We also homeschooled and put up with all types of abuse and questioning. It really does seem to threaten people when you choose a different path. Each to their own in my opinion
Ugh, why are people so nasty to parents who decide to take personal responsibility for their children's education. My mom homeschooled us and I wouldn't change that for anything! A good homeschooled kid will likely blow their public school counterparts out of the water(my sisters and I sure did). I think people are just plain jealous that they don't have the gumption to make homeschooling their kids an option, assuming there's not a very real reason they can't.
I'm sure people say all kinds of awful things - unfortunately. It's clear to me that Crystal and Mr. Bod are well qualified to homeschool their children. They are obviously both very intelligent, caring, and patient people. And yes - it's nobody else's business.

Nice yarns from Mary Maxim. Love your videos. I also love the mystery boxes I've purchased from your Etsy store. The last one I got I actually felt guilty because the yarn was so nice I knew there was no way you made much profit on it, if any at all. Mary Maxim originated if Manitoba! It is a family run business and l think it's on their fourth generation. I live in Michigan and used to go to Port Huron, MI (Michigan) several times a year to their giant retail store. Sadly, it closed a couple years ago but operates their online and catalog business from there and their warehouse is there. They still have retail stores in Canada (Ontario). I really, really miss the hours I'd spend in there ,petting and squishing all the yarn!
I LOVE the fact that you use some of your yarn for mystery boxes! There are always going to be people who can't be pleased no matter what, don't give them brain space.

Crystal, you do not need to explain anything, but it is nice to know some of what you do. Donations are always a great thing, especially when they get used for things that those who need the little bit of compassion here and there. I kinda thought you were putting a lot of these yarns into your mystery boxes that you offer for a really great price. And then what you use to teach us: how to crochet by doing your tutorials, when you do reviews and how they measure up against other yarns and if they are worth the price compared to others of comparable value. And we all know you make things for your kids, and your baby dresses and blankets are so beautiful! Lucky the little baby that gets to be swaddled in one of your own, original designs! So thanks Crystal for all you contribute to the crochet and knit communities!

I can only buy online as I live out in the country and am housebound so for me I watch you and a couple of others to see the yarns and then I can buy them online , as long as it's not blue , pet hate as I really dislike like blues 😊

I was finally able to order some yarn through a company and I chose Mary Maxim and let’s just say I love what I got. I ordered four one pound back of the mystery yarn. And when I called and talked to customer service I even mentioned that I follow you. Thank you for doing your unboxing videos!

Mary Maxim originated if Manitoba! It is a family run business and l think it's on their fourth generation. I live in Michigan and used to go to Port Huron, MI (Michigan) several times a year to their giant retail store. Sadly, it closed a couple years ago but operates their online and catalog business from there and their warehouse is there. They still have retail stores in Canada (Ontario). I really, really miss the hours I'd spend in there ,petting and squishing all the yarn!

Crystal, you do not need to explain anything, but it is nice to know some of what you do. Donations are always a great thing, especially when they get used for things that those who need the little bit of compassion here and there. I kinda thought you were putting a lot of these yarns into your mystery boxes that you offer for a really great price. And then what you use to teach us: how to crochet by doing your tutorials, when you do reviews and how they measure up against other yarns and if they are worth the price compared to others of comparable value. And we all know you make things for your kids, and your baby dresses and blankets are so beautiful! Lucky the little baby that gets to be swaddled in one of your own, original designs! So thanks Crystal for all you contribute to the crochet and knit communities!

I can only buy online as I live out in the country and am housebound so for me I watch you and a couple of others to see the yarns and then I can buy them online , as long as it's not blue , pet hate as I really dislike like blues 😊
