Finally, after TWO YEARS! We were able to organize another event. The 3rd edition of The Costume Market. Our families pride and joy.
The Costume Market is a costume flea market. to give costume enthusiast a platform to sell their no longer used costumes and materials. but also a platform for small vendors who can't afford to vend the big festivals. we welcome all genre's, Historical, fantasy, cosplay, re-enactment, drag, vintage!

I want to attend. But I live a continent away. :) I have participated in similar events as a vendor and one of the things that really was successful was that people who came to shop were told that the last 30 minutes of the day everything in the place was 25% off. To make this fair -and crazy fun- All customers had to leave the shopping area for 15 minutes prior to the last 30 min and vendors could remove anything that they just couldn't do the discount on. Then there was a stampede of people rushing back in to get the thing they wanted. It was an insane, mad, hilarious rush. I fully believe that lots of things sold just before the clearing of people because some could just not stand the idea that they might not be first back to get the coveted object. Then, lots of things sold in the last 30 minutes because humans are crazy.

🤔 How well advertised was this because until I saw your video I didn't even know it was a thing ❓❓❓❓❓❓ I hope you figure out how to add an online edition for those that do not live in the Netherlands. It would increase your sales and exposure.

It seemed like the area you had was smaller, just one room. Or am I misjudging the size of the area? I'm glad it was successful despite the rain and the short notice.

Do you mean in comparison to previous editions? Or in general? Normally the market is spread out over three rooms of which one is the big gym. Previous editions our stall is in the smaller back room. But because we had lesser stalls this edition, due to it being last minute and middle of the season. We were spread out over the two bigger rooms

@@Leeam in comparison to the market just before the Plague. That's the only previous market I can compare to. It's so hard sometimes to get a sense of size through video unless it's through overhead shots. This is not a suggestion, but one of those shots where someone tall, like Melchior, stood on a chair in a corner of the room, or rooms, and held the camera up over their head. Like seeing a forest from a distance gives a sense of how big it is rather then when one is in the forest and can only see the trees in the immediate area.
