Makes you wonder if there is anything simple left in Las Vegas. The old Vegas of the 70's was coffee shops or buffet restaurants with hotel lounges anyone could valet park and walk in and enjoy. This extravagant resort with the variety of multi-star restaurants, the up scale shopping, even the bar with it expensive liquors and drink choices. Fabulous! Thank you for your giving us the tour and I loved the drive out there. Your friendly showgirl.
LOL no, I do not think anything simple is left in this valley, Kathleen! It's all upscale and trendy and gorgeous - a patch of desert is getting hard to come by. But, yes, GVR was really fabulous, and we are glad our vlog channel finally got us to go out and check it out.
Hey guys, wow what a gorgeous area! That brought back so many wonderful memories of my time in Vegas! I was selling real estate when the condos in the district were built. I had forgotten how green and beautiful that area was! Your photography and descriptions absolutely show it it’s beautiful best! Another fantastic casino in that area that I used to go to the buffet with clients was The Sunset Station.

What a beautiful property. You can check in and stay there for several days and never have to leave because it really has everything that you need. There is something for everybody. You guys should definitely do a staycation here. I agree with you Paula I would definitely book a reservation at Bottiglia. What a beautiful restaurant and I love all the floral decor. I love martinis so I would definitely be at one of those martini bars on property.
My Brother in Law lives in GV and we love going here to gamble when we visit. Prefer this atmosphere over the strip any-day. Going to have my 50th here in Sept.

I have heard that Green Valley Ranch is pretty nice, so lets check it out. Wow....the most expensive Hotel Casino in Vegas, that is a cray stat! Beautiful Entrance and grounds. The lobby is very nice. This place is so awesome, thanks for sharing. The pool area is very nice. Really great cinematography. I need to try Bingo in Vegas, and do some Keno. Very nice sports book! Wow Bottiglia is a gorgeous restaurant. Borracha looks great. Tides and Hanks look pretty yummy as well. The District seems very cool. There are places like this in the East Coast, like in Myrtle Beach, and Richmond Virginia, and other areas. Happy Memorial Day!

GVR is such a beautiful property. My best friend and his wife used to live off of S Green Valley Pkwy and watched the whole area get built up around them. It was so exciting visiting them between 2001 and 2005 because something new seemed to open up each month! They have since moved, and I haven't been back to that part of the valley since 2009. Looks like its worth a trip the next time I am in town.

Yes, when you drive by, there are so many trees and so on, you have NO idea what is in there! But yes, pop in for lunch or dinner, and just explore - it's gorgeous.
Green valley ranch is so exquisite and so beautiful I am just amazed of the beauty of this hotel. The playground looks so gorgeous. All I can say is WOW! And the pool is to die for.. Stunning!!!!

We are so thankful that you have been out there watching for a long time, and that you still find us interesting! 🥰 We too love to showcase other areas of the Las Vegas valley that aren't the Strip, but are definitely worth a look.
Beautiful location, but with the economy slowing, I hope they have more people in the evenings and weekends to keep the doors open. The overhead cost to run these locations is sky-high. I was a small business owner with only two employees, and it cost me over $35k a month to keep the doors open. Thanks for the tour, Mike
Wow that is an amazing statistic right there, Mike! We visited at 7:30 am on a Tuesday - but we are sure that the clientele dramatically increases later in the day and on weekends.
GVR was our favorite local casino while living in Henderson. I agree with you guys, it is beautiful. Check out the fireworks on the holidays. The Italian Restaurant Bottiglio, had a senior deal on Sunday evening at 5pm. Concerts are offered often in a Hugh Theater. They are connected to the District as well. I am thankful for your vlog, but especially this one. I get to reminisce how much time we spent there.
GVR and Red Rock are great Station properties. GVR seems less crowded than RR (has bowling alley) and a more relaxing vibe. Disappointed that Station casinos decided to discontinue its buffets. The Lucky Penny diner at GVR is pretty solid place to eat though. As former local, buffets were a major reason why I visited all the Station properties. Nice work as always!!

I’ve never been to GVR yet but it’s on my list for my next trip! Even though I’ve been to Vegas more times than I can count haha. We also have an Enoteca restaurant at the Bella Sera hotel here in my home town of Paso Robles CA. Beautiful place. However, if you guys are EVER on the central coast of California, you have got to check out Allegretto Vinyard Resort. The art in there is insane, such a gorgeous property! And the restaurant Cello is superb, one of my favorites. We just celebrated my 21st there couple weeks ago haha!

@@paulamckenzie Hi Paula. You are right, we are back in Argentina. We were at the Jockey Club, with a beautiful view to the Bellagio Fountain. They granted us access to both the Cosmopolitan pool and parking. Definitely, the Jockey Club is a hidden jewel in LV.

Great video skills showing all the best in the best way. This resort is lovely for those of us who do not need the energy (and noise) of a party crowd. Very nice video. I’ve heard of this resort. There used to be a tv show about this resort, I believe on A&E. For a locals resort their rooms are kind of expensive and in room amenities are lacking, like no coffee makers.
I just heard it for the first time since visiting las vegas but it's look stunning and beautiful......................wishing some day I'll be there.

