    Hey Richie, I saw you in Philly. Loved seeing you play, chatting with you and Joey. I’d love to see more video lessons from you on your signature beats and fills, and stuff you work on. Thanks, and Gid bless.

    Grats to you man. I know the Pearl maple gums sound absolutely amazing.. but an unboxing/unveiling without playing kills my soul.

    I'm not sure what modern Pearl cymbal holders are like, but I have a bunch from the late 80s and early 90s, and the combination of smooth boom arm, boom arm position clamp that completely closes the gap between the two sides when tightened, and (in the case of older cymbal holders like mine) lack of a memory lock on the arm, means the arm can be prone to slip/turn, depending on how it's positioned and how I'm playing the cymbal. But I stick with them, because the Uni-Lock tilters are too good, plus I don't really want to spend the money to get a new set of cymbal arms. At least the slippage is small enough that I can usually get through a session without having to stop and re-position the arm.

      Hardware is make or break for me. These stands are so impressive. Tons of heavy hitters enjoy Pearl's hardware options, and that makes me very excited.

    What’s being a a Pearl artist mean?? So many RUclips drummers are endorsed by a company Free drums?? A little discount?? There are many levels of endorsement!

      Drums at retail pricing , a free high hat clutch and 2 zoo tickets.

    • @Richie.Martinez
      @Richie.Martinez  5 месяцев назад +7

      The 2 zoo tickets are extremely accurate.
      For me, since I’m a not a RUclips drummer and I’m in a band that tours, releases albums, and such, it means I have worldwide support when it’s needed, I get to represent the world’s best brand and join a list of elite players, and much more. Oh, and I pay 300% more than MSRP for everything! 😜

      @@Richie.Martinez Jokes aside, I'm also interested to know : any discount ? Considering the high price of these drums.
      I don't need to know the amount, just if there are any discount at all.
      If you have any other details about the many advantages : Feel free to inform us (or not if it is something private at any level) i'd be truly thankful.

      @@vcucco69 Artists have the benefit of pricing privileges. Sometimes, certain artists get gear for free. Discounted prices are a must for signed artists. If you ever get offered a deal with a low discount or no discount, it’s not a deal. There are also artist tier levels for certain companies but not all. The relationship between both parties is symbiotic and not always so strict. We help each other.

      @@Richie.Martinez thank you very much for your clear answer. This has always been a "mystery" for me. Hope i'll get in touch with a brand some day.
      May I ask you who come to who first ? The artist or the company ? I mean I know it can be both possibilities but, in your case for example ? Isn't it odd to ask for an endorsement ?
      Thanks again !
