I'm a proud Dana employee, we've built the best mass produced axles in the world for a very long time. People can say what they want but Dana's are the staple of off roading axles. Dana Pride!!
Hey Nathan I'm putting a build together for a customer for an 2011 jku. My question is wheel size. We are going to run a pro comp trilogy pro beadlock with a 4.75 bs -6 offset. Do u have any idea if these wheels will clear calipers. Tires will be maxxis trep bias in 40 x 13.50. Thank joe
@@shaun4bigblocksllc you're lying to yourself if you think your going to go to any off road park and see more chevy 10.5 than Dana's. Way more common considering we put them in multiple trucks from multiple manufactures including the Chevy Colorado.
Even his gloves say Ultimate Dana 60, that is hard core repping at its finest. Diggin Spicer products, their always the go to on my U Joints and axle kit. What's up with the dislikes? They have to be Yukon fanboys.
I noticed that you didn't true up the rotor faces, I'm just old school. I have been in love with Dana forever, growing up that's what everyone wanted Dana 12 bolts they got hard to find no one wanted to sell them or they wanted to much for them. I'm thinking of going out and buying a Jeep Wrangler unlimited J.K. or L.J. from the salvage yard with or without the drive train, and engine. Put it together Old School but instead of all used parts, now that I'm retired and have more time the money I need to get myself something to occupy my time, knowledge and skills LOL. On another note my condolences for the loss of Jessi Combs I enjoyed watching her on TV she was something else there will be another 🤤💙
Where can I get some of those ultamate dana 60 gloves at also I would like to have some of the stickers I have ultamate 60s on my jeep and would like to have some stickers to put on my jeep
I think it's a great axle... I was wondering if you guys ever think to design the axle like the old Toyota's with the knuckles and the joints inside and not exposed to the elements...
I have a 1970 GMC C20 2WD long bed with leaf springs in the rear. I was wondering if I have a Dana 60 Rear Axle in my truck. It is a 10 Bolt Rear End. It has 7 bolts attaching the Backing Plate to the Axle Housing. It has 12" Drums and they just slide off, no need to remove the Axle first. On the upper passenger side looking at the Diff. Cover it has a code written upside down, it is C-30255 and below that it has 60.
+Ricky McFarland It is definitely a 10 Bolt and looks like it was described above. I have a disc brake conversion on the front. It has Spindles for dis brakes from a 1972 3/4 ton Chevy but it has 9/16" Wheel Studs. The rear end in my truck has 1/2" Wheel Studs. Can Rear Hubs with for 9/16" Wheel Studs be purchased? That is why I am wondering what rear end is in my truck
+707SonomaComa The Rear End in my truck looks just like the one in this picture with the same markings. www.fordification.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=21876 What do you think it is?
are there any Dana 70s or 80s available as a rear axle to complement the ultimate Dana 60 front. if there is I would like to know what the cost of this would be. my purpose for this is to have the extra strength in the rear for towing while running 38 inch tall tires with 4.56:1 gears and ARB air lockers and the L86 6.2l V8 with 8L90e trans.
From what I've found is that they only offer a Dana 60 for the jeep JK. but for the setup your going to run go with Dynatracs. i have them on my JK and absolutely love them. there more expensive but in the long run there way stronger. the Dana 60's Dynatrac uses the Dana 80 pumpkin but with dana 60 tubes and ends.
Wilson Solt for the front I would go with the 2005 super duty. They came standard with dana 60s in the front. You'd have to look up what truck uses the dana 60 in the rear.
I love how companys like this don't include every bolt and nut required for the new axle . Your going to be spending well over 5k for one of theses axles and they can't spring for the bolts and nuts thar you will be replacing when removing the old axles lol
vibration in my K20 at 60 to 65mph when giving it gas, it was full time I changed it to part time, stock no lift, new U-joints, drive line balanced, front drive line removed, I think it;s at about 130K miles. What else should I look for. drums out of round or balance???
Track bar. Trac bar mounting bolts. Or the mounts them selfs. The holes could be ovaled out causing the axle to move slightly left and right causing the vibration.

Nathan West you guys need to make this for a zj 1995 grand cherokee 5.9 with 7 inch long arm lift

A tip: you can watch movies at Flixzone. I've been using it for watching a lot of movies recently.
@Kaden Brody yea, have been using flixzone} for since december myself :D
Mine come next week. Look forward to having them!

I'll take two. just need a YJ version and an LJ version.
Do I need to upgrade the brake booster and master cylinder or do I need to bleed the ABS through dealer ?
I really like these axles!! Very nice video

+707SonomaComa the c20 will most likely be an 14 bolt full float axle, which is actually stronger then a D60

What do you think it is?
+707SonomaComa looks like the rare D60
I was wondering how long it would take for the install on these front and rear 60s.
What brakes are you using? 2005 F250? 2007 F250?
necesito una dana 60 delantero, que precio tiene?
Is Dana 60 suitable for Jeep Gladiator?
Hi @edisonbolivia. Yes, the Dana 60 is suitable for Jeep Gladiator.
Are these axles wheelbase wider than the factory dana 44's? If so, by how much? Thanks in advance!
Can I run the e locker switches to my spod?
How wide are they? Will they fit on a 83x 18ft trailer ?and with the brake upgrade will the 08 master cylinder work or did you replace it

do you have a 5 ton axel
Have my order and should be here shortly.
Joe Roberts how much were the axles?
Roughly 11k
Does the emergency brake cable fit in like the factory?
I heard it doesn't. I think you'll need a longer cable.
no they use the factory parking brake cables
So, hopefully someone can help clarify this for me, are Dana 60’s & 70’s the same as Spicer 60’s & 70’s???
Tony Turner from what I know yes
What about the parking break install?
Whats the minimum rim sizing to fit over the new rotors and calipers?
A 17 should work fine.
JeepJeep234 I would do 17" rims with 35" or 37" tires
What are the brakes off of? Like if I needed new pads what would I say at the parts store?

How much for a wj
Yes please!!!

According to the video, one of the benefits of going with Dana is that you can re-use existing bolts
will the front bolt right in on a cherokee

I put 6 PISTON calipers on my jk from bear
How much I want two
Ryan Clark I think the axles themselves are about $4k each if I remember right
its about 13k for both axles
saving up to put these under my 2011 wrangler !!!!!!!!
Jesus you can bolt in 60s to a jk? How doesn’t everyone now have 60s?
i did my gm dana 60 kingpin and 14 bolt swap into my toyota with 5.38 welded and locker for under 3k
@@shaun4bigblocksllc yes

Cool, but I have an LJ.....
all that work and all them badass parts just to put straps on the yoke...................so dumb
what is abetter option?
Massive unsprung weight, plenty strong I bet.
Ugly welds
how do these compare to dynatrac pro rock 60s??
