One of the most comfortable watches, and beautiful at the same time, only hope they reduce the limited editions
Excellent and fair commentary! Any manufacturer with decent skill can slap a sw200 into a case (be it titanium/rose gold or not), but the strenuous commitment to details and going that extra mile is what distinguishes a watch maker from a watch manufacturers and as such I believe that the classic fusion, although a beautiful piece, fails to cut itself a place in horology.

Great video, I am not a fan of Hublot, to be honest, even Hublot wearers tend to be on the flashy side.
But each their own, I never judge anyone by their watch, only if they are wearing a 55mm Invicta :D

The title of this video comes across as quite critical of Hublot as a serious watchmaker, that’s for sure. As I listen to your presentation, your observations are more thoughtful and subtle, but man, oh man...that title!
Did you watch the macro and movement shots? That’s where you start to separate where a watch is made out of love, and where it’s made just for a job.

I own Classic Fusion 42 King Gold on Steel black dial. Looks great and wears comfortable. But it is easy to get scratched. After 1.5 Yrs, it was broken and cannot do winding

For the same price, you can get a full gold watch from brands like Rolex, Zenith, and other major horloger. And they have a better reputation amongst connoisseurs. Therefore this is totally overpriced. Nice watch. But ridiculous price.

It’s actually a really beautiful watch. But the finishing and not using in house movement keeps me away. This could be a real competitive watch if they tried.

The macro shot is disappointing. The watch however looks nice, I’m not going to lie. I would buy it at half the price they’re selling for sure.
I fell in to Hublot’s trap before. Got fooled by a pack of convincing Hublot sales guys and purchased a rose gold Big Bang. Worst watch I have ever owned. Very uncomfortable on the wrist. I sold the watch when it was 2 years old, barely worn and lost over 60% of what I paid for it. They are garbage watches. They price Hublots very high to create an illusion that they are fine pieces but in fact they are nothing compared to APs and Pateks which they are trying to imitate
