Last year I started singing in tongues and the Holy Spirit has given me over 200 beautiful songs since that time. I had asked for the gift of understanding of tongues and so I am very grateful that I always understand the theme of each song, even though I don’t know what the individual words mean. This gift is such a source of JOY to me! I would love to share these songs with others.
My tongues are repetitive. It gets boring to speak it so I'm not inspired to speak it. I dont get it because the Bible says God doesn't like repetition. Thoughts?
No, but if you intentionally ask for the counterfeit tongues, which is a glossolalia babble rather than preaching the gospel in known dialects, which Paul rebuked to the Corinthians, then a door might be opened for the devil to deceive you. Not good to ask for that which the Bible already discourages. All of 1 Corinthians 14 addresses this mystery of unfruitful babbling into the air without understanding.
I had a glorious infilling of the Holy Spirit when I was 15! As I was praying for the exerience, I felt as though I was floating upward. It was so awesome and when I came down-about an hour later, I was speaking in my prayer language. Well, I'm 87 now and still speaking, singing, and praying in tongues! Hallelujah!
Praying 🙏 for everyone reading this. Please seek Jesus before it’s too late! Jesus spoke to me when I was 7 years old, He was there to help me because I was very traumatized, due to the abuse I had endured, by my stepdad. I remember one particular day, staring at my wall, and hearing (audible), “life is a test”. I was so shocked! I remember looking around my room and wondering what just happened! Later that same year, after my Great Grandfather passed away, I had a panic attack and I remember thinking I was going to die! All of a sudden, a feeling of comfort came over me, and I heard (audible), “you don’t have to worry about dying”. I have always believed in Jesus, but I was brought up Catholic and never read the Bible until I got older. As I got into high school, I was told by the Holy Spirit (thoughts that I knew weren’t mine) I needed to forgive my step dad. I remember praying 🙏 and telling Jesus I forgive him. I also asked for forgiveness for all my sins. Right after, I remember feeling like an elephant had been lifted off my chest!! I was given a new heart! All my anger was gone!! As I got older, I was told to always (Holy Spirit - thought that wasn’t mine) look for the Tribulation and the Mark of the Beast. I remember, at the beginning of this year (2021) I was praying 🙏 and I asked Jesus if we were already in the Tribulation because of all the signs I was seeing. I fell asleep and when I woke up I saw a video by Jonathan Cahn about two cows 🐄🐄 that were born in September 2014, 5 days apart with the number 7 on their foreheads! I believe, just like Genesis 41, this is a warning from the Lord about famine coming on the land!! (Research all the manufacturing facilities being destroyed). I can’t explain how or why I’ve been told things, but I know the Lord has been leading me my whole life! I believe the Great Reset will be the Tribulation and since time is short the Holy Spirit has been leading me to share my testimony with others to help them believe in Jesus! He is alive and waiting for us to seek Him so He can reveal Himself to us!! Believe in Him and accept His free gift of salvation!! Don’t wait till it’s too late! Eternity in Hell is worse than you can imagine! The Gospel: 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 Christ died for the forgiveness of our sins, He suffered, died and was buried. He rose again the third day, according to the scriptures. We are all sinners in need of a savior. Someone has to pay for our sins. Jesus already did!! Just say Thank you Jesus!! My first time praying in tongues, I had all those thoughts that I was just babbling. I kept doing it anyway and I was laying down and looking up and a demon manifested above me and told me to shut the Blank up and that is when I knew it was powerful. Just because you experienced an emotional high does not mean it's sound doctrine. Did you convey the gospel to someone in their own language? Did you have an interpreter? Was another Christian edified? These are vital biblical questions. Tongues are for EVANGELISM, just as the other 8 gifts of the Spirit. None of those gifts are for achieving an emotional high for OURSELVES. If you read 1 Cor 14 in its entirety, in biblical and cultural context, you'll see the truth.
Have you read Dave Roberson's book: The Walk Of The Spirit....( I learnt stunning mysteries of speaking in Tongues from this book, am surprised why Sid isn't mentioning his name b/c he once interviewed him)
@@sarah15788 According to Paul, "mysteries" related to tongues is not a good thing. It's supposed to convey the gospel in a non-mysteious that others understand in the language native to them.
PRAYING in tongues is documented in the Bible NOWHERE. So, where is it coming from? The dark side? Modern believers are obsessed with this counterfeit use of tongues just as the Corinthians were. That was why Paul had to warn them about speaking gibberish into the air.

