    This broke my heart. I didn't know Jarid Wilson but he was a brother in christ and there are so many Pastors that are struggling. Lord enable us discern and support our Pastors emotionally and mentally! Everything you said is spot on.

    My heart is grieved for his family. I pray the Lord brings great comfort to them in their distress. My hope is that the Church would awaken to this and many other crises in our culture, that no struggle would be taboo. May we come alongside those who are in difficult places and share the transforming love and light of Christ.

    I'm hoping and praying that the Lord will take this tragic event and use it to wake the church up about mental illness. The church for far too long has swept this under the rug. The mentally ill need our compassion. They need our love and support. There is so much evidence on how many ignorant Christians there are in the church. In light of this past event from saying people who commit suicide are in hell, taking scripture out of context and saying they weren't a Christian to begin with. The church needs to get it's act together.

    This is a powerful take. But it’s not just Pastors, it’s an issue with Christian men. Christian men feel like failures in this country, like they’ve let everyone down including God, and thus run out of hope. More Jesus, more prayer, more love 🙏

    Instead of being in the limelight Wilson should have been a humble follower seeking help instead of trying to lead thousands within the megachurch. How did Greg laurie and others not see that? People obviously knew about his problems. The big shots around Jarrid failed him.

      Laurie is incredibly responsible for this. He needs to resign. Seriously.

    It is so confusing to have coming from a pastor saying Jesus doesnt heal depression. Bit Jesus heals everything. But im dad that his condition wasnt addressed in his.ministry simply maybe because people knew he was steing since he, himself.minister on people with the same.condition as his. Its so sad knowing a pastor can do that. How can a depressed Christian be healed and get hope after that incident? Jesu help us all.

    Jarrid was removed by Elohim. Let's get real. You guys are losing it because you're in idolatry. You pray to Jesus which is strictly forbidden. You teach a lot of anti-Torah behavior and God keeps His word. Elohim is a measure for measure God. Read.
    Lev 26;27-28 And if ye will not for all this hearken unto me, but walk contrary unto me; 28 *Then I will walk contrary unto you* also in fury; and I, even I, will chastise you seven times for your sins.
    Psalm 11:5 The Lord tests the righteous, but his soul hates the wicked and the one who loves violence.
    Elohims says choose THIS day good or evil. This rebel spoke against Elohim's word defending tattoos and who knows what else. He walked contrary to Elohim and paid the price.

      MrArtist1971 you are being so disrespect and insensitive to the life of Jarrid, his family, those who are hurting and grieving his death. Don’t judge what you don’t understand, and use your religion as a platform for legalistic preaching and some sort of twisted justification at a time such as this. Have some common human respect and decency.

    • @MrArtist1971
      @MrArtist1971 5 лет назад +2

      @@amandaschield5247 No disrespect intended but God commands us to judge our neighbor. If we don't then we'll go the way of someone like Jarrid. Lev. 19;15 Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment: thou shalt not respect the person of the poor, nor honor the person of the mighty: but in righteousness shalt thou judge thy neighbour. Your NT teaches the opposite and this is heresy. If you start asking questions regarding this and many, many other ways the NT contradicts God's Torah then watch your church ask you to leave. It happens everyday. They won't discuss it because they can't refute it. Legalistic? No, it's the real truth. I just lost two parents and Christianity utterly destroyed their lives completely. It's unbelievable. So while I can appreciate the family's loss I have to point out to everyone that God's instruction and commandments are eternal and He says they do not end. There is only one covenant. Only one. The only twisted justifications are the Christians all coming up with every possible reason other than the truth of what really happened in Jarrid's life. Read Deut. 28 and you'll see very clearly what happened with him and everyone that doesn't follow God alone.
