, Ashoka or other series. It was great to see another Jedi survive the initial purge. Welcome back Ahmad Best! ♥
I love this full circle moment. Ahmed went through so much with his role as Jar jar. And overcoming all that and getting this moment. Bless filoni and crew. ❤
Now what will Bo Katan`s next action? Will she reunite the scattered Mandalorians? Will she follow the way of the Mandal'ore? Too many paths as there are still 4 episodes left (I'm just assuming that S3 will have 8 episodes).
I had an odd thought... Given the little one had flashbacks when the forge was operating the same way Din did in season 1... what if everyone who sits there watching the forge work goes through that. Some self reflection on the past. What if -- though they didn't show it to us -- the same happened for Bo? Much akin to Boba's "peyote" trip.
A Rondel is a round protection piece of armor that is attached to an armor's helmet, breastplate, couter-elbow, and/or gauntlet; and in this case would be the chestplate for Grogu's beskar armor
loved this episode sm. Imagine though during the flashback scene when the jedi turn to the other hallway the see a hooded jedi with a blue lightsaber flanked by the 501st coming towards them. it wouldn’t show anakins face cus we’d already know. the jedi stay behind to hold them off while grogu gets to the elevator. would’ve been so sick.
Seeing ahmed best made me so happy man, he never deserved any of the jar jar binks hate. Love that they made his character from jedi temple challenge even bigger and also getting all this love now.
Bo will challenge for the Dark Saber but she’ll do it honorably. Not sure she’ll win, but she has to try and I think she’ll be supported by all to do it.
I loved this episode so much! It was so great to be able to watch another new episode of this show again. I felt like everything about it was just so amazing in every aspect. The the story, the action and the interactions between the characters made this episode even more amazing. I also loved the score for this episode, it gave us both that classic Mandalorian theme that we love and some new more mystical themes. I loved all the scenes where Mando talks to Grogu, especially when he enters Grogu into the contest. And the set design for the locations in this was so amazing. Whether it was the planet the Mandalorians were on or Coruscant they just looked so real and lived in through out the entire thing. I really liked seeing Grogu in that children’s contest, especially because of how we got to see him mix his Jedi training with Mandalorian weaponry. It was cool to see Bo-Katan adapting to this new way of life through out the episode, especially because of how we know that she doesn’t much care for it. And to see her helping them out out by tracking down the beast and leading the hunt was also pretty cool. And it was also really cool to get to see the group of Mandos walking through the desert, working together to journey to the nest. And I loved the scene between The Armorer and Grogu. Not only because of how it perfectly parallels Din’s visits to the Armorer in season one, but also because of how she has officially accepted this Jedi child as a Mandalorian foundling. Now, I’ve got to talk about that crazy incredible flashback that Grogu had. We have once again gotten another Order 66 scene, but not only was this one from Grogu’s perspective but it was at the Jedi Temple. It was amazing to get to see the Jedi and the 501st Clones fighting through the halls of the temple. And then we finally, after years of speculation get the reveal of who saved Grogu from the Jedi Temple on the night of Order 66, and it was none other then Ahmed Best as Jedi. This was such an incredibly huge surprise, but a welcome one. And it was so awesome to get to see him taking down all those Clones (more than any of the other Jedi in this episode did) one after the other. And it was also super awesome to see the chase through the streets of Coruscant especially because it gave us a look at some live action Republic Gunships and some more live action Clone Troopers. I really hope that we get to see more of the story between the Ahmed Best Jedi and Grogu somewhere down the line. The fight between the Mandalorians and that flying beast was really cool, getting to see all those Mandalorians working together using all different types of weapons and fighting techniques to try and bring down the monster was super cool. And it was awesome to see one of those Alligator monsters from the first episode of the season come out of the water and eat it. And I found the ending scene between The Armorer and Bo-Katan to be very interesting. Because although Bo-Katan admitted to her about seeing a Mythosaur the Armorer did not believe her, whether because it goes against their beliefs or because she herself simply cannot believe something like that to be true. I also wonder if now that Bo-Katan has told the Armorer of what she saw, will she tell Din next, or still keep it from him. I really just loved this episode so much. It was so amazing in every aspect and served as a great action packed thriller. I am super curious to see where the rest of the story will lead the Mandalorian and Grogu and what will happen in next week’s episode. This is the Way
Me being a giant How To Train Your Dragon nerd, am I the only one that noticed the Raptors cries and roars sounded similar to Toothless and a Monstrous Nightmare?
