Great review. I have two of these and they are worth every penny. We had kids belly laughing as we were going around burns and over rollers and bumps today. We bottom them out quite often. The kickstand takes a beating, but shows little scraps. Amazing
I recognised Fish Creek Park (Calgary, AB) at the start of the video. Cool! Hmm, I wonder if the boys are grown up and he now wants to sell me his trailer...
I wonder if this trailer would work great on a race bike (for cruising on belgian cobble roads) ? Can't find any information about that. Some (other) trailers are swinging when you hit some speed
Cobble roads could shake your kids brain, I'd advise caution and smoother roads/paths, light gravel etc for riding with a kid in the trailer til your child can ride its own bike.
It would work well - like any trailer though, if you stand to crank it, it sways side to side as aggressively as you crank. But it smooths the bumps super well.
Vubar You can buy the orange pillows from Tout Terrain. I know it looks like something around his neck there isn’t a thing. I did put some pads from a kids car seat on the harness straps as the straps are thin
My partner was concerned about this, so I did some experiments. I installed an app on my phone which uses the accelerometer to measure the vibrations and records them. You can then export and analyse in a spreadsheet, to measure RMS acceleration and maximum acceleration, plot graphs etc.. What I found was that at speeds of 20MPH on a rough tarmac road, the ride was smoother in a singletrailer than in my car or van on the same stretch of road at 40MPH or a decent off road buggy with suspension and pneumatic tyres all around. It really is a VERY smooth ride in the trailer with the shock and tyre pressures set right.
You could spend much more on any number of things which can fall on their side. These trailers are coupled to the bike in such a way that they cannot fall over unless the bike itself goes over, unlike a 2 wheel trailer.

What if your bike falls over? Will the child be hurt?

Are there any close competitors to this trailer? Surely the market offers something more affordable.
Nothing else out there that is readily available and even this one is not made anymore
¿están en Amazon????
I’m in Colorado. But I can’t seem to figure out how to get one of these.
Definitly hard to get a hold of one. Did you contact Tout Terrain Directly?
Hi, great video.
What is your child wearing around the neck? I couldnt find anything similar. thx

@@TheBikeDads thank you for your answer and your video. yesterday the tout terrain came with the mail :)
Dude, where did you get yours? Here in Calgary or online order?
Call Sean at BikeBike in Inglewood- Great guys and shop
$1,800?! No wonder it’s no longer available…
For real! I didn’t know how they come up with that price.
Perfect for a emtb uphill 🤪
How are you attaching the balance bike to your pack? I'm about to try this, but I haven't had any good ideas yet.
Axess Denyd It’s a mountaineering bike pack. Works awesome but it is not cheap outentic.com
Calgary guy :-)
Bike trailer work wonders in getting a baby to sleep. Just ride on a paved bike path and they'll be asleep the whole time. But each kidnis different
🔥👍🏻
Ola. Sou do Brasil. Queria comprar um trailer destes.
2grand! Shit I'll build my own.
Convenient timing eh?
The Dadavist totally. How Danny rode this trailer a little harder than I did. Mind blowing really...
@@TheBikeDads only a little bit
I'd be careful, babies don't stand shaking at all... Good review though

@@fenby1976 good to know!
Danny day care on u tube uses this
He rides it with a little more style than us. 🤣
Why this "music"?
Made in Germany 😀
Riding with this open seems like an excellent way to hurt the kid with some random rock from under the wheel.
It has a mud flap to catch debris from the adult bike
only $2,000.
ONLY!!
2k and it can fall on its side
It has a kickstand
