The dude on the drumpad is insane! Tight!
Fretless bass has to be the coolest instrument ever.
The bass playing alone in just incredible but I've never seen anyone make electronic drums (especially by hand) sound so realistic! Such raw talent from just 3 guys on stage. Amazing!
this was great to watch. Drummer kicked ass, ive never seen someone play one of those things so well
Such amazing bass work by two inhumanly good players, but goddamn some sweet love is being made to that drum machine.
Three amazing musicians. Finger drummer takes the cake, if you watched without video you'd easily be mistaken for a real kit! Phenomenal
watched without video?
Every time I close my eyes my brain visually projects and acoustic drum set !!
Steve bailey is just one of those rare bassists who sound pretty meaningful whilst being really technical.
As a diehard metal head, and a metal bassist, i can only dream of being as awesome as these guys. I'm proud to say, that this is the best piece of music i have ever heard. And this comes from someone who only loves metal.
8.0 earthquake was registered by that victor's solo at the beginning...
From 8:29 to 8:55 Steve plays the iconic intro bass lines from ''So What'' by Miles Davis. Awesome!
+Melanie cordova i just noticed it after u pointed it out
Forget these two amazing bassists--that drummer really is the star of this show!
omg victor wooten had me dying with laughter. by 2:20 i was just blown away the screen is shaking with the power of his slappage
Oh fuck yeah!!
Wooten just crushing it then comes in Bailey with those wicked lines on a 6 string fretless. Fuck me.
I saw a show at the Culture Room in Ft. Lauderdale about 6 years ago with Victor Wooten and JD. Blair. They did a 4 hour show with small breaks here and there.Played every possible style of music including a few original metal songs!Drums and Bass only, no other instruments.Victor Wooten is unbelieveable!
If I ever have to rob someone or get in a vault stealthily I want someone to play this
2:07 steve's just wondering how victor's strings aren't snapping like twigs
He's hitting that bass so hard, the camera is shaking
He is with DR Strings.
Victor Wooten, best bassist in the world.
Victor, and Steve sounds fantastic as usual and David kicked ass on that drum machine.
the level of musicality and range of styles shown here is incredible, by all 3 of them
i think the low b on steve baileys bass is just a finger rest
It's hard to comprehend how many notes per second he is able to fit in as crisply as this guy is able to accomplish. all the little nuances between the muted notes is always gonna be impressive.
Steve's reaction at 2:07 is my face every time i watch Wooten Hahaha
Steve Bailey is truly incredible.
Drummer is insane, Victor is amazing as usual. Bailey is not bad either💪👑
they all play off each other brilliantly!
God damn I love Victor Wooten. I first learned of him when the Steve Smith vs Victor Wooten video hit the internet some 10+ years ago. Looks like such a great guy, and I've never seen someone so genuinely happy playing an instrument. How can you not like the guy
question : what is victor Wooten's hand made of?? steel?? this is very insane!!
I believe they are made of 100% funk.
PreSonus Audio Electronics Best reply ever award!!
i mean physically?? same tendons, bones and blood as mine ..lol
If you think of it as Yugo and Porsche are both cars... Sure, I guess...
sami aklilu probably a little bit of that pimp juice in there too..
don't matter what video is check, but time and time again Vic is blowing me out of my chair !!!
Wooten's right hand is just a steel hand on the end of an electric drill.
When people like these group together and make music, magic happens.
Just as I thought Vic couldn't get any better, he takes his most extreme techniques and tightens them up to perfection. The guy's a beast!!
I got to attend a Victor Wooten clinic once and it was seriously the most amazing thing ever. I learned more in a few hours with him than in seven years of classical training. I love seeing this man groove. Steve Bailey is amazing in his own right and I just love watching these guys.
so many references to loads of great songs..... i got goosebumps watching this its brilliant
David "Fingers" Saladfingers
+houseofmayors2 Would you like a warm glass of milk?
+PreSonus Audio Electronics I'd like some rusty strings, please!