I starting praying in tongues in October of 2022. I had prayed every day for about 30 days asking for the gift of tongues and it finally happened. I pray a lot in tongues now and I have noticed that after I pray them later things will happen that I couldn’t have done by myself.
My children walked in on me laying in bed speaking in tongues after listening to the song “You’re The Almighty God” by Nikos (a battle song given to him by God, sung by warrior angels). I couldn’t stop to speak to them so they left the room. While still speaking I heard the Lord say explain to them what they’ve witnessed, give them the scriptures for full understanding of the power. After I came to, I called them all in the living room and did what I was told. I even played the song for them. Now today (the next day) I see this video at the top of my timeline (I guess there was more I was supposed to teach them about the gift of tongues 😆). God is so awesome! I don’t know how anyone feels they can function in this world without Him. Thank you brother for sharing your knowledge with us 🙏🏽
This would not be the biblical gift of tongues, since your children hearing it was not understood and unfruitful in edifying their understanding. Tongues is never something to be spoken into the air as a mystery language. Your children must have been confused.Thry left because you were not making sense to them, which is the exact opposite of how true tongues works

What you are experiencing is the power of false "tongues" to make such a negative impression that no logical person would want to go near that religion. They made an unfortunate decision, but such is the power of first impressions. Many people, myself included, can discern the falseness of glossolalia prayer, and are very turned off by it. If when I first went to Bible studies, someone had started praying in unknown gibberish, I'd have been out the door. Do you see why Paul said to be quiet unless you were being understood by others, otherwise you're speaking confused mysteries into the air? May I kindly suggest you read all of Acts to see the 3 examples of how the true gift of tongues was used by the apostles to impart the gospel to other HUMANS in a KNOWN dialect, that others might be edified? That's what tongues is for. In 1 Corinthians 12-14, there is much good info. In fact, Paul heard the Corinthians were abusing the gift of tongues and desiring to speak gibberish to edify themselves, and not in a good way, but to feel "special." Chapter 14 in particular, read in context and in full, is very much against this"praying in tongues " alone in an unknown language, OR around others without interpretation and understanding. PLEASE study this with an open mind. The charismatic focus on this gibberish language was never part of traditional Christian doctrine, nor used by the apostolic church. You can now see the damage it can do. If you study it and embrace the truth, then confess to your family that you were deceived, it might make a very positive impression on them to reconsider studying the truth. There are many churches that do not tolerate this false expressions of tongues, and that might appeal to their logical minds. Remember that the devil can bestow counterfeit gifts and miracles. I have been praying in tongues for nearly 40 years. I do not have a demon tongue gift. Tongues is a wonderful gift and I treasure it greatly. You sound pompous. You also need to get baptized in the Spirit and pray in tongues. @@TIJoe-te9qu
Hi Sid u prayed for me to receive the Baptism of the Holy Spirit at Beth Messiah ln the mid 70s I was only 12 and u came over to me and said Joe would u like to be baptized in the Holy Spirit? And guess what? I couldn’t wait. I just turned 61 and will never forget when I was with u speaking in tongue’s for the first time. I don’t know if u remember my older brother David Stearman he has since passed and is with the Lord.
I'm not one to usually go out asking for prayer, but my pet parrot Is acting sick and I don't know what to do. His name is Merlin. In faith, I quietly uttered the worda Abba. I relaxed and allowed by tongue to move. He will not take your tongue and force it. Soon after His presence came over me and it flowed out of me a long with many many tears!! It was a beautiful experience, but everybody is different. If you are born again and you ask Him for it, have faith that you WILL receive it. Stay diligent in prayer and seek it. Have faith, my friend. It's yours and you WILL receive. You can also have a spirit filled believer pray for you to receive. Don't force it. Just received in faith. Don't ever doubt that you will receive. Worship and praise Him.
I can confirm prayer while sleeping!!🔥🔥 TWICE I have woke up in the morning and my throat was swollen! Both times my wife said I was praying in tongues off and on all night. It 100% does happen.

Heard recently of a man praying in the spirit and when he opened his eyes there was a man right in his face wanting to speak to him but he had no idea what he was saying, but he was apparently speaking perfect Nigerian! And translated for them as he was speaking of the great and Wonderful works of the Lord!!!!

When I received the Holly spirit speaking in tongues I was 16 yrs old now I'm 67 and never this gift has gone away I always speak in tongues even if I am not praising God. I always thought that was normal and some christian friends told me that they have to be praising God and being in the spirit and that's the only time they speak in tongues. I thank God because I can just open my mouth Andi can speak in tongues all the time.

