I bought the Shift Camo from you guys. Great price by the way. The boots are comfortable and the set up is very high quality. But like a lot of Razors skates they squeak line crazy! I removed the cuff and waxed underneath it on boot and the inside of the cuff and they're much better now. Wheels and frames are GC. They're good but there is some wheel stick on grinds so I might look at some anti-rocker wheels. Still, love the skates, they're great!
It’ll be interesting seeing the remz cuff on the shifts for example and seeing someone skate it, funny I’m in the market for pair of skates and I saw shifts so felt like a sign lol
I wonder if there's a v2 version of the Shift. Many shops list a Razors Shift 2 (all black with a grey soleplate). Are all other boots v1 and what are the differences? I'm really confused.
Great series. A review of the the new PS Kaze would be great. Please always mention your foot dimensions and what size you choose when you do a skate review.
Can u please clarify. I just bought the razors andrew broom pro shift skate. It has that detachable frame. It makes me nervous tho. I just bought the skate and it just shipped out to me. I dont have it in hand yet. Those two buttons im hoping there is some bolts i can screw in too so im not just relying on those buttons. Are there bolts as well holding it together?? Not just the buttons.?
En mi caso se sentía raro tener tanto soul plate. Eran cómodos, los mejores que he tenido después de mis K2, pero los tuve que vender, necesitaba el dinero.
I want to buy the shift to practice street aggressive but I also want to use it to practice urban. What base can I use, what name of this base and where can I find it?
My cosmos are the comfiest skate stock I've ever had (compared to aeons w/myfit, rb trs and blank trs pro, thems) I just think it's not worth the cost for collecting all the soul plates if you buy enough for a couple of set ups you might as well buy some more skates I know it's not the point but it's so pricey I just take the plates off and swap frames then put them back on.
I want to get back into inline skating, in the near future. But too bad that the Cosmo are not being made anymore. :( The Cosmo is the only one that fits my requirements, seems like I have to build a custom Shift skate from scratch. Is anyone knowledgeable enough to educate me on how to build a Cosmo replica based on the Shift? Here are my plans: - Shift boot only - 3 or 4 soul plate/frames - 3 or 4 Iqon AG Decode Pro 80 - 4x80mm wheels/bearing/etc set - 3x10mm wheels/bearing/etc set - Either Ground Control or Transformer V2 Ice Blades - Razors Carrying Bag Thanks guys!
...don't you just need a cosmo soulplate and put it on a shift boot? Boot is same except 45 ratchet... Or did I not understand your question correctly? 😅
@@ericbernardi8116 I'm aware that the Shift and Cosmo shares the same soul plate. What do you mean 45-ratchet? Since the Cosmo isn't in the market anymore, I would think that the Cosmo has a different tighter cuff compared to the the Shift. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
@@Tocino_Wheelsthe shift has a bigger and more rigid soul plate than the Cosmo and the cosmo can accommodate big wheel setups, everything else is the same except the Cosmo's ratchet strap was at a 45 degree angle.

So, if I usually wear 42-43 shoes (mostly 42.5 if it is available), which size would I choose? 41-42 or 43-45?
Perfect review. Differences explained very clear, especially fitting ( feet shape comfort)
Glad it was helpful!

Is it possible to downsize with Intuition liner? 270mm liner in a 38/40 shift shell?
So I have the Shift Camo and I want to change the soul plate, but I dont have many options then?
You can buy the cosmo soul plate to run bigger more street orientated wheels and frames
Its possible makes urban with razors shift Wheels 60mm?
What shock absorber are you using Ivo?
A metal camo buckle to match the boot would finish it off perfect
Can post to Malaysia?

I would love it if you could do a review for the FR FR1 80 skate.
Will do one for sure!
@@Thisissoul Awesome, thanks!

look for "oysi" frame like he have, its a flat frame hi low but with a good groove .
my only complaint about the shift is the squeaking sound. they squeak and creak and it never goes away.
Take the cuff off. Wax the skate and the squeak will disappear 😉
Wax between your boot and cuff. Thank me later 👍👍
Are they lighter or still heavy?
