- The Glock 43X MOS has been a super popular concealed carry pistol in the Glock line-up since it first came out! However, Shadow Systems CR920X is said by some to be the newest Glock 43x killer! Today, we will go over the differences of the Glock 43X MOS and the Shadow Systems CR920X and tell you our thoughts!
Concealed Carry Holsters: muddyrivertact...
Had a regular 43 years ago. Couldn't get over the low mag capacity.
I have two other Shadow Systems guns, and love them, so i picked up the CR920X. It does not disappoint. Im over 500 rounds and its my summer carry now.
Made in the USA Shadow Systems ftw!
Thanks for watching!
I got one and took to range yesterday to zero optic and break in. not one issue at all. I used to have a G43x mos but even after a trigger job still got rid of it as there is no 15rd mags I would TRUST for a carry mag. The SS has 15rd factory mags that run well. Feels better in hand with undercuts etc. Finally got what I was looking for.
I agree sir. Glad you like it!
Is the 920x grip the exact same length as the 43x? Cuz that would make me switch to the cr920x. I alrdy use a mr920 on my duty belt and lov eit
@@kalanipitmon7817 yup. 43x clone! with shadow systems appointments!
I love my 43x mos, got lucky with my trigger feels good and all i did was change the sights put the 507k and the Tlr 7 sub, great setup in my opinion
It’s a proven setup without a doubt. Thanks for watching!

Been waiting for this vid! Awesome comparison brother. I’ll be ordering a holster for my crx later today
Glad it helped. We appreciate you and your support more than you know!
Of course!
Love your holsters
Just ordered the shadow CRX from you guys. I order the 43x as the option with notes.
Thanks again!
I’m definitely sold on it Kevin, 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾..keep making Great content Brother
We truly appreciate your support!
Thanks for comparing these 2, very helpful sir
Glad it was helpful. Thanks for watching we truly appreciate it!
Does the shadow systems 15rd magazine fit in the 43x ?
I will try tomorrow and let you know but I do not believe so
They do not fit
@@muddyrivertactical that sucks but thanks for the update brother 👍🏽💯
Damn been looking for this information everywhere thought maybe they would fit. That sucks.
So that means the s15 and Glock oem 43x mags also won’t fit the shadow systems I’m assuming
I've got the Shadow Systems CR920X. It's better than the Glock 43X in every way. Even the shape of the grip feels better. The only issue I have with it is that the trigger shoe is not flush with the trigger blades. You start to feel it on your finger pad after about a hundred rounds. It's a bit annoying but not a deal breaker. I'm going to try pulling the trigger with the inside of my trigger finger's knuckle next time to see if that's more comfortable.
Thanks for watching!
2 questions, is the grip length in the two pistols the exact same size? And it's the 920x grip still glock angle or the added backstraps?
@@kalanipitmon7817 I'm not 100% sure, but I think the CR920X's grip length and angle are the same as the G43X's. The contours of the grip seem different, though-more ergonomic and a little narrower at the top. It doesn't come with interchangeable backstraps.
Not sure i heard u mention or not, but im pretty sure all shadow systems have considered Match grade barrels
Although i know this cr920x is better than a 43x I think im going to keep my 43x since I’ve already upgraded it. Im just waiting on the Radian Ramjet for the 43x to drop. Thats the last piece to the puzzle for me and 43x is set and staying forever. Whether i keep my 43x long term or not depends on if they make the Radian Ramjet for it.
Can’t go wrong with either. Thanks for watching!
Can you compare the gx4 carry to the CR920X please? Which would you recommend? Which has less recoil?
Absolutely we will add to our list !
The Wahrergriff backstrap will solve the beavertail issue on the 43x / 48 OEM frame
Thanks for watching
Very informative, but I’ll just stick with my 43X can’t justify the price!
Thanks for watching!
they also have a foundation model too. still a better deal than a glock.
Are there any other differences other than grip size to this over the CR920 with the 13 round magazines?
They “ fixed “ some barrel issues that people had with original ( I personally had zero issues with original either )
But mainly a full solid grip which feels way better than the regular cr920 with extended mag
Not to say it’ll be needed but I’m curious if that aftermarket magwell fits on the cr920x .
It’s not needed for sure! But I am not sure to be honest, I’ll try to remember to check tomorrow.
Thanks for watching!
Will the Magwell from the 43x for the 920x
Came here to check out the new cr920x. Love my mr920, but i might stay with the 43x for edc.
I would try the cr920p tho for edc tho
Do the shadow systems mags work in the 43x?
I do not believe so but I’ll check for sure tomorrow
@@muddyrivertacticalI’m interested to know as well!
They do not fit
My fn reflex holster fits great
Thank you sir we truly appreciate you and your support!
What holsters does the cr920x work with
We make holsters for the CR920 / CR920x
Very good video.... Thank you!!!
Thanks for watching!
Cr920x is my edc 💪
Seems like a solid choice! Thanks for watching!
I’ll stick with my Glock, the 43X has never disappointed me.
It’s tried and true for sure. Thanks for watching
I just bought a 43x gen 5 mos about a month ago which i still haven’t shot yet. But now i am ready to sell it for the cr920x.
Def sell it now while it’s still new. Once you shoot it it’ll be worth less instantly. I’m selling my Glock 43X MOS and my comp’d 48 MOS build and buying the CR920X
@@justin5421 where would you say is the best place to sell it? Gun stores don’t care if it’s been shot or not. Once it leaves out the store the value drops significantly
@@straplyfedjI have a LGS where they will sell the gun for whatever I want (as long as it’s not unreasonable) and then they just take 15% once it sells. They care whether it’s new or not and if it’s used how many rounds are through it. Hopefully you have a good gun store near you
@@justin5421 ok i will give it a try thank you. Good video 👍🏾
👍

"Not a Glock" wins, just cause it's not a glock.
As long as reliability holds out its a no brainer. thanks for watching!
Lost me at $800
You won’t be disappointed!
Twice the cost of a Glock 43X MOS... Can't justify it. I'd rather buy a Glock 43X then use the rest of that money on an AR-15.
Thanks for watching!
Glocks aren’t pretty and they’re only the best at one thing imo and it’s the most important reliability.
I don’t change a thing on them they’ve been working just fine for decades as is.
They are reliable for sure but thats about where the road ends. However, like you said without dependability you have a paperweight. Luckily there are lots of good reliable guns on market now days so you can choose what works best for you.
Thanks for watching!
Love my Glock 43x. No issues. I'll pass
Thanks for watching!
Glock bringing you the same boring design since 1986.
Not picking up chick with it. 😂
If it ain't broke don't fix it
@@iKnollex🤣🤣🤣🤣 that same ol response is sad
I’m waiting for the cr920p.