I have a cute anxiety and when it’s time to go to bed, I’m living alone and my anxiety always flares up at the same time but lately I’ve been speaking in the spirit in tongues and slowly, slowly my anxiety comes down and I begin to sleep. I love this teaching, as I can remember my initial encounter with the supernatural before I was born again. and I recall it unfolded as a open tap. Flowing water But on the day that I spoke in tongues I was lifted up to the most beautiful scenic view A GREAT WATER FALL. Then I had all these languages tumbling one to another out of my being. The congregation was gone and I was alone with this water fall in this amazing experience and then my belly moved and groan it felt like I was pregnant and the baby was active. I received divers tongues as the scripture for the rest of 40 years I have prayed in tongues everyday. Tongues, prophecy revelation word of knowledge, word of wisdom depends on the holy spirit giving it to whom he please❤
I praise the Lord Jesus for the weapon and gift of tongues. It changed the course of my children's life and my life. All three of my children got their spouses by me praying in tongues over them when they were teenagers. While driving to work I prayed in tongues 1 hour a day Monday through Friday. I did this for about five years since I had to drive any way I prayed at the same time.
Early morning of December 2021, I had slept with a sermon by David Diga Hernandez on tongues, I awoke at 3am speaking in tongues. My mouth was moving on its own and I could not control it, it felt so surreal. I have also prophesied through speaking tongues, as a teenager I would pretend to speak in Chinese and I would flow in it. It would be random, fast foward 10 years later that I ended up living with Chinese people for 7 years
Sounds like that false preaching on a false use of tongues gave demons a chance to enter. No apostle ever spoke or prayed in tongues, unless it had fruitful understanding by another person for imparting the gospel to them.

Last June 24th Saturday I was baptized of water and that next day Sunday during the church service I was suddenly started to cry like screaming then I spoke in tongues (I was baptized with the Precious Holy Spirit) I let myself to speak in tongues since I prayed for it that I want to experience to be able to speak in tongues. On that day I couldn't explain the joy I felt and my relationship to Jesus is become stronger. I am talking to Him everyday and I prefer to spend more time to Jesus alone and read the bible than be with friends. It so amazing that God gave me this Spiritual gift of tongues and I noticed that when I sing my voice become more beautiful is so amazing, I swear! I know the tune of my voice but because of the gift of tongues there is something happened to my voice. When I pray my hands shaking fast but I can control I'm filled with the Precious Holy Spirit. It was 5:20am this morning. I opened my phone to listen to a Christian sermon...and I poped into this sermon by Sid Roth. As you can watch in here, Sid begins his sermon by pointing his finger to his audience saying "someone watching me with wrist pain is healed". As I hear that voice, I jerked out of bed and started moving my right hand wrist, which was ailing me for the last three weeks. Interestingly, the extruciating pain in my wrist discipated as he kept teaching on the bennefits of SPEAKING IN TONGUES! Praise be to God. Hallelujah! Sid started

SID, GOD BLESS YOU! I hurt my wrist in the gym about 2 weeks ago, and less than 2 minutes in and my right wrist has been healed. I shook it around, felt no pain, sat on it, no pain. Will be going to the gym tomorrow to test it out. Wow! Thank God
When I was asking for the Holy Spirit's baptism with God, he told me be clear with my husband, not to hide anything from him, which I had been doing (not wrongs, but I used to visit my younger brother & his family to lead them to Christ and few other things). I came clear and then God told me to fast for 1 week, which I start from next day, used to pray 3 times a day and keep on reading the Bible whenever I was free. The 3rd day when I was praying during my lunch time my words started to change, I was so shocked that i couldn't speak my native language but speaking in different language. I started crying feeling that i would never speak my native language. I just kept sitting in my office room, but was so thrilled like i again slowly went and knelt down and opened my mouth to praise God, Oh Jesus, it started flowing like a rushing river, baptized by the Holy Spirit. And completed one week fastings. What a feel 😊 i could never ever forget the experience. That's why when some babblers say there is no Holy spirit no tongues, i keep saying what do you know of the Holy Spirit, you don't even have any experience with Him personally. I have experienced Him personally. Once when one lady told wrongly about Pastor Paul Yonggi Cho, i believed it and shared with another lady, that same day when come home from office met with an accident, I asked God why, but no reply, that same day night my husband came home from his tour and handed over a book written by Pastor Cho, when Holy Spirit told me becoz of him I met the accident. Never speak ill of any servant of God. God is zealous for them. I have tonnes of experience with the Holy Spirit, oh how can I share it. Pl Holy Spirit help me. Many of my experiences were to put me in right path❤. Disobedience brings punishment
When God baptized me with speaking in tongues it started in my throat but I could hear it. It was coming up out of my belly. I was so surprised. I had not asked for it because I was in a church that didn't believe it. I didn't either until it happened and Ii knew it was from God. I had an inner witness from Holy Spirit. I thought oh my, I am going to be kicked out of the church lol. After several months I prayed for God to give me the gift and then I prayed out loud only one word - baruch. Later I learned it meant blessed. After that word, the sweetest aroma filled the air. I knew it was God's presence. It put me to sleep. Although when I first heard tongues in my throat it was very fluent' I had to work at getting my physical body to pray/speak in tongues. My tongue had to learn to move with the new languages. Through the years I spoke several languages, sing in the spirit, and even had a warrior language. At first the enemy harassed me when trying to pray in tongues. Then I would speak out loud how be it that I speak the mysteries of God. The enemy left me alone after that. Since I started out praying in tongues silently in my throat, when in public or while going to sleep I pray silently in tongues. So I have always prayed out loud and silently in tongues as you do Sid. ~ Blessings

