    I would like to see them replace corkscrew! Its uncomfortable and very short, and has lived its life! I heard you mention magnum as well, and honestly magnum just need different lap restraints that dont cut into your thighs when you get air time sections

      He just did the final round of the Thrilling 32. I feel he should not show his face again until he gets the final results of the tournament posted.

    I couldn't agree more with the 42" height requirement, that's a huge gap in their lineup, especially before Wild Mouse. Crazy to me that Iron Dragon, Mine Ride, and Blue Streak are all 48" when similar rides at other parks are 42" - I think another good ride in that height category, maybe something like Fire Chaser Express, would really round them out.

    The getting soaked coasters should actually be in a water park area. There is one where the cars get so full of water it is literally 18" deep and people's sneakers and clothes are drenched. I think there is one place that a coaster like that is in a water park area and the people wear their bathing suits.

    The best fun I remember having was off the ride at Kings Island back in 1993. There is a bridge that went over the track at the bottom of the hill so so a surf of water would wash over it to the left and right of the plunging boat. This would get you totally soaked and I watched a small child get knocked down from the force. Needless to say after a dozen times of getting pummeled my girlfriend and I went back to the motel to shower and change into dry clothes.

    I’m more anticipating a water coaster. That makes the most sense.
    A Mack Extreme spinner and a Vekoma Flyer should also be on their list.

    They need to do a Vekoma Flying coaster like F.L.Y. It’s an awesome looking ride, CP needs one.

    I still think the best new large ride for them is the next gen vekoma tilt coaster (with a crazy layout post drop.) Whether it's here or in Corkscrew's spot.

    Rougaru's plot could be a great section for a twister woodie layout, you could even put in a spiral lift to save some space and make it more compact. I feel like if they got rid of a water ride, they'll need to add in another water ride since only one remains at the park and there are some seriously hot days in Ohio come June-September.

    • @COASTERnet
      @COASTERnet  Месяц назад

      I’ve heard Zambezi is having nothing but problems with their spiral lift. I’m not sure we will see another. I also think the days of water rides in a dry park are numbered. Shoot the Rapids was a complete disaster and if not for a few quick guests could have killed people. I think that left a sour taste in the parks mouth. Also, Cedar Point has always tried to drive people to their separate ticketed water park. This might just be one more step towards that.

      @@COASTERnet what about a watercoaster then?

    • @COASTERnet
      @COASTERnet  Месяц назад

      Cedar Fair isn’t known for their theming. However they also need a dark ride. You might be able to satisfy both with a water coaster with a nice dark ride section in it. Same could be done with a modern flume. That’s a huge longshot.

      @@COASTERnet How bout a Gravity Group Woodie with a Steel Structure, Vekoma Family Launched Coaster, or a B&M Family Coaster one of these to go along with a flat rides package and a new restaurant for the SRF plot along with the Former Forbidden Frontier Plot? With there direction right now can't see them replacing this with another water ride/water coaster!

      @@braddougan1919 I loved The Villain at GLP. The speed was insane after a good rain. It is such a shame nobody bought it at auction and it was demolished and the scrap steel recycled.

    The Wildcat plot would fit a Vekoma flying coaster like F.L.Y. And for the Snake River Falls plot personally I would like to see them go Mack extreme spinner but I would be shocked if it isn't a water coaster with a splash down in the same spot as Snake River Falls. With them just adding a spinning coaster I don't think they would add another one so soon.

    I don't think it will be wood personally. Cedar Point seems to have an aversion to it. Realistically, I see this being a water ride/coaster.

    • @COASTERnet
      @COASTERnet  Месяц назад

      I don’t blame them. I’d much rather see a Mack or Vekoma that can break a top 10 or even 5.

      @f1fan112 Месяц назад

      @COASTERnet I really don't see them going for a top 5 coaster in the country/world.
      This is gonna be a family flume ride or a water coaster. I don't even expect it to go over the island either.
      I think big things are coming to that area and SRF would be phase #1