Maybe Grogu should build a lightsaber training Orb. Those things could be used as something to supplement their booster backpacks. Most padawans are thought how to build those Orbs. Don't understand how she has a supply of the Living Waters for decades unless she returns to Mandalore and actually get it regularly or she has a big tank of that Living Water. As for forging Beskar steel, the Living Water is hypersaturated with dissolved gas. I can only assume that gas is from natural radiation byproduct like Deuterium/Tritium and the Living Water fills out the holes in the Iron alloys in the forging of Beskar Steel. So the Living Waters makes any regular Iron into Beskar steel when its forged&cooled with it.
Grogu is definitely Yoda and Yaddle's kid. The amount of effort those Jedi put into saving him gives the impression that they were doing it specifically for Yoda. Since Yoda was on Kashyyyk. Idk if that makes sense but it makes sense in my head. Like Grogu was their number 1 priority because he was the son of the greatest Jedi Master that they know. So it's like extremely honorable to risk their life to save him.
So I took the Armorer's last comment to signify that Bo returning to the 'True Way' allowed her to be able to see that the Mythosaur was real. Not as much that she didn't believe her.

Andor was the sleeper hit last year across all genres...The writing the acting the cinematography was top tier
Amazes me how they can now match the corruscant visual stuff from 20 years ago in a TV show now.
Grogu escaping with the Jedi reminded me of Harry Potter & Hagrid in Deathly Hallows on the motorbike. Even had a tunnel sequence.
My thoughts exactly!!He even pulled a Hagrid move in the oncoming traffic!
Harry Potter? Gay. Prefer to keep that soy separate from my mandalorian
@@krycissjohnquincygrizzlysa1162 Get a life
The flashbacks grogu sees are just like the ones Dinn (Pedro) has in the first season when the armored is making new armor for him
A grogu flashback was inevitable, interesting direction that Bo is going in.
And name them Viserion, Raegal and Drogon and let Bo Katan ride Drogon to make it more epic....hehehe. :p
Can't wait til we get to see Heisenberg ride the Methasaur
@@BoglinZilla aw yes! The elusive methasure, sadly hunted to extinction by the DEA
I wonder how long they had to spend cleaning up turtlegator guts before they could use the beach for training
Bo took the moment to look around before taking her helmet off...which means that even a little bit of her is accepting the ways.
Watching Mandalorian and then coming here after each episode is awesome!!
Bo is learning what a Mando truly is outside of the artificial life of the court. She's changing for the good
I’m thinking now that the Armorer is more of the “Merlin”-type character, one that Bo-Katan can confide in rather than be a rival to the leadership of the Mandos.
"It looks like someone was on a Walmart scooter and hit the gas too hard" I can't help thinking of ryan george when the drive those pods
Kelleran Beq saving Grogu is a nice little homage nodding to Saw Gerrera saved little Jyn Erso in Rogue One.
I, 65 years old long time fan, had a blast, it was a fun episod and my 5 year old grandchild thought it was soooo exciting and a little spooky but afterward we had a verry good feeling=Star Wars😅😍😂
"He must have been at least mangled by that."
Dude that killed me dead.
I thought it was a nice sublle reference back to the previous episode when they flew past the rock on coruscant that is the tip of the highest peak.
Imagine Grogu wielding the darksaber, killing foundlings. 👀
Nooooo! Hell slay stormtroopers with it
Kelleran Beq.
MY MAN JAR JAR!!NOT A SECRET GUNGAN-SITH,BUT A JEDI??!❤
Grogu training already as a baby! This is like Sparta!
I think Carl Weathers (Greef Karga) directed this one
Honestly when i saw the "pterodactyl" fight....all i could hear is "Stan? " "Waddles!" and "he's punching a dinosaur"
Seeing Grogu waddle the way he does will make me giddy every single time.
I always thought Grogu was the "Mandalorian" on the title, but I just realized that Din is always referred to as "The Mandalorian" on the subtitles.
They finally did Ahmed Best right!! Loved it!! Watching him save Grogu gave me the same vibe as Luke taking out the Dark Troopers.
For those who didnt know
Kelleran Beq is the Jedi Master that appeared in the Children's Game show Star Wars: Jedi Temple Challenge
The shots in this episode 😍
Hearing the gunship engine sounds again was so great and nostalgic
Literally my favorite thing in the world
Bo will challenge for the Dark Saber but she’ll do it honorably.
Didn't even realize it was Ahmed during the episode. Went to Reddit and did a double take when I saw his name lol
Ahmed Best is truly THE Best. Glad to see him thriving.
I like how they say “this guys awesome” without knowing it’s Jar Jar
They gave Ahmed the role he deserved. He is literally one of the coolest Jedi in such little screen time
I'm sure that Abmed Best is happier being known as a Jedi than Jar Jar.