I can’t stay away from God I have this feeling of a longing to stay under his wings just like a child that clings to her father in times of her crying . I pray that my family returns back to me. I need my arms to be held up just like Moses did with Aron . He could not hold up his arms anymore so his brother held them up for him. I and my 3 sons and 4 grandchildren need rescuing and need to return back to God. I love Sid Roth and his genuine love for God this is what I was praying for . While sleeping I am praying in the Spirit. My daughter tells me I sound like I'm speaking in Navajo. I pray in tongues when by myself, I always thought it sound that way too.

I think that doubt is common to most believers at first. I doubted for Years! ...but I still did it!! I asked myself if I could trust the Holy Spirit to take those sounds that I was speaking, to turn them into something meaningful. And my answer was YES, I could trust Him to do that! My initial experience was when Jimmy Swaggart was preaching on a Sunday in a town near me. He gave the call, & a bunch of people went forward. Everyone but me started speaking in tongues. I was so embarrassed, I felt like all eyes were on me. So, I thought I'd "fake it". I started saying sounds like "ah bah na" etc. And I felt a strange sensation in my stomach. It started moving upward into my throat. And it scared me! So I quit speaking. No one told me I would feel something!! I was later told that only happens the first time. ...Just thought I'd share. ♡
Well , for the past two days I have been wondering what praying in tongues meant and here a video has popped up out of nowhere to tell me how powerful it is! 🙏
When I was filled with praying in tongues i was high for a month maybe longer ..preaching the gospel to the customers in the bar in which I was a waitress. What the gift of tongues did for me is ..I had one foot in the world and one foot in church.. it delivered me of that confusion. Thank You Sid for the tips to pray in the Spirit at all times!
You're right, it IS a high, but it's NOT biblical to PRAY in an unknown tongue without fruitful UNDERSTANDING by others to receive the gospel! Babbling in unknown tongues is absolutely unbiblical.

The Holy Spirit led me into a season of prayer and the instruction was to pray in tongues. It began very difficult but I persisted because I knew the instruction was from the Holy Spirit. After some months of persisting, one day I began to feel a sweet sensation on my tongue. I couldn’t believe it but it was so good. It’s been just over a year now since that started and every time I pray in tongues I feel the sweet taste on my tongue. And surprisingly, when I change into my own language it stops. At the beginning I thought it was just something else and I remember thoroughly brushing my teeth before I started my prayer time and to my utter shock I began to feel the sweetness a few seconds after I started praying in tongues. It’s been the most mind boggling yet the sweetest - pun intended - experience. And because of it, I pray in tongues as much as I can, even when I am around people and I do it in undertones. It’s beautiful and I can testify that praying in tongues indeed is a mystery that is powerful
This is for me, please pray for my healing. I just came out of hospital from some infection. Of hands wrists and shoulders. Everything is getting better except one wrist. I had surgery on it, but it feels like it’s frozen and I can’t use left hand. I believe God will heal my wrist .

His understanding is NOT biblical. Speaking in a dialektos to spread the gospel is biblical. Speaking glossolalia in to the air without understanding is not approved.
When I went through a horrible custody battle and my spouse temporarily had my children for 2 years. GOD THE HOLY SPIRIT INFORMED ME THAT THERE IS NO SPACE OR TIME WHEN I PRAY IN TONGUES FOR MY CHILDREN EVEN THOUGH I COULDN'T GET MY HANDS ON THEM TO PROTECT THEM. HE TOLD ME HE WOULD PROTECT THEM AND GET THEM BACK TO ME WHEN I PRAYED IN TONGUES FOR THEM. SO I DID AND THE LORD GOT THEM BACK TO ME SAFELY.
I received tongues at 20 and two years ago I prayed for 3 hours straight..my nephew was gone to Heaven but we prayed all night..those tongues really helped me comfort my family with peaceful hugs..God told me" she will be fine..and you will be fine" ..never would I have believed that God could've been any closer. I believe those tongues saved lives and souls that night..Amen.
Wow, when I by God's grace I started praying and singing in tongues a few weeks back, the exact same fears and doubts Sid mentions at the beginning are what I struggled with!! The enemy uses the same strategy to discourage us from continuing to pray in tongues. Praise Jesus Christ for exposing the enemy's strategy. To anyone who still doubts whether this gift is for today, I did too, for many years, but God is so gracious....the gift is true, pray God to help your unbelief, He will, and take the step of faith to pray in tongues. In the morning just before I woke up today , I dreamt I was under attack a demon, but I was kneeling and worshipping in tongues , and the demon was saying He is stopping all our operations when He is worshipping God.