Yes, when you drive by, there are so many trees and so on, you have NO idea what is in there! But yes, pop in for lunch or dinner, and just explore - it's gorgeous.

Green valley ranch is so exquisite and so beautiful I am just amazed of the beauty of this hotel. The playground looks so gorgeous. All I can say is WOW! And the pool is to die for.. Stunning!!!!
We thought so too! We were just dazzled by the place - and more so, because we always knew it was there but had no idea what we were missing!

Stop you guys really never been to green valley before! Haha crazy! Knowing you guys I thought I’ll be right up your ally ! When I first moved to Vegas I lived off of Green Valley Parkway I love that area! Wonderful hotel stayed there numerous times! You guys need to do hanks next! We don’t live far from there!
LOL well we always lived north and west, and so we rarely went to Henderson for any reason...you know how that is. We are glad this little vlog channel finally got us over there!

That is a beautiful property. Went there years ago and it’s more magnificent now. I believe years ago they had a tv show that was filmed there. Glad you said something about your windshield Paula, I kept wiping off my screen thinking there was something on it lol! Have a great Memorial Day weekend
LOL I felt so bad about the windshield! You are right, there was a reality TV show filmed there, although we never watched it and I don't think we were even aware of it at the time. We are so glad we finally went to check the place out!

Beautiful location, but with the economy slowing, I hope they have more people in the evenings and weekends to keep the doors open. The overhead cost to run these locations is sky-high. I was a small business owner with only two employees, and it cost me over $35k a month to keep the doors open. Thanks for the tour, Mike
Wow that is an amazing statistic right there, Mike! We visited at 7:30 am on a Tuesday - but we are sure that the clientele dramatically increases later in the day and on weekends.

My family and I stayed in 2019 and really enjoyed our stay there a week and never left that area. One of favorite trips to Vegas.

GVR was our favorite local casino while living in Henderson. I agree with you guys, it is beautiful. Check out the fireworks on the holidays. The Italian Restaurant Bottiglio, had a senior deal on Sunday evening at 5pm. Concerts are offered often in a Hugh Theater. They are connected to the District as well. I am thankful for your vlog, but especially this one. I get to reminisce how much time we spent there.

GVR and Red Rock are great Station properties. GVR seems less crowded than RR (has bowling alley) and a more relaxing vibe. Disappointed that Station casinos decided to discontinue its buffets. The Lucky Penny diner at GVR is pretty solid place to eat though. As former local, buffets were a major reason why I visited all the Station properties. Nice work as always!!
We agree - we miss the Station Casinos buffets, and we dined there a LOT. Those 2-for-1 deals were fantastic for a cheap and delicious weekday supper.

Great video profiling a locale many would otherwise be unaware of. As you said, you have a future vlog on The District whenever you want/need to create one. Thanks for the reminder on the meaning of Memorial Day. Too often the meaning of Memorial Day and Veteran's Day gets lost in the various sales that businesses are having.
You are so right - and people mix up the whole "some gave all" aspect of Memorial Day. It is to honor those who gave all.

I’ve never been to GVR yet but it’s on my list for my next trip! Even though I’ve been to Vegas more times than I can count haha.
We also have an Enoteca restaurant at the Bella Sera hotel here in my home town of Paso Robles CA. Beautiful place. However, if you guys are EVER on the central coast of California, you have got to check out Allegretto Vinyard Resort. The art in there is insane, such a gorgeous property! And the restaurant Cello is superb, one of my favorites. We just celebrated my 21st there couple weeks ago haha!

@@paulamckenzie Hi Paula. You are right, we are back in Argentina. We were at the Jockey Club, with a beautiful view to the Bellagio Fountain. They granted us access to both the Cosmopolitan pool and parking. Definitely, the Jockey Club is a hidden jewel in LV.
@@DannyRosendo Wow we recently saw a RUclips video where they stayed at Jockey Club and had those same perks you mentioned - that is a fantastic hidden gem! Plus, they are equipped with full kitchens!

Wow, GVR is beautiful! I remember a reality TV show that took place there many years ago when the property was first opened. It was very entertaining, but I don't remember GVR looking quite as nice back then as it does now!
Oh I imagine they have done a whole lot of renovating and renewing and refreshing since that reality show aired!

Hi there - well we have featured Santa Fe Station and Red Rock in vlogs of their own, and we featured the Fiesta and Texas Station as part of vlogs that had other things in them. (Of course neither of those two are open any more.)
All I can say is wow! I've never been to this one but one thing is for sure next time in Vegas I will be going!

Station Casinos has not brought back any of their buffets after the pandemic, sadly.
Great video skills showing all the best in the best way. This resort is lovely for those of us who do not need the energy (and noise) of a party crowd. Once I’m settled I’ll try this for a late afternoon cocktail. As always, a good video. Have you returned for lunch or dinner at the charming “white” restaurant?
Very nice video. I’ve heard of this resort. There used to be a tv show about this resort, I believe on A&E. For a locals resort their rooms are kind of expensive and in room amenities are lacking, like no coffee makers.
