Why does the magic button doesn't work in anyway? It works just like the play button for deck B or deck A...

I want to know that how we touch the pads of Hercules dj controller, softly touch or hardly touch, and what is the mean of velocity sencitivity.

Hi! Thanks for your questions.
For information, a Velocity sensitive pad is different of a « button » pad for multiple reasons :
As its name says it, Velocity Pads sends « Velocity Message » and Aftertouch Message.
This kinds of pads come from the MPC Drumstations, it allows the machine to detect, with one pad hit, if the pad was pressed soft or hard, and to know if the finger is still on the pad or not.
In DJing softwares, Velocity Pads are not used for the velocity, but for their fast response, because this kind of pad doesn’t have a switch underneath the pad, so it feels more responsive.
Anyway, In DJUCED, with the DJControl Air et Air+ , we are using the aftertouch messages.
For exemple, you can activate an FX, keep your hand on the Pad, and modulate this FX with the Air feature.

Can I use the pads as Cue points?

@@Hercules_Audio May I know why? The pads send Midi signals so it should be mappable in the DJ software.

@@chaz-e Hello, it would be possible but there is no button to pass to HOTCUE... SO yes we could map the HOTCUE but we'd have to remove the LOOP, the FX or the SAMPLE.