We all know Victor and Steve are amazing but damn the drum dude.
i wish i could like this twice
If I was there, I would of course visit mighty Victor Wooten and walk away dissapointed by him. And hugely impressed by David Haynes. The drummer was amazing, Steve Bailey very good. Mr. Wooten spent years teaching that no one is interested in bass soloing unless it has groove, and now he´s doing this.
this is why I love music. it brings people together and forms new relationships
Salute to all three of you.Wonderful playing.Thanks.
I'd almost forgotten that the drums were being played on a pad because it was so good...
Thanks! They are indeed amazing. That pad controller is actually a Native Instruments Maschine.
5:00 Rolling Stones’ “Paint it Black”
I absolutely love watching steve watch victor... the "GADDAMN" expression is priceless, and you see it all the time whenever Vic goes off.
Thank you Presonus for sharing this with us.
Love this for the night
They still inspire me to this very day. Long live Victor, Steve and David!!!
This was just... WOW... I don't have the words... WOW !!
it is the best mix ever i listened from 14-15 febuary when i listen first time
this is why victor wooten is the best
Honestly the first three minutes are pure delight. @_@
Mind blown!
Wootens sound is absolutely SPOT on :D lovely!
i finally get it!!!!!!!!!!!! HE'S WHALE-ING ON THAT BASS
This is just stupid good. I can never get enough from Fingers.
Oh, these guys are legendary, and together unstoppable! This was awesome :-)
Thank you very much! I was sure I knew the song but weren't realising which one it was... Very much appreciated!
i saw victor and steve last sat in portland oregon it was a life changing mind expanding event and now this??? that presonus drum unti(i assume) is amazing....
That is so refreshing! Awesome!
LOve the drumming and groove from 2 of the worlds best. chou
This was incredible
This is soo seriously cool!
Watching these guys just...it'll really break a musicians heart. No, you won't ever, ever, ever, be that good. Ever.
i literally wait every year for the new PreSounus Wooten Bailey Haynes set :D
Três fera!principalmente com nosso Victor Wooten show!
that was amazing!!
Steve Bailey's bass... it just sounds like glass. It's so smooth and unique. Fretless people always try and get that growly tone, it seems. His sounds like a cello being plucked with a lot more sustain.
Wooten has an insane sound!!
Excellent!!!
This is guy is doing on that pad stuf that i couldn't even dream of doing on a real kit
he's incredible
Steve Baily is truly amaizing.
These are are worth every penny they earn, I dont begrudge them anything, awesome.
Wow!!! Amazing!
awesome video!!
Man, this sounds great! This video is awesome! I like the idea of a predominant Bass Guitar band!
Give it up for Native Instruments. Really good to see. Nice groove. Blew me away!
Mmm Victor's crunchy, funky tone and Steve's singing, smooth tone. Match made in bass heaven.
no matter what these guys are amazing...
baixista como victor wooten, nao tem ele e o numero 1 do mundo muitooooooooooooooooooooooooooo , fera,..
This is guy is doing on that pad stuff that i couldn't even dream of doing on a real kit
he's incredible
Victor's fingerstyle tone in this is perfect!!
the world greatest musicians
Fabulous!
I saw them in Eugene a few weeks ago... Awesome!
simplesmente fantástico, um grande privilégio em ouvir esses caras tocando.
perfect playing
Fantástico esse trio. Parabéns a todos que realizaram esse trabalho.
amazing!!!!
I love the sound victors bass makes.
2:00 Bailey's face is priceless.
Wow!! Man, the bass solos were awesome, BUT the DRUMMING took the cake AND THE ICING!!
AWESOME!!!
Outstanding
I agree, it's pretty amazing.
Amazing !!
wonderful
Haha! 25 frames per sec not keeping up with VW's hands!
Fantastic
Oh My God, I knew " victor wooten" don't is of planet earth! these guys are too
Hey soundartproject! While I imagine you can work something out with MIDI foot controllers, I don't think there's a dedicated hi-hat input like on other pad controllers. The Maschine is made by Native Instruments, not PreSonus, so I recommend getting in touch with them about the specs!
