I really enjoyed this video, WildBlue! The second stream that you fished was absolutely gorgeous. Looked to have some fantastic pocket water that would be a truck load of fun to nymph. I fished Western Maryland once many years ago when I was relatively new to fly fishing. This region is on my radar to check out again. Be safe and have fun out there.

Wow great video! I really enjoyed it. Such great looking water on both rivers, the second one was absolutely gorgeous (even with the gunfire/firecracker incident haha). I remember many many years ago when I was new to flyfishing I was in a bigger river with a cliff on one side and all of sudden there was a huge splash and I was so confused then I turned away and there was another. I was convinced kids were pranking me and throwing rocks from the cliff. Then I saw a beaver and watched it slap its tail for the first time, ohhhhhhh!! Same type feeling though like what is going on here haha. Anyway great video and fun to watch, makes me want to check that area out some day!

Thanks for the kind words! You have definitely inspired me to do better with my films. You would like this area. 2 tailwaters that can be fished with just a MD fishing license and there is plenty of brooke trout fishing in the area as well. Thanks for sharing the story about the beaver! Some crazy things can happen when you are out exploring! Tightlines!

@@WildBlueDiscovery whenever you are at a new location like that or a different state do you pick up rocks and woods to see what bugs you might need to use?

@dennybowser5533 ...no..not a bad idea. But flies that work for Browns and Rainbows elsewhere...will probably work on new water. At the end of the day presentation trumps pattern alot of the time.
