I have been playing about four years. I have a P-125 and like it very much. Others who have been playing much longer than I have say that it is great instrument for the beginner/intermediate player.
Just bought it 2 days ago. My experience so far is being very positive and fun. Love the piano voices including the e-piano. The keys action is amazing, yet a bit slippery. The overall reaction is wow. For an entry-level piano, my thumb is UP.
I was looking for a digital piano and had been undecided for a few weeks. thanks to you I finally decided. the piano is fantastic, what I look for and you are fantastic in playing and explaining. thank you very much
No, kidding, this video was so good it helped me make the decision to buy this P125. It has so many impressive features, that were demonstrated really well. Excellent demo video. Nice. Merry Christmas to me.
Wonderful product. The sound is very realistic, it's simplistic to use and the interface is fairly user friendly. For a beginner like myself I enjoy the sound, the feel and the pushback of the keys which mimic a real grand piano. Overall an excellent product and excellent purchase
I purchased the P-125. It is beautiful. BUT, I would like consumers to be aware the recommended i-UX1 cable (to use the Smart Pianist app) which is recommended uses the outdated 30-pin technology. So, after purchasing I-UX1 for $79.99, I had to purchase an Apple lightning to 30-pin adapter. Also, the reviews state that Apple will soon be discontinuing this adapter. The 30-pin connection is 7-8 years old. YAMAHA - where is the updated cable? We are in the era of smart phones, ipads and lightning cables. This is my only frustration with the purchase.
not only did this convince me to buy the piano, it also caused me to just double check the price on Kraft (as opposed to ordering from amazon by default). Turned out to be cheaper so I ordered with Kraft. thanks for the review.
I'm finding Gabriel Aldort's reviews to be among the best. I'm getting a lot of information for finding out what kind of gig piano I can get for what I want to spend.
Bought p 115 from Kraft Music, few years ago. Great piano Great company. Was a good price. Got it fast and in great shape!!! Got the z Stand VERY sturdy. ;-)))
Great full review ! I'm probably going to buy this piano because of it (I was previously going for the Casio privia PX360). I had totally forgotten about the Smart pianist app which is superb, I will be buying a cheap tablet or wait for android support (coming soon hopefully?). Thanks !

It sounds quite good with the onboard speakers, enough sound for the pianist and for a 12x12' small room. With full volume it sounds a bit noisy, up to 75% volume is alright.
Does anybody know if when using the android version of the smart pianist app you can use Spotify in conjuction with it instead of an ipad with iTunes? Cheers Craig

Well, got one on 6 Oct, it CAN record audio file (Wave and other formats) to a computer through the USB directly, a big update over P115. It can also be used as the computer speaker for playback when connected through USB. I used Audacity, it worked fine. Smart Pianist on Android is still not supported, waiting for the app to be updated. My first ever piano and happy with the 4 different piano sounds, thanks to Yamaha!

No, I'm pretty sure as of now there's no way to change the action of the piano no mater what voice/sound you use. Your best bet is to buy a small 61 keyboard or synthesizer which aren't weighted but have the electrical sounds, theyre cheaper than these weighted digital pianos.
Lol. I like how he says Yamaha. “Yamahaw”
I have a p-125 at home and I’m in love
I can believe that now I have this p125 of my own❤️

It is now 2020 Dec.
Is it compatible with Android , could anyone tell me please.

Wow! I bought my first piano a Yamaha YDP- 144 and I'm really pleased with it.
Came here to peruse a digital piano, left feeling like I've accomplished nothing meaningful in my life; he took that skill deep.
I want to start learning how to play the piano and the Yamaha P125 it is. Thanks for the video!
The Yamaha P125 is absolutely stunning, very good piano to start with!
Ladies and gentleman.. this, is how you sell a product.
Also, this guy's awesome.
This guy's a beast!
The Concert Grand sounds so good!!!
Wow, that really sounds clear.when I learn to play my piano which I can only make noise on I'll look into Yamaha
Sold. Im deciding out of this or the Korg Sp175

Amazing Demo and great musician, i love this guy :-)
wtf it sounds so good its unreal
What a breeze! Incredible video!

