Gosh I miss this place so much. It almost hurts going into the courtyard and seeing Star Wars Launch Bay in what used to be my favorite place. I wish even more to have seen it when it was a running studio. That closed before I remembered ever going.
I was never old enough to appreciate this for what it was when I went there, now I'm 17 and planning on working for Disney, hearing this for like the twentieth time, wishing I could go back to when this was still the animation courtyard
The *Mulan* score is awesome ....anyone reading who has yet to have listened to the soundtrack album should. One of the last scores done by the late, great, Jerry Goldsmith.
So sad that this area was "revamped" into the Star Wars Launch Bay. :( At least I can listen to this, close my eyes, and almost feel like it's still there.
A Bugs Life - the *forgotten* Pixar film. Nice to see parts of the soundtrack included in this loop, as ABL had a great score. The loop here starts with a mix of clips that highlight moments from the score of *A Bugs Life*( opening, Hopper, The Bird, and finale ) and then goes directly into the finale for *The Hunchback of Notre Dame*. Next is the opening titles for *The Little Mermaid* , then the opening title score of *The Jungle Book*. The *Mulan* Overture follows, as does B+Beast.
I always put on the Main Title theme from The Little Mermaid whenever I'm in a bad mood :) Just how soothing the orchestra sounds always just puts me at ease.
Same for me with the only exception that I'm from Rome. :D Still I should move to France for work reasons in less than a month, which means I'll go back to Disneyland as soon as possible! The DLRP version of Pirates was great but I'm dying to see the one in California!...
Beast: [Struggling] You - You came back.Belle: Of course I came back. I couldn't let them... Oh this is all my fault. If only I had gotten here sooner.Beast: Maybe... Maybe - it's better... it's better this way.Belle: Don't talk like that. You'll be alright. We're together now; everything's going to be fine, you'll see.Beast: And at least - I got to see you - one last time.[the Beast dies]Belle: No, No! Please. Please... Please don't leave me.[Belle sobs]Belle: I love you.[the last rose petal falls]
Ok, lets see if I can do this... 00:00 - 03:07 - Bugs Life (Beginning of Movie) 03:08 - 03: 50 - Bambi 03:51 - 04:10 - Toy Story 04:11 - 05:08 - Bugs Life (End of Movie) 05:09 - 06:25 - Fantasia (I might be wrong on this one) 06:30 - 07:21 - Hunchback Of Notre Dame 07:22 - 08:47 - Little Mermaid 08:48 - 11:27 - Jungle Book (Doubting myself here too) 11:32 - 18:31 - Mulan 18:38 - 24:28 - Beauty and the Beast
+Brooke S It's "Into the Sunlight" from Hunchback of Notre Dame. It plays at the end of the film when the townspeople finally accept Quasimodo and right before "The Belles of Notre Dame (Reprise)". Such a great piece of music!
