Thank you. The radiator has cold lake water flowing through it to act as a cooler for the compartment. There is also going to be an insulated wall separating the engine compartment.
@@HankPronkBtw one can try using small part of engine cooling liquid for cabin heating. Idk how it is in case of big size subs but imagine sitting nearly motionless at 10C in damp air. Kinda cold. Still an open question.
@@ІгорАлієв I do plan to use engine heat to heat the cabin. It does get chilly and it is not comfortable. I want to be able to use the sub in the winter.
Concerning fuel gauge, use some ready mechanic float with potentiometer or capacity sensor. Take some car or tractor parts. Plz never ever ultrasonic. They fail in complicated conditions. I had bad experience in corrosive damp atmosphere.
ChatGPT is super cool, just be aware that it lies one out of five times. It will even double and triple down when you catch it lying.
Thanks, I have noticed that, but for math questions its pretty good.
It's pretty amazing watching you build this! You never rest! Good on ya, man!
Thanks
Mr. Hank, why didn't you choose to install a fuel cell if concerned about leaks? Or an internal bladder fuel tank like an old Corvette?
I want the tank to fit the hull so it takes up less space. I like the bladder idea but pretty costly.
Wouldn't it get pretty warm in there sitting next to the radiator?
Anyway, your channel is one of my favorites.

@@HankPronk I was unsure about how marine radiators work. I assumed they worked like automotive ones.

@@HankPronkthat will be fine!
You can add just ordinary pressure gauge for oil pressure. Idk about diesel but everything higher than 1 bar is ok for gas engines.
It turns out my oil pressure sending unit is just for an idiot light. I will probably just go strait mechanical.
@@HankPronklots of cars have just on-off contact sensors. Some ancient cars from 70ies had sort ot real sensors using bimetallic plate.
Best advise. make sure you Life Insurance and Will, is up to date
Yes like a lot of hobbies it is dangerous. I guess I could sit on the couch like you and play video games. Pass the controller lol.

I ordered a simple float system.
@@HankPronkThat's right.
