I needed to hear this so bad. Not speaking tongues is not indication of not having the Holy Ghost
Heartbreaking to see “Christians” accusing the man of God of being a false teacher and even worse. Then I remember these same religious people would probably have flung accusations at Jesus-sad 😢
I remb my 1st speaking in tongues. I couldn't stop or control what was coming out of my mouth. I felt like I was floating! It was beautiful. To God be the glory. Thank you dr Munroe. You were special you had the keys to heaven while you were here. Now you are reaping the rewards.

I thank God for a real teaching. Many want to pick and chose and argue and debate when Jesus said to believe. You can’t even be saved if you don’t believe so the problem with those who say they are saved is they don’t believe. Lord help those who believe but help their unbelief. In Jesus name amen.

I love this teaching so much because the very problem Dr. Munroe is discussing about believers not simply believing & receiving the Baptism of The Holy Ghost-Speaking in Tongues is a major problem in the church it's a battle to the point that there are Preachers, Pastors that are not teaching it, but running away from it discouraging, and almost Mocking those that do it.

With all due respect and you ridiculous ALL CAPS do you know what *Cloven* means do you know the definition of *Cloven? Obviously you do not..
.Not trying to be offensive, but I can tell when I'm talking to a novice or a beginner in the Word of God...*Cloven just means, divided...two, think of it as the hoof of cattle, split...yet one hoof.
In other words when the Holy Spirit fell on the 120 believers like as fire sat upon each one as they all spoke different languages...not one of the 120 believers spoke in the same language they spoke in *Cloven divided languages...💥As The Spirit (one spirit) gave them the utterance or ability.
So what you're saying is absolutely wrong interpretation of the scripture. You need to study the word of God more....I recieved the Baptism of The Holy Ghost just like the Apostles did over 2,000 yrs. ago.
I can assume you have never received the Baptism of The Holy Ghost, that is a spiritual tragedy because it is a promise & a gift from the Father.

The only way a believer can perform the miraculous sign and wonder of speaking in tongues is by an Apostle (Acts 1:15-26) placing hands on you (Acts 19:6 & Acts 8:17) or by an Apostle speaking to you. All the Apostles are dead (Acts 1:15-26) so the miraculous sign and wonder of speaking in tongues is also non-existing and we must follow the bible example.
Philippians 3:17 Join one another in following my example, brothers, and carefully observe those who walk according to the pattern we set for you.

Even today in 2022 we have believers who still don't believe that Christians should speak with tongues!
It’s a spiritual gift given to certain people, not everyone will be able to. We all have different spiritual gifts. You still have the Holy Spirit in you and are still born again even if you don’t speak in tongues. You can pray for it for sure tho.
@@EtherealEmbiance Mark 16 says these things shall follow them that believe, "They shall speak with new tongues" If you say I can't speak in tongues you ain't a believer are you? Or you are a believer and you can speak in tongues but you just don't do it! Mostly cause you are taught against it. You can speak in tongues right now, just speak it! That's how I did it. I believed I had the holy ghost so I just opened my mouth and started to speak, and in a few seconds my lips started to form words and sentences which sounded like a perfect language.
@@EtherealEmbiance It is given and available to ALL believers NOT certain people. Read Mark 16:16-17...these are the words straight from the mouth of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ himself said "those who believe in him, shall speak in new tongues." Jesus Christ did NOT and does NOT say things for justing "saying sake." When he said those who believe he means just that. Therefore, all of those who believe and NOT some of those who believe. If after reading the word of Jesus Christ himself and you still believe that only certain people can speak in tongues...it means that you choose to NOT believe what Jesus Christ said or you choose to perhaps believe what you have been taught by man more than what Christ himself said. I have yet to hear a reason to speak in tongues. God doesn't answer based on how we format out prayer. Can anyone tell me what tongues has done that regular prayer cant? Can you change Gods mind because you spoke in tongues? I feel like I Jesus didnt teach it its probably not that important. I feel if we removed tongues we wouldnt lose anything except less ppl being turned away. Id love to hear one case where its more than a religious experience.