You get a like, My wife is getting this for Christmas.
Nice presentation. But how many fantastic features does this board have compared to the incredible ones?
Can you layer, and split at the same time? Bass, piano, and strings.

Yup, AAC is proprietary, indeed. But, it's not owned by Apple. And, it's standardized.

P125 is better than P115 which is much better than P45. So yes it is very much worth getting the P125 instead of P45.
Thanks for the demo for P-125. I wonder if I can make my own rhythm and there is any appl for the rhythm something like tango, beguine, rumba, slowrock for P-125.

Use a good recording camera, and get a good microphone connected!
You can use some fur like cloth around the microphone of the phone or camera you are using to reduce noise and increasing clarity
yeah its easy
Hi, which key action is faster, more confortable and reliable between Yamaha P515 and this P125?. Thanks!.
Anyone who has one confirm if the keys cause fingers to slip. I have an older plastic key yamaha but keys can be slippery at times.
Gabriel thank u so much
U r amazing
Thank u for such swt sincere review human ...
GOD bless u brother
@10:15 shows how to split the keyboard into R&L hand different instruments.
I'm watching this video with the sound come through my Yamaha P-125!
How did you get the sound to go through the speakers?
How do you do that?
Very informative and what a talented guy...Thank You

We are almost in 2020 can I use it on an Android tablet...?
NOPE -- Yamaha works only with Apple products... one of the reasons, I do not buy these anymore!
how about no... ?
Indeed, I purchased an Android tablet and would also know when they are going to release the Android version.
I ordered this piano and also want to know if Android device is supported already..
Yes yes.
Using the app with line out , does it sound as well ? Or does those sounds in the app only work for the piano speakers ?
Its actually Yamohaw what he said. lol
Please do Demo with P45B digital piano. Gotta but this one due to budgetary issues.

can you hook this up into native instruments and use itn as a midi ?
Edward Abdilla Balzan yes, they have a midi input.
This guy could make any keyboard sound great I’m sure 🎹😊
Why did Yamaha keep the old GHS action on this? IMO the FP30 has the best action in this price range.
Could you please make a video on how to connect the P125 to an iPad with wires and wireless 🙏🙏🙏
You can find all the info in the manual for the instruments. Remember to update the firmware of the device otherwise the apps might not work.
I heard we need the lightning cable + midi cable??
Will the Smart Pianist app be available for the P115 on Android? Please include the p115

Google Play Store says the Android version of Smart Pianist for P125 will be available "June 2019".
How does it sound unplugged? With the built in speakers? Kind of misleading that you don’t state that your piano is plugged in.
I could see @ 8:39, to the left of the screen is a speaker system wit a red light on it.
Get a sound bar

Jazz Guitar Apart from Smart Pianist App, is it compatible with other software like Sonar, Reason, Audacity?
It is true, you can not record directly from the piano in Wav format, perhaps if you can use the SmartPianist application
Can hook it up to a Zoom and get Wav/MP3, right?
Well, got one on 6 Oct, it CAN record audio file (Wave and other formats) to a computer through the USB directly, a big update over P115. but i bought this piano like 6 months ago i love it and there is an Android version now
Btw i also have an android phone
the Smart Pianist app is now available on Playstore
Now there is android app which wasn't available the time they made this video
you can use it with android, or without a tablet/phone from what I’ve read

No I think he said Yamaha.

they are same , the p 125 its just upgraded version

Do the keys stay weighted when playing the electric piano sounds? It would be cool, but I think it would be very hard to engineer.
No, I'm pretty sure as of now there's no way to change the action of the piano no mater what voice/sound you use. Your best bet is to buy a small 61 keyboard or synthesizer which aren't weighted but have the electrical sounds, theyre cheaper than these weighted digital pianos.
