Sam and max's voice actors are so amazingly well executed. I won't forget that the actor for Sam voiced bowser on the mario bros super show though. I'LL NEVER FORGET.
I spent my teenhood playing the telltale games series, so you’d THINK that I’d be biased toward Max’s voice actor from that game, but I seriously think Robert Tinkler is the best Max this franchise has ever seen. His deliveries are always gold, and the voice itself is slightly grating, but never annoying. Perfect for Max.

I’d be more curious as to what the Sam and Max TellTale games would be like if they actually went with Harvey Atkin’s take instead of what they want Sam to sound like in every single game… that includes “They stole Max’s Brain” for how much time we have of Sam being so aggressive.

So happy people are rediscovering this wonderful series. between the comics and the video games it was kind of the black sheep of the family. but for me personally this was Sam and Max at their best! this was the kind of show that just GETS me.
I love how the first episode is just one big reference to Aliens and The Thing. They hunt the shape shifting being with flamethrowers, the dude caught in the TV-dinner package is a clear reference to the captured colonists and the dude shouting at 2:18 is named Hudson and keeps going ”game over, man”, just like Hudson in Aliens.
I could be wrong but I could swear that Sam when he's shouts sounds just like king Koopa/Bowser from the super mario super show. 0:39 Update - after further research my hypothesis was correct as king Koopa / Sam are both played by an actor called Harvey Atkin.
