During my days in the US Navy, I rode on a British Destroyer and watched the helo's land in rough weather. They have a 'plug' under the helicopter that will grab into a mesh deck on the helo pad.
10:30. The door opening on a small plane is absolutely no big thing. It will only open about two inches. The plane is not pressurized. Depending on airplane, you can usually close and lock it.
6:15 in case u aren't joking - the pilot is pulling back on the stick (thus creating downward 'G's', which push u down in your seat and make sure drink etc is all staying down) at the SAME TIME, all the while, as doing the roll, to maintain at least 1g (gravity)! It's amazing control skill
In the reference frame of the airplane, even 1/2 or 1/4 g would be totally fine to make a drink pour downward. At the top of the loop, yes, the absolute acceleration of the plane (or relative to the earth) has to be more than 1g downward, but g loads are normally measured relative to the airplane. (Since that's what matters for drink pouring, blackouts, redouts, and over-Ging the airframe.) Much lower than 1/4g and any forward or backward acceleration (beyond what gravity is doing, i.e. due to drag or thrust) could start to change the direction that you feel as "down", so you might miss the cup. And the liquid might pour noticeably slower.
Working as a tradie on the Townsville base ( in Australia) was absolutely amazing back in the day...at smoko we would watch the Black Hawks do their training, hover then rip off into the sky like a beast possessed...crazy stuff! Thanks for this one 👍

Not just the shutter speed (frame rate), but that it's a "rolling shutter". Different parts of the frame capture at different times, which is why they look bent, not just freeze-framed. (Frame rate lining up with the props rotation rate and symmetry is why they aren't motion blurred, though, that's correct.)
Taking a guess but thinking the prop appearing bent may be due to the tip speed being faster than the hub so synchronizing different with the camera frame rate

Some can do 3:1 which is 3 forward for every 1 down. So it doesn't have to be as steep as that clip. Maybe it was that steep in order to get both plane and wingsuit at the same trajectory and speed.
6:27 it's pretty easy. The jet is doing a high G-force turn (in this case they do a loop at high spped at a "tight" turn radius). Gravity is basically just the aceleration towards the earth (9.81m/s² wich is also called 1G). If your turn reaches an acceleration of over 1G you can make this happen. It is the same principle that is used in 0G flights where a plane has a high climb rate and at the top they force the nose down. That creates negative G. If the plane reaches 1G towards the sky the 1G towards the earth and the 1G towards the sky cancel each other out wich causes the plane to have 0G for a short moment.

Remember, when they went and pulled on the brakes, and the other plane was on the opposite side of the mountain. Then they released the brakes, and opened the thrusters up to be the ones chasing. It’s insane how capable they are today. I remember watching the fighter jets, as they slid their wings from 90 degrees, to being angled back, all the way. Then the after burners fired up, and they accelerated stupid fast. As if they were sitting still before.
Go check out SAAB Draken, I think that’s where the inspiration comes from. In the mid to late 50s they figured out you could pull up 90 degrees and it slowed down real fast, and then when you flipped it back the massive engine got you back to speed. It’s not as dramatic and funny as in the movies, but it’s a WTF moment if you see it:) Surprised we did get any Draken, Viggen, or Gripen. They all do crazy stuff.

My parents live quite near Duxford and when the last Vulcan was doing a flypast there it used a Water Tower on a hill as a waypoint marker for when in a holding pattern. I got to see it fly directly over us 4 times very low- it was fantastic.

My father did a minimum same landing without gear. He tould me he even didn‘t know to have no gear, because he had green lights. But expect the propeller only a few scratches.

To explain how the trick with pouring a drink upside down works, the trick works thanks to centrifugal forces. Swing an open bucket full of water vertically over your head and you will have the same result.The water will stay in the bucket. You can also still add water theoretically even when upside down, because contents are being pressed away from the centre of the centrifusion.

Where I worked, it was called a deck lock. Basically a claw on a hydraulic ram grabs onto a specially designed matrix on the deck of the ship.

Swing an open bucket full of water vertically over your head and you will have the same result.The water will stay in the bucket. You can also still add water theoretically even when upside down, because contents are being pressed away from the centre of the centrifusion.

The narrator didn't say "converted plane", he actually said "convertiplane", which is another name for a plane which can switch from VTOL to normal flight and back again in mid-air. HTH.