Last year I started singing in tongues and the Holy Spirit has given me over 200 beautiful songs since that time. I had asked for the gift of understanding of tongues and so I am very grateful that I always understand the theme of each song, even though I don’t know what the individual words mean. This gift is such a source of JOY to me! I would love to share these songs with others.

No, but if you intentionally ask for the counterfeit tongues, which is a glossolalia babble rather than preaching the gospel in known dialects, which Paul rebuked to the Corinthians, then a door might be opened for the devil to deceive you. Not good to ask for that which the Bible already discourages. All of 1 Corinthians 14 addresses this mystery of unfruitful babbling into the air without understanding.
I had a glorious infilling of the Holy Spirit when I was 15! As I was praying for the exerience, I felt as though I was floating upward. It was so awesome and when I came down-about an hour later, I was speaking in my prayer language. Well, I'm 87 now and still speaking, singing, and praying in tongues! Hallelujah!

Praying 🙏 for everyone reading this. Please seek Jesus before it’s too late! Jesus spoke to me when I was 7 years old, He was there to help me because I was very traumatized, due to the abuse I had endured, by my stepdad. I remember one particular day, staring at my wall, and hearing (audible), “life is a test”. I was so shocked! I remember looking around my room and wondering what just happened! Later that same year, after my Great Grandfather passed away, I had a panic attack and I remember thinking I was going to die! All of a sudden, a feeling of comfort came over me, and I heard (audible), “you don’t have to worry about dying”. I have always believed in Jesus, but I was brought up Catholic and never read the Bible until I got older. As I got into high school, I was told by the Holy Spirit (thoughts that I knew weren’t mine) I needed to forgive my step dad. I remember praying 🙏 and telling Jesus I forgive him. I also asked for forgiveness for all my sins. Right after, I remember feeling like an elephant had been lifted off my chest!! I was given a new heart! All my anger was gone!! As I got older, I was told to always (Holy Spirit - thought that wasn’t mine) look for the Tribulation and the Mark of the Beast. I remember, at the beginning of this year (2021) I was praying 🙏 and I asked Jesus if we were already in the Tribulation because of all the signs I was seeing. I fell asleep and when I woke up I saw a video by Jonathan Cahn about two cows 🐄🐄 that were born in September 2014, 5 days apart with the number 7 on their foreheads! I believe, just like Genesis 41, this is a warning from the Lord about famine coming on the land!! (Research all the manufacturing facilities being destroyed). I can’t explain how or why I’ve been told things, but I know the Lord has been leading me my whole life! I believe the Great Reset will be the Tribulation and since time is short the Holy Spirit has been leading me to share my testimony with others to help them believe in Jesus! He is alive and waiting for us to seek Him so He can reveal Himself to us!! Believe in Him and accept His free gift of salvation!! Don’t wait till it’s too late! Eternity in Hell is worse than you can imagine! The Gospel: 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 Christ died for the forgiveness of our sins, He suffered, died and was buried. He rose again the third day, according to the scriptures. We are all sinners in need of a savior. Someone has to pay for our sins. Jesus already did!! Just say Thank you Jesus!! My first time praying in tongues, I had all those thoughts that I was just babbling. I kept doing it anyway and I was laying down and looking up and a demon manifested above me and told me to shut the Blank up and that is when I knew it was powerful. Just because you experienced an emotional high does not mean it's sound doctrine. Did you convey the gospel to someone in their own language? Did you have an interpreter? Was another Christian edified?
These are vital biblical questions. Tongues are for EVANGELISM, just as the other 8 gifts of the Spirit. None of those gifts are for achieving an emotional high for OURSELVES.
If you read 1 Cor 14 in its entirety, in biblical and cultural context, you'll see the truth.

@@sarah15788 According to Paul, "mysteries" related to tongues is not a good thing. It's supposed to convey the gospel in a non-mysteious that others understand in the language native to them.
PRAYING in tongues is documented in the Bible NOWHERE. So, where is it coming from? The dark side? Modern believers are obsessed with this counterfeit use of tongues just as the Corinthians were. That was why Paul had to warn them about speaking gibberish into the air.

I starting praying in tongues in October of 2022. I had prayed every day for about 30 days asking for the gift of tongues and it finally happened. I pray a lot in tongues now and I have noticed that after I pray them later things will happen that I couldn’t have done by myself.

