100% offer for sale that to money goes to parent Korean investors (out of India) is not worth it. For longterm, wait till anchor investors to sell after a month from IPO listing (as per regulation). You would probably get is at 30-50% cheaper. Remember, Paytm, LIC, CarTrade, Nykaa all are highly overvalued and 100% OFS. Please DO NOT lose your hard earned money!!!

GMP does not guarantee listing gains, many times it is manipulated.... 1. IPO is overvalued.... there is nothing for listing gains 2. Whole money will be taken by promoters as IPO is 100% OFS.. 3. At present Hyundai Motor India pays 3.5% royalty to the parent company, it can be increased by parent company in future (like Nestle) 4. Many Anchor Investors invest in such kind of IPO because of vested interests...... 5. Anchor lock-in period end date for 50% shares (30 Days), it means after 30 days there will be supply ........ 6. Post IPO Promoter Holding remains 82.50% which is required to reduce further and there will be supply pressure from promoters in future...... I think it is better to stay away from this IPO.
You are absolutely correct. The OFS is only meant promoters and that too out side of India. So, all profts/benefits will go to others than resident investors.

What's the point in applying if you would be getting loss? Better to buy after a few months when it comes around 1200-1300 levels. Rest assured it will fall.

I personally believe the shares of Hyundai can be got at discount of at least 10% before the completion of first one month of listing. They are offering it at much higher price without any scope for listing gains to the general public citing the recent ipo listings of Bajaj Housing Finance and Ola Electric which were underpriced by the companies. I doubt, if the Hyundai IPO would hardly get proper response from the masses if there was no huge fanfare from the media about the issue and, support from financial influencers for subscription.

Well with that said their designs are getting out dated, most of their new ones are aren’t exciting as much as Mahindra Tamo are doing, Hyundai in current year feels like skoda. While KiA is having much better road map with interesting products
I was waiting for this video. I haven't decided as of now on applying for Hyundai ipo and analyzing experts opinion. My gut feeling is stock might discount in few days if there is no price rise of 10% from listing price in one week.
I am not ready to pay more than 1350/- (fair value) for Hyundai india considering various factors like lack of aggression in CNG & EV leadership in market...Tough competition ahead for Hyundai in the future .. Let us wait for some correction in the share and then we can add it ....😊
I am not going to invest for the following reasons 1. The purpose of ipo value Rs 27600+ crores has no plan of investment in india 2. The parent company in korea has taken last year earing around 15000+ crores in the form of divident back to thier country 3. While ofs has bigger contribution, why did they not offering in korean market?, Because their valuation (PE) in korean market is only 7, where they are listing at 27 PE in indian market where the liquidity and indian investors centiment is more towards equity 4. I foresee there is a conflicting interest between promoters and investors
All the 8300 cr anchor book that has come in the IPO are long term investors who knows how to hedge their position in the long term, even an negative or flat listing or stay silent during their lockin period. My view is that the co is an absolute long term investment worthy only for those who knows the risks and who knows how to hedge...

How flawed analysis could get. Benchmarking growth/cagr on 2021 basis is flawed as no company anywhere in the world would achieve it. 24 v 23 is a fair comparison or you should take 2019 (pre-Covid) as the basis to compare..2022 was the lowest start point for many industries
Hyundai motors will increase in price. Numbers don’t lie 2nd highest sales, (even after launch of so many vehicles by other brands. Rox , curv, they can’t beat Creta overall sale. ( currently driving a jeep compass) Better sedans (Acura & Verna)and mid suvs (creta) which control the major segment of Indian motor market, suvs are a luxury and not affordable by everyone. If the expensive Evs of Hyundai will becomes cheaper it will be a big win and that is where they are focusing this money into to improve where they are lagging in sales Only company which i see technologically competing with Hyundai is Tesla in mass producing vehicles followed by Toyota .
