Hi I am a newbie learning to sew and was getting problem with sleeve cutting. Thank you so much for your easy explanation I did cut my sleeves and feeling confident. Keep the good work up.
U nailed it my dear U did it in a very simple way U are very talented So this is how it is , and we were finding it difficult in cutting them In fact u are genuine God bless you
Thank you, this is what I’ve been looking for. I’m wanting to make a v neck dress, out of a round neck pattern.🤔 I’ve just started making clothes. Wish me luck guys, I need it 😉
Ooomy God just had to subscribe after watching this u are so clear with your demonstration explanations please keep it up for beginners like me.i have learnt a million from this. Thank u for sharing
Greetings thank you so very much love this as a beginner! I know I’ll be cutting on a fold, however it’s for both the front and back? If I want the back to stay untouched use the same method only for the front.
When cutting a square neck, you'll usually use the same measurements for the back as you would for the front. But hey, if you're feeling adventurous, you can experiment with some different measurements and see what kind of unique style you can come up with. For necklines, you can make the front different from the back, if you choose to.
Hi am newest learning how to sew and thanks for your explanation but when you show us how to cut the round neckline is it possible to measure my body out fit from neckline to the bottom let me know please and show us because it seems like it's only neckline without body out fit thanks
You back neckline can be any style you want. You can make it same as the front, or make it different. The only difference is if you are adding a zipper at the back, remember to add your allowance for zippers.
Thanks so much for your feedback, and welcome on board. Please subscribe to this channel if you haven't already, and turn on notifications so you know immediately I upload more of these videos.
Thanks so much for this tutorial. It’s really easy. I’ve got one question though. How do I know the accurate measurement to use the neck without showing cleavages? i.e if I want to make round neck very close to my neck how do I know the suitable measures to use. I struggle with this
Because we all have unique shapes, you can measure from the base of your neck slanting down to the center of your chest to whatever length is comfortable for you. That will be your neckline depth.
Hello LTSA i am on my partner's account, i would like to know if i should seam allowance to those necklines or are they measured at finished edge? Thanks Mary
Hi Mary, always remember when you sew, it will take off about half an inch from the neckline, so always have this in mind. So if you are aiming to a finished neckline of 4 inches depth, for example, you may want to cut your depth as 3.5 inches (if your stitching will be about 0.5 inch), that will bring the final depth to 4 inches, for this example.
Please I need a help for Neck depth and neck Length calculations back front neck please I want to know how to calculate or how to know about all width. slope.armhole depth. Neck width. Neck depth front. Neck depth back or all Neckline please thank you