My children walked in on me laying in bed speaking in tongues after listening to the song “You’re The Almighty God” by Nikos (a battle song given to him by God, sung by warrior angels). I couldn’t stop to speak to them so they left the room. While still speaking I heard the Lord say explain to them what they’ve witnessed, give them the scriptures for full understanding of the power. After I came to, I called them all in the living room and did what I was told. I even played the song for them. Now today (the next day) I see this video at the top of my timeline (I guess there was more I was supposed to teach them about the gift of tongues 😆). God is so awesome! I don’t know how anyone feels they can function in this world without Him. Thank you brother for sharing your knowledge with us 🙏🏽
This would not be the biblical gift of tongues, since your children hearing it was not understood and unfruitful in edifying their understanding. Tongues is never something to be spoken into the air as a mystery language. Your children must have been confused.Thry left because you were not making sense to them, which is the exact opposite of how true tongues works
When I started praying in tongues and my kids saw me, they called me crazy and rejected me. Still do decades later. THey hate me and God.

They made an unfortunate decision, but such is the power of first impressions. Many people, myself included, can discern the falseness of glossolalia prayer, and are very turned off by it. If when I first went to Bible studies, someone had started praying in unknown gibberish, I'd have been out the door. Do you see why Paul said to be quiet unless you were being understood by others, otherwise you're speaking confused mysteries into the air?
May I kindly suggest you read all of Acts to see the 3 examples of how the true gift of tongues was used by the apostles to impart the gospel to other HUMANS in a KNOWN dialect, that others might be edified? That's what tongues is for.
In 1 Corinthians 12-14, there is much good info. In fact, Paul heard the Corinthians were abusing the gift of tongues and desiring to speak gibberish to edify themselves, and not in a good way, but to feel "special." Chapter 14 in particular, read in context and in full, is very much against this"praying in tongues " alone in an unknown language, OR around others without interpretation and understanding.
PLEASE study this with an open mind. The charismatic focus on this gibberish language was never part of traditional Christian doctrine, nor used by the apostolic church. You can now see the damage it can do.
If you study it and embrace the truth, then confess to your family that you were deceived, it might make a very positive impression on them to reconsider studying the truth. There are many churches that do not tolerate this false expressions of tongues, and that might appeal to their logical minds.
Remember that the devil can bestow counterfeit gifts and miracles. Wishing you the best.

Hi Sid u prayed for me to receive the Baptism of the Holy Spirit at Beth Messiah ln the mid 70s I was only 12 and u came over to me and said Joe would u like to be baptized in the Holy Spirit? And guess what? I couldn’t wait. I just turned 61 and will never forget when I was with u speaking in tongue’s for the first time. I don’t know if u remember my older brother David Stearman he has since passed and is with the Lord.

I called probably 13 different vets and between not seeing birds, only taking appointments, being closed, and being on vacation, no vet could see him. We treated him at home with alternative methods. I am so grateful for all the prayers and for him being back to normal. All the glory to God! I don't even have the words to express how happy I am.

In faith, I quietly uttered the worda Abba. I relaxed and allowed by tongue to move. He will not take your tongue and force it. Soon after His presence came over me and it flowed out of me a long with many many tears!! It was a beautiful experience, but everybody is different. If you are born again and you ask Him for it, have faith that you WILL receive it. Stay diligent in prayer and seek it. Have faith, my friend. It's yours and you WILL receive. You can also have a spirit filled believer pray for you to receive. Don't force it. Just received in faith. Don't ever doubt that you will receive. Worship and praise Him.
I can confirm prayer while sleeping!!🔥🔥 TWICE I have woke up in the morning and my throat was swollen! Both times my wife said I was praying in tongues off and on all night. It 100% does happen.

I always thought that was normal and some christian friends told me that they have to be praising God and being in the spirit and that's the only time they speak in tongues.

I praise the Lord Jesus for the weapon and gift of tongues. It changed the course of my children's life and my life. All three of my children got their spouses by me praying in tongues over them when they were teenagers. While driving to work I prayed in tongues 1 hour a day Monday through Friday. I did this for about five years since I had to drive any way I prayed at the same time.
Early morning of December 2021, I had slept with a sermon by David Diga Hernandez on tongues, I awoke at 3am speaking in tongues. My mouth was moving on its own and I could not control it, it felt so surreal. I have also prophesied through speaking tongues, as a teenager I would pretend to speak in Chinese and I would flow in it. It would be random, fast foward 10 years later that I ended up living with Chinese people for 7 years
Sounds like that false preaching on a false use of tongues gave demons a chance to enter. No apostle ever spoke or prayed in tongues, unless it had fruitful understanding by another person for imparting the gospel to them.

