      +Mike Alegre You bet man. I'm glad it helps. It is worth getting the steps - especially if you have a prego wife! (That's how I got this so it would be easier for her to get in and out of the rig...)

    I have a 2008 armada. Did you have to cut it this to shorten the board from 11 to 8 inches or is it adjustable to fit under the suv with less gap?

      RICK JAMES Hey Rick, thanks. I just got a Titan PRO-4X with a 6" lift with 35's. I also have a set of chrome side steps on the Titan and they always stick out and I HATE THEM!!! I feel bad selling them but I plan on installing the same power steps on the Titan too. Good luck and hopefully this video will help you. You don't need to pay a shop to do this install. It's pretty easy to do and just takes some time. Play good music and take it easy. Thanks again.

      I've taken it a ton off road. It was my only rig but now I have a Titan Pro-4X which has the locking rear diff. I've never had any problems wheeling in rugged area's.

    Hello saw ur video really good, I bought 2015 platinum reserve in May. What did you do to raise your armada and did it change the smooth ride

      Hey! The only lift kit I found was from Pro Comp and from PRG - Definitely go with PRG! Though the kit will come with Pro Comp shocks, I've blew through those a few times and fortunately got them from 4 Wheel Parts Wholesalers and they too were sick of me bringing in the shocks so they switched them out with Bilstein's - which I haven't had a single problem!!! It did change the smooth ride and anyone that tells you different is full of it! It does make it a little stiffer on the front end but my rear suspension doesn't have the air bags. I don't know what a lifted Armada feels like with the Air Bags... So the ride is still good, smooth and it does look great but above all, it gets me where I want to! Good luck and let me know how things go!!!

    Did you end up installing the LED light kit for the power step?

    • @OffroadMylo
      @OffroadMylo  8 лет назад +1

      +Reggie Wynn Yo, I actually didn't. it's been a while since I made this install video and I haven't had many experiences where it made me say "MAN! I wish there were lights on this thing!!!" I'm sure the lights look cool but I've been fine with out it. I did see the "how to" install guide and it is pretty easy. I don't know how many miles I had when I made this video but now, the Armada is at 177k and the steps are still going freakin' strong!

    Nice! Bad thing the power step didnt include my SUV on the supported list. Is there a way this can be fitted to other SUV? Ive got a Chevy Trailblazer 2014. Nice video by the way.

      Sirk Lozano Hey thanks for the good words. I know some systems are universal.... My kit can fit a Titan or an Armada. I just called AMP Research and their tech team said the last time they made a kit for the Trailblazer was for 2009.... I wonder if you could take a few photo's and then see how it could match with your 2014 and see IF the motor's would mount properly or close enough.
      Mounting the motors is going to be the most important thing. The step itself can be cut to any length. In fact, for Nissan Titan's, they recommend cutting the step by a few inches but installing it the same way....
      Good luck Sirk. I wish I had better news for you because these steps are pretty cool. Thanks.

    My front passenger door trigger wire is only reading 2 volts when door is closed. All the others read 12v when closed. Anyone have a clue why?

    • @OffroadMylo
      @OffroadMylo  5 лет назад

      Not sure why that's the case. I didn't have any issue with that.

    what kind of lift you running ????

    • @OffroadMylo
      @OffroadMylo  9 лет назад

      Hey, I'm running a 4" Pro-Comp lift with Bilstein's all the way around. I kept blowing the rear Pro-Comp shocks and had to keep replacing them. Bilstein's man. They rock!

    • @wutangclan5010
      @wutangclan5010 9 лет назад

      dayumm 4" looks really good, were did u purchase the lift kit ?? i can never find one for my armada

    • @OffroadMylo
      @OffroadMylo  9 лет назад

      wutangclan5010 The 4" is rad! The only thing is you can fit 35's but it'll rub up front with the stock bumper. I got a Fab Fours and it gave me a heck of a lot more clearance! About 4 more inches of room! Pro Comp was the only company that made them. You may want to check out PRG and see what they have. I have 2 rear shocks per wheel and not the air bags..... It rocks!

    • @OffroadMylo
      @OffroadMylo  9 лет назад

      wutangclan5010 I lied. I actually have a 6" Pro Comp lift. I don't know why I said 4".... As far as a lift kit for an Armada, contact Greg over at PRG or you can visit this link and check out their 5" lift: www.prgproducts.com/shop/product/procompprg-5-bracket-lift
      The lift makes it all the better!
