Restoring two 80 year old art deco camera flashes (part 1)

Having finally got the period correct bulbs for the flashes that go with my Anscoflex II & Brownie Hawkeye I set about trying to make them work. Both of these cameras are products of the 50s, and from their condition it is likely that they haven't seen use for over 50 years as it is. It might take me some time to find every little gremlin and get these back to working order, but I plan to make the attempt.
