I’m curious about being a “professional knife sharpener” . Would like to hear more about that! I love sharpening , just don’t know how to make a business of it. Thx
How essential do you think the micro-adjustment option is? I want to cover as many bases as possible with a single sharpening system, but at the same time, I want to be practical and not overcomplicate things, so I'm not sure if it's worth the extra cost in the long run. Great video, and thanks!
Thanks for watching! The easiest explanation I can say is that the micro adjust can save you time and gives you more options for the knives that you want to sharpen If you are already considering investing in a Gen 4 Pro might as well go all out. That being said if you do want to save some money the Gen 4 without Micro Adj. is still a great option but you may spend more time removing material to reprofile an edge Hope that helps
If I wanted the 2ndary bevel to be dead center regardless would that make the microadjust moot? Is there a scenario other than the differential angle blades (I don't have any) where it would still be useful? Also is it pretty sturdy? I worry about things like that breaking as it's another potential failure point. On the one hand, I'd rather have it and not need it but would also be super irritated if I bought something for a grand and somehow it broke (even with a lifetime warranty, shipping something like that is a hassle). Finally, for small recurves, say like the spyderco dodo (2+" recurve blade) would this work?
I am not sure I entirely understand your question so before I answer can you please clarify- are you talking about sharpening at the same angle? Or more of the same motion per side? There is micro adjust options if you wish to have offset bevels
$1500. Hard pass. This system sharpens like no other I have ever used. I have the (I think it's called) Portable kit. It was insanely expensive at about $400 almost ten years ago. But the $1500 is a new level of absurdity. Time for the everyday person to find a different system.
I looked it up. It’s a $25 to $40 device, all manual. One grit. Fine for a knife from Walmart, but I wouldn’t trust my Spyderco or Benchmade knives with premium steel with it.
Just bought one and got the case. I’m really excited to give it a shot. Thanks for your review video.
Absolutely! Thank you for watching
Stay Sharp🤘🏽⚔️
Dude I honestly don't how you don't get more views and traction in this space. You've got some great videos.

I saw it demonstrated at the Atlanta Blade Show. I doubt most of us can afford one. But thank you for reviewing it. It's now added to my wishlist. 👍
Absolutely! It certainly is an investment ✅⚔️💯
I like the prof but having two bars seems incredibly convenient
A chef I worked for had one of these, and they were great. I’m actually fixing to get one myself.
@mahbuddykeith1124 Awesome! I hope it serves you well! I love mine- stay sharp 🤘🏽⚔️
I bought My Pro model 4 and it works great! It included the hard case..
Rock on!!! I’m happy it came with a case
(As it should!)

I insta can see the issue with the locking jaw.. you cannot do fillet knfes properly with 12degree angle due locker is in the way
You can do fillet knives but for super thin knives they offer stabilizers and support systems

Ehat lipstick you are using?
Whichever one your mom had on
(Great kisser)
Excellent video. I have the Gen 3 Pro. Don't think I will ugrade. Cost too high
I want to trade my gen 3 in for this one. Reason is the lower angle to 12 degrees.
Does it only go down to 12 degree angle? Kinda strange they didn’t go down to 8. Unfortunate
I believe 12 is the low however you can get a low angle adaptor and go even lower!
I thought you used a grinding wheel circa 1500 to sharpen your knives.
I used to drive fast and hang out the side of my car but this produces better edges 😂😂
That is very exciting. @@tacticaltavern
Out of stock already. Must be extremely popular!
Really!! Wow
Should be restocking soon- keep an eye out for the black friday sale!
Great idea! Wouldn’t hurt waiting a few weeks to see if they get them back in stock and give a discount or include freebies etc for Black Friday.
Am I mistaken, or are you forced to sharpen both sides at the same angle? Something they use to preach against.

I prefer sharpens best...
What is that ?
Great question- what is that??

🔥🔪🔥😍
1500? Just spend that on a tsprof with good stones and never look back 😂
Really??
@@tacticaltavern on a serious note check the KO3 with the digital angle stone holder youd be surprised
@@tacticaltavern Yeah try the K03 with the Angle finder on the stone holder that thing is something else
