    Thank you for sharing this trip. I´ve seen all four parts from Toronto. A lot of beautiful scenery and impressions. The best of all ia that you don't use music. Only ambient sound. And no talking, but nice and informative texting. Thank you. Greetings from Thailand. :-)

    I'm itching to go on another train trip. Which do you prefer? VIA or Amtrak? How do they compare?

      My favorite route is VIA Rail's Canadian followed by Amtrak's Empire Builder & California Zephyr tied for a very close second place. I find the onboard accommodations are comparable for both systems. Cheers, Pete

    Thanks, though as a Seattleite I’m baffled as to why you call it the LRT. Everyone here just refers to it as Light Rail. If you asked someone where the LRT is, you’d likely get a quizzical look.

      LRT is what they call it in Toronto

      Thx for the feedback, LRT stands for Light Rail Transit, but good to know the local jargon.
