Great I’m new to quick books and left in a huge accounting mess. We have entered all supplier invoices as bills. Arhh well that’s what the accountant told me to do- paid for help who knew QB . !!! So then marked them as paid to get it to exp. But my bank rec does not match and loads of duplicates. !!!
If there are duplicate transactions in one account and it is linked to another account, do I need to remove duplicates in BOTH accounts? It's all becoming a blur and I feel like I'm making my QBO books worse the more I try to 'fix' these accounts. Thanks in advance for your insight.
If you have bank feeds connected, you will be able to safely delete a transaction with the overlapping green rectangles - because it will just put the transaction back in Banking. So for transactions linked to another account, try deleting a transaction with overlapping green rectangles. Then go to banking and see if you can find a match for that transaction.
We need more videos thank you
You promised a video on how to fix duplicates but no other video on your channel. Are you still using this channel or you have another channel?

I do not see your other video on how to fix this.
Because I never got around to creating the video. My apologies!
Nooo!!! You explained it so well!