If you have doubts concerning this spirit breathed teaching, you should just speak to the Holy Spirit to reveal the truth to you as you read your Bible to understand more on speaking in tongues. I can assure you though, that praying/speaking in tongues benefits you as a believer in having a closer, more intimate r/ship with Abba cause we are communicating directly from His spirit to ours. I am reminded to pray in tongues. Thank God for your powerful preaching I remember when I was been baptized with the Holy Spirit.
If you want to know something after twenty years in the faith I come to realization that there's someone up there that God gave a little more denarius than the other being very young in the faith without wanting not to be taught by no one we still learning and receiving conformation from someone with higher level and to be sure of what 2 Timothy 3:16-17 tells us during the period of forty three years I came to learn five different language then I want more I learned to communicated in nine language so when I read of Jesus and Apostol Paul taught about speaking in tongues I look at this in many ways one the pride in churches, second that this gift of the spirit it doesn't hinder God for us to learn if we are hungry enough so I ran to; to may places seeking the baptism of the holy spirit so I could speak in tongues so I thought if I put a word from the many language I knew I said I can do it but in the other hand I knew also that by pretending was an abomination to God in the other hand our Jesus roll muddle we speak a tongue to unbelievers without using our lips but many times when in my intimacy with father God I sang and talk in tongues but I dear myself to talk in front of others I remember in Pentecost churches after the service I used to call the pastor aside and explain and compare what the Holy Scripture said about it. Many places I got kicked out because I always pound in what Apostol Paul said in the Corinthians not having an interpreter they didn't like that but according to this message It brought me a great conformation

Nah lol it doesn’t. Stop making things up. You can’t build your faith by speaking in tongues only God can do that. Speaking in tongues is meant to be a sign for unbelievers so that can be converted. Is any of the tongue speaking converting anyone?

@@maryjacob-israel1341 speaking in tongues is a learnt behaviour. You will be shocked how other denominations speak in tongues. Everyone there speak the same way too. It’s a learnt behaviour. Some Pastors know and they use it to prey on vulnerable Christians so as to make them believe they are growing spiritually. It’s all false doctrine. Why don’t they go out and lay hands on people on the street who accept Christ for the first time and get those people speak in tongues? Why is after they’ve been to church and they hear people uttering all these syllables before they also start imitating it?

Amen, I didn't use to speak in tongues and never thought I would but God, through His divine Holy Spirit had different plan for me. Now I do speak in tongue effortlessly, not forcing it and oh my! How wonderful it is to be genuinely able.
However, I'd admonish that you seek that which is most important, the Kingdom of God and all other things will be added as it so pleaseth God and do keep on praying, you'll surely have a testimony.

The truth is, that whenever a person truly become convicted of their sins and accepts Jesus Christ as their Lord and saviour they also receive the Holy Spirit. Speaking in tongues is the first discernible sign that a person receive the Holy Spirit.
In this passage of Scripture, Jesus speak of the Holy Spirit as being synonymous with himself, so accepting Jesus is also accepting the Holy Spirit and speaking in tongues is the evidence that he reside in you.
John 14:16-18
16And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
17Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

Dear God! I see that this subject is still a hot topic! Scripture is simple so when a person has to use long explanations to try to convince others to agree with them they lose their argument!
Which scripture are you referring to?
Actually, some people have developed strongholds of unbelief in certain areas & you have to take your time(sometimes) to pull down those strongholds. Even Paul taught a message so long in the book of Acts, that a brother fell asleep & fell out of a second story window but GOD used Paul to raise the man back to life. This clearly shows that what you’re saying isn’t necessarily true. No disrespect though, I’m not hear to disrespect anybody.
BAPTISM OF FIRE & SPIRIT

Revelation 2:2 you have tested those who claim to be apostles but are not, and have found them false.
2 Corinthians 11:13 These people are false apostles. They are deceitful workers who disguise themselves as apostles of Christ.
Matthew 24:24 For false christs and false prophets will arise and perform great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect.
Matthew 24:11 many false prophets will appear and deceive many people.
1 John 4:1 do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.

You unbelievers makes my skin crawl. Listen to his other sermons about the Holy Spirit. Before disapproving or damning yourself the Bible says to lean not to your own understanding. If God tells you in His word it's a gift of the Holy Spirit then it's a gift. Don't argue scripture please.