Last June 24th Saturday I was baptized of water and that next day Sunday during the church service I was suddenly started to cry like screaming then I spoke in tongues (I was baptized with the Precious
Holy Spirit) I let myself to speak in tongues since I prayed for it that I want to experience to be able to speak in tongues. On that day I couldn't explain the joy I felt and my relationship to Jesus is become stronger. I am talking to Him everyday and I prefer to spend more time to Jesus alone and read the bible than be with friends. It so amazing that God gave me this Spiritual gift of tongues and I noticed that when I sing my voice become more beautiful is so amazing, I swear! I know the tune of my voice but because of the gift of tongues there is something happened to my voice. When I pray my hands shaking fast but I can control I'm filled with the Precious Holy Spirit. It was 5:20am this morning. I opened my phone to listen to a Christian sermon...and I poped into this sermon by Sid Roth. As you can watch in here, Sid begins his sermon by pointing his finger to his audience saying "someone watching me with wrist pain is healed". As I hear that voice, I jerked out of bed and started moving my right hand wrist, which was ailing me for the last three weeks. Interestingly, the extruciating pain in my wrist discipated as he kept teaching on the bennefits of SPEAKING IN TONGUES!

Just found this, and my wrist has been hurting for over a week now. Thank you Jesus for healing me.
SID, GOD BLESS YOU! I hurt my wrist in the gym about 2 weeks ago, and less than 2 minutes in and my right wrist has been healed. I shook it around, felt no pain, sat on it, no pain. Will be going to the gym tomorrow to test it out. Wow! Thank God
When praying in the Holy Spirit you pray according to the perfect will of God because the Holy Spirit prays perfectly!!! ( Rom. 8:26,27; 1Jn. 5:14,15)
When I was asking for the Holy Spirit's baptism with God, he told me be clear with my husband, not to hide anything from him, which I had been doing (not wrongs, but I used to visit my younger brother & his family to lead them to Christ and few other things). I came clear and then God told me to fast for 1 week, which I start from next day, used to pray 3 times a day and keep on reading the Bible whenever I was free. The 3rd day when I was praying during my lunch time my words started to change, I was so shocked that i couldn't speak my native language but speaking in different language. I started crying feeling that i would never speak my native language. I just kept sitting in my office room, but was so thrilled like i again slowly went and knelt down and opened my mouth to praise God, Oh Jesus, it started flowing like a rushing river, baptized by the Holy Spirit. And completed one week fastings. What a feel 😊 i could never ever forget the experience.
That's why when some babblers say there is no Holy spirit no tongues, i keep saying what do you know of the Holy Spirit, you don't even have any experience with Him personally. I have experienced Him personally.
Once when one lady told wrongly about Pastor Paul Yonggi Cho, i believed it and shared with another lady, that same day when come home from office met with an accident, I asked God why, but no reply, that same day night my husband came home from his tour and handed over a book written by Pastor Cho, when Holy Spirit told me becoz of him I met the accident. Never speak ill of any servant of God. God is zealous for them.
I have tonnes of experience with the Holy Spirit, oh how can I share it. Pl Holy Spirit help me. Many of my experiences were to put me in right path❤. Disobedience brings punishment
When God baptized me with speaking in tongues it started in my throat but I could hear it. It was coming up out of my belly. I was so surprised. I had not asked for it because I was in a church that didn't believe it. I didn't either until it happened and Ii knew it was from God. I had an inner witness from Holy Spirit. I thought oh my, I am going to be kicked out of the church lol. After several months I prayed for God to give me the gift and then I prayed out loud only one word - baruch. Later I learned it meant blessed. After that word, the sweetest aroma filled the air. I knew it was God's presence. It put me to sleep. Although when I first heard tongues in my throat it was very fluent' I had to work at getting my physical body to pray/speak in tongues. My tongue had to learn to move with the new languages. Through the years I spoke several languages, sing in the spirit, and even had a warrior language. At first the enemy harassed me when trying to pray in tongues. Then I would speak out loud how be it that I speak the mysteries of God. The enemy left me alone after that. Since I started out praying in tongues silently in my throat, when in public or while going to sleep I pray silently in tongues. So I have always prayed out loud and silently in tongues as you do Sid. ~ Blessings

I got wrist pain on my left hand since March this year, its not normal, i suspect its an attack from the enemy. Thank you Sid, your message gave me understanding that i should fight back this pain with praying in tounges and let Holy Spirit heal me! Thank you Lord Yeshua!

I can’t stay away from God I have this feeling of a longing to stay under his wings just like a child that clings to her father in times of her crying . I pray that my family returns back to me. I need my arms to be held up just like Moses did with Aron . He could not hold up his arms anymore so his brother held them up for him. I and my 3 sons and 4 grandchildren need rescuing and need to return back to God. I love Sid Roth and his genuine love for God this is what I was praying for . While sleeping I am praying in the Spirit. My daughter tells me I sound like I'm speaking in Navajo. I pray in tongues when by myself, I always thought it sound that way too.

Why did no apostles ever use this mighty weapon, and not even Jesus? Why did Paul discourage it in Corinth?
Never ONCE is "the weapon of praying in tongues" even mentioned by Jesus or any Bible apostle or prophet.

