It might not work, I've been through this trying to fix my parent's way of parenting. They're to set in their ways. I changed my way of parenting instead. I'm a single dad my daughter is 24. Atleast by changing my way of parenting my daughter can be a different parent to her children, and so it becomes a generational change. Though I'm still taking the blows and punches from my parents. It becomes a sacrifice from my part to change a generation. And also I never let my Daughter go to my parents without me being present.

“I believe you” is so profound. I know I’ve never heard this from any guardian and most times punishments I received felt unjust. This has been a huge relief and an answer to my prayers.
Thank you for this work !

My mother never said sorry. My dad did. But my mother never ever fessed up to her bad behavior so as a mom I always acknowledge when I messed up.

For me, recovering from mold toxicity and nervous system dis regulation, this is great info…and hard to listen to your intensity. Hope you’re doing well Dr. Kennedy

Must there be a program for everything?

What program? Is trying to be a good parent or person a "program" to you? And choosing not to care is not a program? 😳🤔
