Funfact: a decade back Cheetos were perhaps most commonly purchased snacks in India..not because of Cheetos themselves but because we used to get something called as a "Tazoo" in each packet hidden in the chips. They were based on Pokemon and later Dragon Booster and friends used to maintain a collection during school. Those were the days.

let me recommend some....lays magical masala, aloo bhujia, the others you saw in the videos and do try maggi (not the cup one ...the one which comes in a packet...for extra flavours add a bit of salt and some veggies)

2) Kurkure Masala Munch (Orange Pack), Kurkure Chilli Chataka (Dark Green Pack)
3) Lay's' India's Magic Masala, Lay's American Style Onion & Cheese, Lay's Spanish Tomato Tango
4) Bingo Mad Angles Achaari Masti, Bingo Mad Angles Chaat Masti, Bingo Red Chilli Bijli
You cannot go wrong with Lay's, Kurkure orange pack one after some while tires the eater, while dark green pack is better. Bingo Mad Angles, just dont go for other flavors besides above.

I loved Parle G. Parle G used to have a factory on the Bangalore-Tumkur highway and whenever I used to pass it, I'd get a waft of Parle G. Ohh so good. With the new highway, these days don't get that smell on that route.

Also, I seem to remember that Frooti was the first Indian drink to be sold in Tetra Paks.

in any indian mart in the US, you will get flat pieces of panipuri in packets. You need to make the potato mix and the water and then fry those flat things (they will become 3D sphere) and then you have all three together. Google the recipe

I would love to see your reactions to these snacks and maybe more, and I think you will like almost every one of them! Please do the video, I will be waiting. You should also try Vita Marie if you get your hands on them, cause I think they are not available in the US but they go on par with the Parle-G. You should also try green chutney and chili chatka Kurkures, they are better than the masala munch in terms of spiciness and taste.
Hey Andrew and Steph, the best mangoes are from Mumbai. They are called Alphonso mangoes. And guess who is in Mumbai right now? Jaby and Achara. Ask them to bring back home some Alphonso mangoes.

Between American and Indian snacks, I lean torwards prefering American snacks since I'm pretty sensitive to Indian spices and flavors. Plus, American snacks tend to have delicious cheese in them an ingrediant just not common in Indian snacks.

please do make a video of trying out those indian snacks ... it will be an interesting one... Lays blue coloured one.(indian magic masala), Haldi Ram (aloo bhujiya) ... both of these will be spicy.... soan papdi (sweet fibrous but u don't need to chew, literally melts in your mouth) and now these sweets come in various flavours, like orange, chocolate... etc.. hide and seek biscuits, little heart (kind of crackers), 50 50 bicuits, murukku or chakli (there is normal and spicy version), khakra (again it has various flavors to choose from) ... there will be a lot more... these are coming to my mind for now ... lol
When you try these please make sure that you have a steaming cup of chai to go along with the Parle G. And please time it well, its just dunk and straight into your mouth otherwise you'll end up with a lot od slush in your tea, although many op us Indians like that too.
