- Backyard makeover including a covered deck and patio transformation, and you can see the whole project come together in this time lapse video! This entire backyard build took about 2 months and had a ton of features including built in bench seating around the outdoor kitchen, privacy wall with 85" TV, 4 infrared heaters in the tongue and groove ceiling, gas fire pit down on the patio, along with all the surrounding landscaping and so much more! That's because they didn't cut a single corner, every bit of this was well above code and should be the actual standard of building. They could have legally done the deck with 2 foot centers but the framed it at a much higher standard, this job will outlast the house.

Appears to me that this is not an expensive community, and the house is not at high end, so it's safe to say the deck worth more than the house, bad investment.
Folks, this is what a perfect outdoor build looks like, they did so much here that the regular person doesn't know about or would even check for. I've been in the building business for 40 years and this is one of the very rare perfect jobs. I don't know where you work out of but I'm betting you've raised the standards 2000 % . Excellent job and I sincerely hope the homeowners know just how rare your company is. Just the best job ever.

Looks super nice!! Only wish they would've vaulted the ceilings and put in a big sky light as the roof blocked basically all of the light going into the house. But the design is flawless, modern, functional, luxurious!
Yeah, seemed like a huge waste to cover up that huge deck from the sun.

@@anythingwewant604 The reason for blocking all that sunlight is because the sun coming through creates lightening of the color what ever it hits, also depending on where it is having skylights significantly heats an area like that up. They knew exactly what they were doing. This is a perfect job.
No I think they built it right, that's why they have the outdoor area near the fire pit for sunbathers. It would be nice to sit on that deck on a warm day with a cold beer. Go downstairs for the sun.
The skill, work and effort put into anything people make with their hands is attractive as hell. This is gorgeous!!!

That’s one of the most beautiful craftsmanship videos I’ve ever seen , I’m 44 now , and if I could go back and start my career over it’ll probably be carpentry and hopefully end up doing something like this

I'm in the stage of starting my building apprenticeship and see it through. I would love to be able to do something like this when I own my own house.
Love the horizonal cables on the railing. Would love that for my railing but it's against code here (ON, Canada) if the deck is higher than a foot off the ground. Something about children climbing it too easily and falling. Bah! Looks great!

Unfortunately...sometimes if there is a pattern of lateness, this can translate to lack of consideration, care, and ultimately love to some people.
It can feel like rejection and dismissal too...so, because it’s scary to be vulnerable, often people will get mad. It’s like saying “how dare you love me so little to not acknowledge how I try to love you”...by not communicating you’ll be late, or might not being consistent, and reliable.
Often wives won’t get mad...if you respectfully give a heads up. “Hey, I’m running an hour late, don’t worry about dinner”, or “today I have a long project, don’t have a time frame for when I’ll be home...but when I do, I’ll let you know”.
As long as consistent, dependable communication, and respect is happening...you can prevent much anger.
Depending on the person’s attachment style, they also have core wounds that can be activated..you could be triggering some pretty intense pain points.
“Anything that is hysterical, is historical”
It’s like when someone slaps your sunburn. The sunburn was already there, maybe they couldn’t see it...because of a shirt, but that slap hurts.
If you know your wife’s attachment style and her core wounds, you can do things that encourage trust, connection and respect...she’ll feel loved...and be way less likely to be angry. It means you can be late from work too, as long as you keep her in the loop (that’s an expression of trust building and respect).
@@Alphacentauri819 Some spouses can handle habitual excuse making and some can't. How important is a photo at sunset? In this particular instance, not very, so go home and be part of the family.
