It is literally the coolest thing I've seen in Vegas maybe ever. I've lived here 30+ years and this thing is mind blowing. The other night we were driving south in the 15 and it looked like the moon had crashed behind the palazzo!!

A while ago I saw a short documentary while they were building this, about how the inside walls are going to be screens. But what it didn't say was that the outside was made of display panels as well. So....damn! All that work was done twice! But the outside panels also have to be weatherproof. And what the hell kind of software do you use to to design spherical CGI footage??? Has that even existed before?
Just what the world needs now...a giant ball of light, flashing LED's to disrupt earth even more, confusing and blinding to the eyes and nature...and this is considered a beautiful accomplishment? Don't we have enough of this stuff already?
That looks like something a futuristic, metropolitan city would just normally be adorned with, or a Final Fantasy city, and I also wonder how many traffic accidents it has caused.
So far, all we've seen is a Convex display of images on the outside...which is both dazzling and uplifting. The Concave display INSIDE will be immersive and "otherworldly". Perhaps even claustrophobic? Plus the images all seem to be computer generated animations. It'll be interesting to see how live action video translates to both screens (internal & external). Kudos!
Hear me out.. the next Vegas building implosion you contact Disney to let you turn the Sphere into a Death Star & shoot a bright green laser out of the Sphere at the building to make the illusion of blowing it up. 🤔

Honestly, I'd rather be in nature enjoying the world's natural beauty. I have to admit that it looks amazing and it's amazing what humans can accomplish but as humans we really need to spend more time in nature rather than being around human made wonders.
@@al3rgen Of course you can. I personally prefer nature over technology. I also prefer nature because it causes minimal impact to our planet vs our human made technological entertainments like this and Disney Land for example.

We are professional LED Media Facade Manufacturer in China, We have made such kind of sphere led display in 2009 year in Philippines.
Sure hope there is a documentary coming about the construction and technology.
