    This game is a treat. Starts a little slow, but once you get the hang of the combat and the story begins to unravel, you get easily hooked. The amount of choice you have to portray your character the way you want is incredible. I have almost 600 hours in Inquisition. A tip: playing with a controller on PC is very nice.

      Great comment. Ever since playing this I have been thinking about going back (and definitely with controller). If we get a release date during summer games fest for dreadwolf I may have to...

      The controller vibration when closing a rift with a controller adds a lot of immersion.
      Tip: there’s a known bug where the controller vibration stop working after fast travel, but there’s a mod to fix it.

    I actually play Dragon Age Inquisition 4 times on my PS4 so I can try out the 4 races. I never found the game to be that boring as a lot of people said it was. Here’s my list of Inquisitors.
    Male Elf Knight Enchanter. Romanced Cassandra
    Female Human Tempest. Romanced Cullen
    Female Dwarf Assassin. Romanced Blackwall
    Male Qunari Reaver. Romanced Josephine

    I have played through the entire franchise on many occasions. Even 2. As such I played through Inquisition many times too. The last time on Steam where I did a single playthrough. I played through the main story. All of the DLC. All of the side quests and activities of the main game, most of the collectibles of the main game. Most of the side quests in the DLC and some of the collectibles in the DLC. It took me 98 hours. The game has some problems, but I love it. As soon as the release date for Dreadwolf gets announced I will run through it again.

      It's good. Try again and just rush through the story. The thing most people did not enjoy was how long the first act of the game felt because of how big the Hinterlands are. Just do the main missions and you'll be hooked.

    • @SeventhheavenDK
      @SeventhheavenDK 3 месяца назад +1

      The game is mediocre at best, so I don't blame you. Don't waste more of your time with this game if you have already gone through it twice and disliked it.
      The main missions are just like 20% of the game (and the story is not that great either compared with the other two games).
      It also has the most bland and boring protagonist in the series, the weakest cast of companions (character wise) among the 3 games, and the worst villain in the series as well (this one was such a wasted potential).

    • @GabrielPassarelliG
      @GabrielPassarelliG 3 месяца назад

      @@SeventhheavenDK That game is not mediocre. You dislike it, but it hasn't won Game of the Year from multiple providers if it wasn't, at least at that time, an incredible game.
      About the missions, yes, if you rush through the game, doing only the main missions, you can finish it in about 20h, and some of the main quests are not the best. But they are varied and you get so much lore out of each quest, that they feel worthy.
      About companions, how can you say the most uninspiring cast from the entire series? Solas, Dorian, Cassandra, Cole, Ironbull... How are them not better than Carver, Sten, Wynne, Sebastian, etc? For me, Dorian and Solas are better than Leliana. And let's not forget Varric.
      Please, your negative opinion is not an universal, factual truth, so don't state it like if it was.

    • @SeventhheavenDK
      @SeventhheavenDK 3 месяца назад

      GabrielPassarelli. And what is what triggers you so much? 😂
      The OP already said he/she disliked the game, so I don't even understand the need you have to discuss this.
      The game won GOTY by mere luck, that was a bad year for gaming. Inquisition was the only mediocre game in a sea of below average games. Nobody except for Inquisition fans remember that Goty and the games that were nominated for that year.
      Also, the Witcher 3 was going to be released that year as well very close to Inquisition, and was delayed. Do you seriously think Inquisition had even been looked at if the Witcher 3 hadn't been delayed? 😂.
      And it actually happened once the Witcher was released Inquisition was forgotten (except for its obsessed niche fanboys, like you), and many realized how flawed and poor Inquisition was after seeing the quality of the Witcher. And nowadays Inquisition doesn't have the best of reputations, so you are right. YOUR opinion is not universal.
      Inquisition has some of the worst mechanics of the franchise.
      1) the horrific war table and its badly designed timers.
      2) the filler that makes part of the 80% of the game.
      3) The open, big, but EMPTY areas.
      4) The downgrade in combat to make it for casuals. The lack of the tactical menu for the AI companions.
      5) Some of the worst and dumbed down spell trees
      6) Lack of battle music for every optional area.
      7) The boring and bad designed gathering on materials and herbs at every step.
      8) Mediocre story, only Here Lies the Abyss and What Pride had wrought are somewhat decent, and the ending locked behind a paywall, which is good but very overrated, as the only real good part is the ending.
      9) the most uninspired subquests in the series, that actually are what make most of the game's length.
      I am sure I am missing more flaws.

    • @SeventhheavenDK
      @SeventhheavenDK 3 месяца назад +1

      And yes, it's definitely the most uninspiring cast of the series.
      Dorian? The walking cliché that mere existence is just to tell you that he is gay, how he is discriminated, and how fabulously flamboyant he is?
      Cole? 😂 😂 😂. One of the most annoying characters
      Even characters like Nathaniel, Ariane and Finn who do not have much screen time are better than him.
      Iron Bull? Better than Sten? Especially with this one I cannot begin caring less about your opinion. And don't let me start with that moronic scene where Iron Bull lectures you about transexuality. Whatever your stance ins in the matter, I hated how they spit in Origins' Qun lore just to fit their agenda. The chargers were also very annoying with the exception of the "I am not a mage" elf.
      Solas and Cassandra? Yes, they were good, even Vivianne was somewhat good, I would say they were some the few exceptions in that game, and I don't like Solas, but I admit his character is well written, even tho I think he is quite of exaggerated, it's obviously a character the writers like, and sometimes they went over the board with him.
      Varric? Yes, he was great in DA2, one of my favorite characters, but in Inquisition he was a totally different character, a boring one , a mere shadow of himself (just like most of Inquisition characters).
      I have no opinions on Sebastian and Carver, precisely because I never found Sebastian interesting so I never bought that DLC, and always choose Bethany over Carver.
