Camp food - frozen vacuum bagged home cooked meals warmed up in the sealed bag in a pot of hot water. Lasagna, chill, bbq pork butt, breakfast casserole, spaghetti, what ever you enjoy at home. Quick simple and its home cooked!!
Also I use some midsize hd totes for clothes that are stackable. Also gives you some flat work surfaces to use. Also the way you do you clothes now you kind of have idea I used these a bunch, these some, and these none. So now you fine tune down a little more and make every trip box and a good possibility box. The totes also give something else to help with laundry in. Especially if you got caught out late in a down pour or falling (heaven forbid) out your “boat” and need a place for wet clothes storage. Tent wise you get maybe a 14ft tandem trailer and have room for camp in the back 1/3 of it.
Great thoughts man taking notes - I run electric heater in Kodiak. Does ok The little buddy single can burns out in the night - considering getting the bigger and connecting to 5 g propane like grill ones
I had a zero mummy bag one night. I warm as toast but could not move or zip it up around shoulders. I’m 6-1 230 and broad shoulder. I would not zip up past my elbow. I had extra cover to cover the open part. Glad i didn’t pull tag and went back to Wally World. It was rated for a 6-6 guy but was small on me.
Man, I hear you on the potential problems with using a mummy bag on a longer hunt, and the Crocs are awesome when you get back to camp! Great ideas throughout this podcast.
Lol’d when you were talking about eating steaks and velveta! Need to mix some veggies in there! What’s life without comfort food. Nice pod vid. Always listen at home doing dishes.
I got a 10×12 wall tent use if im with people and gunnna be there awhile. Have a bed in my trucks camper shell when buy myself. You're right wall tent is alot for one person.