Why did Jesus, the apostles, prophets, etc NEVER partake of this "meat" or even speak of it, except when Paul rebuked it in Corinth?
I think that doubt is common to most believers at first. I doubted for Years! ...but I still did it!! I asked myself if I could trust the Holy Spirit to take those sounds that I was speaking, to turn them into something meaningful. And my answer was YES, I could trust Him to do that!
My initial experience was when Jimmy Swaggart was preaching on a Sunday in a town near me. He gave the call, & a bunch of people went forward.
Everyone but me started speaking in tongues. I was so embarrassed, I felt like all eyes were on me. So, I thought I'd "fake it". I started saying sounds like "ah bah na" etc. And I felt a strange sensation in my stomach. It started moving upward into my throat. And it scared me! So I quit speaking. No one told me I would feel something!!
I was later told that only happens the first time.

When I was filled with praying in tongues i was high for a month maybe longer ..preaching the gospel to the customers in the bar in which I was a waitress. What the gift of tongues did for me is ..I had one foot in the world and one foot in church.. it delivered me of that confusion. Thank You Sid for the tips to pray in the Spirit at all times!

You're right, it IS a high, but it's NOT biblical to PRAY in an unknown tongue without fruitful UNDERSTANDING by others to receive the gospel! Babbling in unknown tongues is absolutely unbiblical.

The Holy Spirit led me into a season of prayer and the instruction was to pray in tongues. It began very difficult but I persisted because I knew the instruction was from the Holy Spirit. After some months of persisting, one day I began to feel a sweet sensation on my tongue. I couldn’t believe it but it was so good. It’s been just over a year now since that started and every time I pray in tongues I feel the sweet taste on my tongue. And surprisingly, when I change into my own language it stops. At the beginning I thought it was just something else and I remember thoroughly brushing my teeth before I started my prayer time and to my utter shock I began to feel the sweetness a few seconds after I started praying in tongues. It’s been the most mind boggling yet the sweetest - pun intended - experience. And because of it, I pray in tongues as much as I can, even when I am around people and I do it in undertones. It’s beautiful and I can testify that praying in tongues indeed is a mystery that is powerful

Speaking in tongues is a gift from god. It can't be taught from anyone other than god.
This is for me, please pray for my healing. I just came out of hospital from some infection. Of hands wrists and shoulders. Everything is getting better except one wrist. I had surgery on it, but it feels like it’s frozen and I can’t use left hand. I believe God will heal my wrist .
Thank you Jesus for teaching, you have answered a lot of questions I had for so long time.

His understanding is NOT biblical. Speaking in a dialektos to spread the gospel is biblical. Speaking glossolalia in to the air without understanding is not approved.
When I went through a horrible custody battle and my spouse temporarily had my children for 2 years. GOD THE HOLY SPIRIT INFORMED ME THAT THERE IS NO SPACE OR TIME WHEN I PRAY IN TONGUES FOR MY CHILDREN EVEN THOUGH I COULDN'T GET MY HANDS ON THEM TO PROTECT THEM. HE TOLD ME HE WOULD PROTECT THEM AND GET THEM BACK TO ME WHEN I PRAYED IN TONGUES FOR THEM. SO I DID AND THE LORD GOT THEM BACK TO ME SAFELY.
Opposite happened to me. Horrible custody battle and my kids hate me with a passion. Think I'm Jesus crazy.
I received tongues at 20 and two years ago I prayed for 3 hours straight..my nephew was gone to Heaven but we prayed all night..those tongues really helped me comfort my family with peaceful hugs..God told me" she will be fine..and you will be fine" ..never would I have believed that God could've been any closer. I believe those tongues saved lives and souls that night..Amen.

Wow, when I by God's grace I started praying and singing in tongues a few weeks back, the exact same fears and doubts Sid mentions at the beginning are what I struggled with!! The enemy uses the same strategy to discourage us from continuing to pray in tongues. Praise Jesus Christ for exposing the enemy's strategy. To anyone who still doubts whether this gift is for today, I did too, for many years, but God is so gracious....the gift is true, pray God to help your unbelief, He will, and take the step of faith to pray in tongues. And above all, we are to pursue Love and love all people with the love of God, this is the most excellent way!

Such a GOOD Point ! All believers should speak in tongues as often as we possibly can. The Spirit is (ALWAYS) willing, but the flesh is weak. Lean in to the Spirit !

Have you used that gift to teach those of other nations and languages? That was what it was talking about in the Bible. They received that gift in order to spread the gospel of Jesus.

In the morning just before I woke up today , I dreamt I was under attack a demon, but I was kneeling and worshipping in tongues , and the demon was saying He is stopping all our operations when He is worshipping God.
