his favourite player apparently . i dont think he is though , he hasnt got the long range ability of alonso but i dont think thats what slott wants in that position anyway . pananeka sums it up spot on at the end , slott wants someone who is always available for the ball in that position , as an example curtis getting caught on the ball because he cant see the next pass because passing lanes have been covered by opposition , zubamendi seems very good at always finding the space to recieve the ball this will help his pivot partner , both center backs and keeper , he maintains possession but capable of the pass centrally splitting the lines and has good defensive positioning when the ball gets turned over . when people cover those stats it seems he is up there with the best so hopefully he will fit like a glove .

Keeps possession, and, maybe a Van Dijk replacement so he can settle in in a season or two. We have a very good squad already and we do not need to much signings. This season maybe ATLEAST 2. DM and CB. Next season we can sign a RW
Don't hype for Zubimendi. I know that he's not coming yo LFC. He's rejected Bayern , Barca , Arsenal and Liverpool soon because of his loyalty to his boyhood club which is very understandable. We've completely wasted our time on nothing
