The redstone room isn't NEARLY big enough
At least not if i was doing the redstone. do you plan on destroying builds in this room, or is everything going to kept so it's an actual "museum" with showpieces?
Yeah the redstone room is specifically for designing things and then they will be torn down and put in the museum if they are any good. The museum itself will need to be fairly large to house all the redstone contraptions I want to put in it.

Hey etho, you can posible program wilson to eat healthier food such as carrots, apples beetroots will make him lose his weight and you can also make it so that he takes swiftness potions to make him get skinner ( speed makes you go faster so its like he is skinner and can run faster, idk i hope this is seen by you and is considered

with wilson, you could make an exercise button that lowers his weight, but also his happiness (makes it more of a balancing act). you could also implement a timed delay before the button can be pressed again (exhaustion), or add in a health foods thing. feeding him apples, carrots, and/or beetroots could lower his weight slightly.
also, how does the Ethonian museum of redstone history sound?
I think some foods give lower amounts of weight than others. It doesn't really make sense for food to reduce weight. He could loose weight faster when he's sick though.
or instead of a boring button, have Etho run through an obstacle course or something.
But exercise releases endorphins which makes us happier. However, exercise does make us tired, and we need to take a break after doing so. Having Wilson exercise should have a cooldown period for him to rest, in which he also gets hungrier.
How about 2 or 4 exercise levers sticking out of the sides of Wilson, to represent his arms and legs. Etho has to run back and forth, flicking them on and off within a certain window of time from each other, to reduce Wilson's weight.
+EthosLab if you had to pick a Redstone item to be removed from the game like Redstone Block, Repeater, etc which would you pick. Must Choose. Your Awesome

Technically they do, but I meant a more important Redstone item

Like the red stone laboratory. If you changed any colors maybe try whites, blues, grays, and maybe some orange. The reasoning behind that is because the build kind of reminds me of Aperature Science labs from the Portal series.

and the spectral arrows don't mark the tnt as you shoot the block, the arrow is destroyed (from the code) and the block is broken, and tnt is spawned.

Hey Etho. Long text, but worth it.
Here is a possible solution for instant display reset:
Once you hit 10 you just take the signal out of the other dropper which now has zero swords in it and use the length from that one.
Furthermore you can take the signal with an repeater from the end of the display, loop it back to the start, instead of having to check if the droppers are empty. Input signal would have to be switch between both droppers once hitting 10, with a sticky piston and a stone block, by checking the looping single and the input signal at 10. This signal then can also be used to add one to the top row. Done. Way smaller and easily stackable on top of each other.
Can't he just make a button that pushes a block over the signal to cut it off?
Which signal? No, cutting the wire/signal wouldnt allow him to directly start counting up again. With my setup there is almost zero delay and you can just keep counting up again. There is no downtime, because i switch once one dropper is full and the other empty, always using the comparator output of the dropper which starts at 0 and then adds swords.

If he cuts a wire temporary to turn off all lamps doesnt fix that he has to wait till all 9 swords are transfered back into the first dropper.

Because when you are doing a collab video it's hard to organize times to have everyone play at the same time. When such an opportunity appears, he has to take it thus meaning he has less time to record single player videos.

Etho, judging from your difficulty in hitting that button, you need to lower your dpi quite significantly. You're experiencing what's known as pixel skipping, caused by excess mouse sensitivity. You're not capable of making the minute cursor movements necessary for accurate shooting or small target acquisition. Just something you might want to look into improving.
Or he's just forgetting that stone buttons can't be activated with arrows.

For Wilson's weight problem, you could have various "training machines" you have to use to make him fit. I was thinking maybe something as simple as jumping up and down a pressure plate or pressing a button on your left and right side in a quick succession to simulate various exercises. This would make it more engaging and the whole thing about Tamagotchis was the amount of time you had to spend on them! Keep up the good work.

You can use some minecarts with hoppers in your system by using an activator rail:
The hopper can be disabled by passing over a powered activator rail, and can be reenabled by an inactive activator rail.

To do excersize with wilson you have to click a button then a dog will pop up called wilson and you have to move him over to another spot further away to lose weight.

Perhaps a few cells built into the walls, protected by glass... Could contain the basic red stone mechanics (eg mono-stable circuit, comparator clock, and-game, etc). Paired with a button, this might be an easy way to display/demonstrate those simple ideas... Not that they're "simple", I truly blow at red stone. Other than that, should the walls not consist solely of red stone blocks?! Ha, only joking. That would really burn the eyes. Game on!

okay first the flaming arrows from flaming skeletons, and then the redstone torches burning out WITH A SOUND EFFECT. I learn new things from old videos all the time. I thought redstone torches burning out was essentially a bug, but the sound effect added means it's intentional or at least accepted and integrated.... wow

Hey Etho!! it was counting up double 10's when you had it running quickly! that is why it was "64" not 54 like you had though same thing happened from 30-40 and 10-20. could distinctly hear the 2 clicks of the droppers.

Etho, I'm often impressed by the energy, motivation and imagination of full time Minecrafters. I don't even have that for things I do for myself. How do you maintain these qualities and keep yourself from going crazy? Do you ever feel "minecrafter's block" (like writer's block or artist's block), and what do you do to get over it?
