    Hello, this was a fantastic video but im still a little confused on how the pressure independent valve works in conjunction with the control valve, it seems like they would fight each other, I know they don't, its just something Im missing. For example, lets say I select a PICV for 2gpm. This means that the valve is going to be able to provide 2gpm to the valve at a wide range of pressures when the valve is full open. Now lets say my control valve turns down to now 1.5gpm due to lower load, the pressure across the valve will increase and thus cause the regulator to close to absorb the additional pressure. How does this (double reduction, valve closing followed by regulator closing) affect system system temperature control vs a standard valve setup and manual balance setup. It seems like it would overall provide more stable control, but some input would be appreciated.

    well said.. i like the part that the flow limiter is described as deaf, dumb and happy..
