- Can You Beat Doc Louis's Punch-Out!! Wii Without Dodging? We completed Punch Out!! Wii's Title Defense and Contender career modes with no dodges, so it's time to finish this no dodge challenge series with taking down this 2009 ClubNintendo reward. As the Wii Shop comes to a close, let's send out in this spinoff Punch-Out game with no guarding, no blocking, and, of course, no dodging! So let's do this no dodge challenge today folks - on this episode of Skip the Tutorial's Play by the Rules!

I like to think that Doc Louis in his leopard print shirt is his “Title-Defense” mode, like every other fighter.
The difference is a chocolate bar
He gets more aggressive and instead of chocolate heals via an entire cake that cannot be knocked out of his hands, and will counter if you try

They should make a prequel level where you play as Doc Louis in his prime in the next Punch-out similar to how Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney 3 opens.

Why a prequel level?
Just do Doc Louis' Punch Out the GAME. Instead of Mac you're Louis. And there's a [mostly] new roster to fight, although lorewise we know Louis fought a younger Bald Bull so he has to be in it.
@@raikaria3090 How long ago was Doc's boxing career? I think it'd be pretty cool if we got to see a very young Little Mac watching his fights on TV or ringside and at the end of the game we see him shadowboxing in his room inspired by Doc's fights.
Would be cool to see younger versions of some of the classic boxers like Macho Man, Soda Popinski and Bald Bull before he was Bald v:

This series has really made me wanna try out this game! It's funny how I main Little Mac in Smash Bros but have never played any of his games.

It’s a masterpiece and kind of a hidden gem that deserved way more love.
It’s a shame Mac is so annoying to use and deal with in Smash. Making him play the way he did really doesn’t translate the Punch Out gameplay that well.

You couldn’t anyway, because even if you make it through the whole fight, if you don’t knock out the chocolate bar, he will just constantly heal.

I don't have Tyson's Punch-Out.
I got really close one time (one hit away) and once ran out of time
Use a bunch of right punches to the face and then when you get the super punch, use that until you knock him down. When he gets up again, use some more super punches until you KO or TKO him
If blocking is banned as well, good luck. I kinda doubt macho man, mad clown, and quarlow are doable.

Doc Louis' Punch-Out!! was made available again right as Club Nintendo was about to shut down, which is when I got it, so it's not just limited to Club Nintendo members from 2009. It was actually really cool that they brought it back one last time before the program shut down.

I like to think Mac found Doc in this broken-down old gym, and asked him to train him. Doc said no at first, but after a while, told Mac that if he could beat him, he would help. He secretly wanted to help, and so is calling out his punches, urging him on, and generally being really helpful.
I would love to see a prequel punch-out game where you play as Doc in his journey to becoming the world champion.