That was excellent and he really clarifies speaking in tongues biblically which there's so many scriptures to back it up. The devil is the one that prevents believers from the gift so that we separate from the Holy Spirit and relationship with God the Father, because he is a liar don't be deceived he's on this earth to cause destruction in our lives. "Be on alert the devil prowls about like a roaring lion,, seeking someone to devour." 1st Peter 5:8 and The thief came to steal, kill and finally destroy in John 10:10 and we can't let him win. Remember he hates God that's why he wants us to burn in hell not home in paradise in heaven with our heavenly Father. We need to be personally edified in the presence of the Holy Spirit so speak in your prayer language tongues. I personally know when I do there is no distraction versus speaking English which everything comes into my mind to cause distractions & my mind wanders which the enemy wants remember it's a battlefield of the mind, but when I speak or sing in tongues it's just me and him the Holy Spirit it's beautiful just communication with God only and he understands, because he gave me that gift and his presence is unbelievable & powerful.

[4] Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus. [5] When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. [6] And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied. [7] And all the men were about twelve.
They were believers who had not received the Holy Ghost but one of the signs of the believer (speak in new tongues) followed them as Jesus said it would in Mark 16:17b. To conclude the chapter (Mark 16) it is clear that after Jesus commissed them they obeyed him (Mark 16:15) with signs that confirmed them as believers. Mark16:20 KJV
[20] And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following.
God himself confirms us (the true believer who hear God's calling) with signs but we often look for a persons confession to confirm them. Remember James 2:19-20 KJV
[19] Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble. [20] But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?
It takes faith to accept speaking in tongues whether it be for confirmation, self edification, praying the perfect will of God or as a gift to edify others through interpretation (all reasons are vital).
We should ask ourselves do we want God's confirmation or man's confirmation. In Acts 2 there were 120 believers who spoke in tongues and many of devout nations wanted interpretation after receiving only translation of the message they miraculously heard through the unlearned so to make sure they understood/ doubters would not say they were mad (1 Corthinitians14:23) Peter said 'these are not drunken as the suppose (verse 15) but THIS IS THAT which spoken by the prophet Joel (verse 16) that in the last days I shall pour my Spirit out on all flesh.....(verse 17)." Speaking in new tongues can be taught in many ways but remember that it was a fulfilment of prophesy; what God said he would do referring to the true believers. I wouldn't leave here until I am confirmed to be the believer that God wants me to be. Make you calling and election sure. Every true believer is a receiver.
BAPTISM OF FIRE & SPIRIT
Matthew 3:11 He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.
Acts 1:5 For John baptized with water, but in a few days you (the apostles Acts 1:2) will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.
Acts 1:8 you (apostles Acts 1:2) will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you (apostles Acts 1:2).

Then we apostles can spend our time in prayer and teaching the word.”
Everyone liked this idea, and they chose the following: Stephen (a man full of faith and the Holy Spirit), Philip, Procorus, Nicanor, Timon, Parmenas, and Nicolas of Antioch (an earlier convert to the Jewish faith). These seven were presented to the apostles, who prayed for them as they laid their hands on them.

Revelation 2:2 you have tested those who claim to be apostles but are not, and have found them false.
2 Corinthians 11:13 These people are false apostles. They are deceitful workers who disguise themselves as apostles of Christ.

I heard a pastor debate with everybody in his live about speaking in tongues saying if you don't speak in tongues you don't have the Holy Ghost... I know for a fact that me purposely wanting and Desiring to change my life quitting habits reading everyday then abstinent for 3 years because I want to obey father God and I don't want no convenants or agreement with the enemy through sex Oh No! in my life that comes by nothing but the Holy Ghost.Bec you wouldnt want to do good for Christ you won't want to obey if no HOLYSPIRIT..you're only able to obey by the power of the Holy Ghost, so he scared me no lie when he said that if you don't speak in tongues you don't have the Holy Ghost,😭🙌 had me crying to God had me bawling like a baby to our daddy Abba💯💯

Does that mean Holy Spirit does not pray in the language we know? Does Romans 8:26 mean prayer in Tongues ? When I pray in the language I know, am I not praying in Spirit?

You need to speak in tongue and let the Holy Spirit reveal things to you. Jesus said that I will send you a Comforter.
